I would like to send my love and respect to all the Kings guards. They perform their duties with pride and honor.
I hate seeing how some people think it is an amusement park.

It's good to see children shown the gentleness of horses. A lady in my therapy group had lower body crushed when her horse fell on her. She didn't blame him because something on the trail spooked him. She was just as concerned for him as he fell too. Thanks for excellent video.

Horses are wonderful therapy for special needs and certain forms of autism . These giant animals can be so gentle they break through barriers we cannot reach 🙏🏻❤️

Funny how much I enjoy watching people who show RESPECT for the guards & the horses. (The dumb ppl let the guards handle. 🤦🏻‍♀️👍) … Also, when you walk the street to take us on a little tour would you please write in the names of statues?? EX: you passed a huge bronze, I think, of a man on a horse which was beautiful. If possible write in the name when you edit?? -please & thanks. Just subscribed. Love this channel. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 for ALL from horse lovers in Texas, USA. 🇺🇸

I was wishing the same thing but looked like one would have to go into the street to see a plaque. Then I thought maybe just representing generically.

They are the best there are and some have really wacky sense of humour too . My prayers are with them over the dreadful incident . At one time workmen were actually told watch out for horses and wait for appropriate moment after notifying the riders 'ware below heavy load being dropped . Not only is it common decency it is common sense too . I pray the horses all recover without permanent harm and their riders also 🙏🏻❤️

Poor horse wants that bit out of its mouth. To just stand there and let people touch you all day. That's not a what a horse was made for. This is mean to the horses, being made to be a show and tell piece.

I'm in total agreement. No bit for sure, they're not going anywhere with their cumbersome costume anyway.

They are on duty for 1 hour with 7 to 10 days between shifts. They have other ceremonial duties. This is only one where they stand guard.
Whatever you think a bit is essential when in heavy traffic and among the public. The bit is a roller which they engage with ,like a child sucking a thumb.

If there's a problem the police are called. The costumed guards can't do anything to help. They can't ride with those gloves, boots, swords, coats, helmets and so on to save the day. You're the one who needs to study. It's all about tourism, Neil. Why don't you put a bit in your mouth and roll it around, while standing in the heat with a fully costumed man on your back, and spurs to kick you when you move.
