Higurashi spans multiple story arcs, and how they relate to one another is part of the mystery. As you noticed, the proper ordering is at the top of the spine. The black covers and spines mark the Question Arcs that establish the mystery, and the white covers and spines mark the Answer Arcs that resolve the mystery. The Demon Exposing single volume is a side story best read after the Question Arcs, and Dice Killing is an epilogue best read after the Answer Arcs.

I am a big shojo fan personally! One of my top favorites is probably Ceres: Celestial Legend and Alice19th by Yu Watase. I tend to gravitate towards shojo but one of my favorite shonen is Haikyu. I'd say Haikyu and Inuyasha are two of my faves fhat arent shojo
you have to finished Maid-sama, this is still after sooo many years, my favorite Shojo manga, the dynamic, the story, all the characters, I love this manga so much! for Kimi ni Todoke, I suggest for you to watch the anime, the live action did not justify the show for me, so watch the anime and continue the manga, it was so cute! i love them. If you want to watch, the live action of Kimi ni Todoke, watch the movie version, this was done so well far better than the netflix one. My top shoujo manga/anime: • Maid-sama (Kaichou wa maid-sama) • Kamisama Kiss • Kimi ni Todoke I have rewatch and re-read these 3 esp maid-sama, i rewatch and re-read every year lol
