- An impromptu and MUCH needed couple of days away, documented as best we could. Staying at Ambleside Manor in Ambleside, the Lake District which was/is a special deal for two nights bed and breakfast with a dinner each night at either Zeffirellis or Fellinis. We ate at both and had an absolutely gorgeous stay which we HIGHLY recommend to all. Hope you enjoy our snippets. We've treid to show as much as we could whilst still enjoying an actual break. xx

We had a lovely break away in the Lakes, in December for our ten year anniversary. We stayed at Cragwood country house and it was bloody incredible! We also went to those restraunts, aren’t they marvellous? Your hotel looks equally as beautiful, we will have to book their to return with our daughter. When we went everything had a beautiful blanket of snow, it was so scenic!
I feel more relaxed just watching this.

The natural beauty we have in Britain, doesn't get celebrated enough. The views looked amazing, and Ambleside Manor just looked so gorgeous and cosy.

Hubby and I went to Zeffirelli's a few months ago while in the lake District. It was amazing and very wheelchair friendly for me. Excellent staff.

I forget you can get around England within miles or hours quickly. A 45 minute drive here in Southern California with traffic is not that far in miles. When people ask how far, we answer not by miles but time. Glad you had a nice getaway. Cheers to having some downtime.

Pre covid, we stayed at Ambleside Manor a few times. What a gem, so tranquil. The biccies weren't vegan then but we did see a deer in the car park nibbling on greenery. Seeing your footage gave us a yearning to go back. The Kimono artwork and little jugs of soya milk in the fridge. Zefferellis even had Live Jazz upstairs some weekends. It was a lovely feeling seeing you guys have a smirch of much deserved downtime.
The food, the scenery, time to just relax. Bloody gorgeous!!🌳

This is so beautiful. I popped into the hotel for a look round while visiting the area a few years ago, with the intention of going back for a stay. Never made it though, so thoroughly enjoyed sharing your experience. It has a VERY special atmosphere.

Your joy in life and in each other is SO uplifting.
That is the kind of area in which I could contentedly live. Small, some hills, lakes relatively close to the sea, AND with veg friendliness. Usually all of that other is about, but with nothing veg friendly. I guess that is an UK thing.

Now, what an amazing video once again and it was nice that you took one on a journey, love the production work and the way it was edited too, like shots saying next day, and I personally felt like I was going with you guys on a journey which made the video experience even more special in my opinion, will definitely be checking it out maybe go here with my mother or a family member as I really wanted to come to the Lake District at some point in my life, and you have now given me a great option and taken out some of my research work to date, smiles, thank you for this factor, and video too.
Lastly, I loved the natures views, ducks, wildlife, and boats to date, definitely my kind of trip and a place where I think 🤔 🤔 and consider I can be tranquil for a few days out of what can be a stressful life at times, work studies and problem solving in life daily and running a home too, so thank you guys for your incredible insight to date, this gesture is truly appreciated. 😊😊 17:49 😊😊
