Though the man had gone but his music is still very alive. Can never stop to listening to his soothing music.
First heard of Floyd Cramer with the song "Last Date". Loved this tune so much, I bought the sheet music [still have it] and learned to play it the way he did. Until recently, I never knew
Floyd had so many wonderful songs. Now I'm addicted to listening to him play everything from Gospel music to country to popular. His productions [slip note] are calming and enable me to do paperwork productively while listening to him. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!! Thank you for posting this compilation on RUclips....
Floyd Cramer,one of the all time great instrumentalist. Simply beautiful.
My brother started playing Mr Cramer's back in high school back in the 60's. All I heard at home was him playing the piano all he time. At one if the high school talent shows he got up and played Cramer for almost an hour. Later at home I critiques him as I had heard all the music for many years. He actually welcomed what I had to say. He continued with his music and earned the highest grade possible at that time. Then he became a high school English teacher and math teacher. after school he would give music lessons until the School made it a full time class. To this day at age 72 he still, plays the piano and also the organ at his church.

I always loved Floyed Cramer's style. So , I learned a great part of his music , and , just enjoy playing his slip note style , adding variety to what I play.

I bet I still have a 30 year old cassette tape of Floyd Cramer somewhere that works. You can't seem to keep up with CD's 2 years, although they have better playing quality and will take you right to the song in an instant. CD players fail more frequently and CD's get destroyed or lost much easier it seems.
I used to love to listen to Floyd Crammer on road trips as well as Richard Clayderman.

EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL, AND ROMANTIC EXPRESSION
Floyd Cramer: the greatest piano stylist of ALL TIME. I have been playing his music, and his piano style, for over 40 years. One of these days I might come close to mastering some of his great techniques on the piano.

I spent my childhood in the far south of Brazil, in a region called Pampa where grassy plains extend in all directions far beyond what the eye can see, with cattle, dairy, wheat farms. And that was a looong time ago - in the fifties. Curiously there was a radio station which used to play Floyd Cramer piano pretty often, as though the countryland where I lived had something to with the country in the US. Perhaps it has. The result is that Floyd Cramer is something deep in my memories and in my heart. Thank you very much for this video!

As long as I've got Floyd Cramer to listen to, I don't mind the isolation of this COVID-19 era.
So wonderful to find a source for my favorite instrumentals. My tapes are long-gone. My albums are missing in action. And I can't locate CDs of most of his work. Thank you for this publication!

Such a beautiful piano style! First date, first kiss, when I was 13 or 14 gave me one of his albums. Have loved all his music since. That was 1960 or 1961,
