You didn't show the process of putting the middle collar on. That's what makes a Euro pen!

What rpm should my lathe be at?

For walnut, I’ll turn it between 1500-1800rpm. Depending on the type of wood grain and how sharp your chisels are, I would lean toward the higher rpm for carving. Then after sanding is done, around 2500 for steel wool and wax application.

    what were your measurements?

Hi Amber, my measurements are based on the lengths of the brass barrel tubes in the pen kit. Diameter measurements are based on the bushings for the style of the pen being made. 👍

    Unable to get audio

Hi Harry, There isn't really any audio because I shot this using a gopro camera. It was really muffled and wasn't worth keeping. Sorry but thanks for watching none the less!

    Not much help without audio

Hi Peter, what help are you needing? The video sound was too muffled as I was only intending to show the process of making the pen. I'm in development of making new videos to show a bunch of projects but it's tough to devote a bunch of time to video production with a young family and doing this as a hobby. Comment and I can give you tips if you have questions!
      Cheers,
