      Yes I belive everyone should have a chance to go for at least one semster to study aborad (even to the country next to us not necesarelly overseas hahaha) I'm happy You enjoy this series 😊 😊

      @@ByMagdaYT Its certainly something I wish I would have done - I should have pushed more when I was younger and then really just fell into a comfortable rut when I was in college and didn`t even travel for Uni. I think that's why I do try and travel as much as I can now.

    OH MY GOD this was super helpful! you are amazing, and so is your english! Because of Corona virus the whole process has been slowed down but this video helped to clear some things up. I also would like to ask how long it took you to become fluent in english.

      I'm very happy that it helped ❤️ - I also plan to do few more videos in this topic (application process step by step, my experience with RYE, where and when to go and stuff like that) so stay tuned!
      I was studying English since kindergarden and I knew it pretty well when I went on exchange but being fluent fluent took me problably 3-4 months and still improving every day!       Depends on the country but yes normally yes however some make you host the same year you're gone others the year after, one will ask you to host for only 3-4 months other for whole period of exchange (about 10 months)

    is it hard to be picked by rotary and get in the exchange program? how many people from the country do they choose?

      Hello, it depends on the district (which is not always a country), but it's more or less the same each year so if you figure out how many people went last year it should be similar, also it's easier to get if you don't mind the country and if you're just ready for exchange (not very immature, parents dependent or you don't speak English at all etc)

      Depends on the place but usually you host for a time you're gone so 9/10 month but sometimes Rotary allows you to do just one round so around 3/4 months

    hi! I'm not sure if you still reply to these comments, but I was wondering if you know what are the chances of getting excepted into the program. is it hard to get into?

      Hello, I would say the biggest obstacles are as followed:
      1. Age (between 15,5-17,5/18)
      2. Finding the club (might be a problem if you're in smaller city)
      3. Money
      4. If you're willing to host someone because most of the clubs require you
      The rest is on your personality, knowledge of languages, cultures, willingness to learn new things, being open minded and not racist or intolerant - at least in my opinion 🙈

      @@btsinpastas9159 depends on how much you rotary club will sponsor but on top of visa and planes to go plus some pocket money/travels you need to pay I think at least 2/3k dollars

      Hey! Normally it's under 18,5 but ut all depends if you're still in high school - if you are there are higher chances even when being older 😊

    I just got the information that someone has canceled their spot as rye exchange student and then they asked if I want to go insted of her. After thinking five minutes I said yes. But now I am so stressed because I am so late with the paper work compare to other students.

      Don't worry 🥺 You'll get everything on time! The visa is most important at time and I was doing mine few months before going (June/July) and most of students get their info they they are accepted for the program long time before You know anything else (town, school, host families) so I'm sure You'll be totally fine and You won't regret it 🎉😊 the real problem with time starts after April 💪 good luck on Your exchange and i hope all my videos will help You 🥰 don't hesitate to comment here or contact me on Instagram 🎉😌

      Hello, sorry I have no clue what they will ask you but they shouldn't be difficult questions, try to Google it ot because I never had interview before my exchange (I explained it in this or other videos I made)

      It all depends on coutry that sends you and that you go to, trips, if you gonna host or not and for how long, so it's hard to say but it's I would say not less than USD 10k if you host and travel over there

      It all depends from Your visa mostly and the program, for example in US I had visa that didn't allow me to do another visa for 2 years from the issue of the visa for exchange - who knows why but that was a requirement 🤷 also 4 years is very long time, normally exchange is 1 year long (10 months to be specific)

      No no (at least I didn't and I haven't heard about anyone with Rotary to do so), the main idea is to stay in the same city and go to the same school for the whole year 😊

    Ohhh, what if age , is aboutv14,5 years old, because it's a bit difference, but not 15, so when you are younger than 15, can you become an exchange student?😢

      No, usually no because it's only more issues (you can't even fly alone) just prepare yourself to go one year later 😌

      If You're gonna be 18 You have less choices because a lot of counties says under 18 at the moment of arrival 😔 watch my other videos about how to apply and when to go 😌 they are on the RYE playlist 😊

      Also it depends from the country but a lot of countries did it even this year and didn't finish earlier last year so it depends You have to talk with Rotary clubs in Your country/district

      @@ByMagdaYT also i really would like to ask, this is more about mental health but I'm a person with social anxiety but i really want to challenge myself and go to a school in a completely different country and I'm ready for that but I'm worried that they might decline my application if i do talk about having that since i know they do these interviews i hear about being confident and like i mentioned I am ok going to a country experiencing school somewhere else but do you think they might decline the application if someone had anxiety? and also apologies for this long reply but also do they pick which school you go to? like you cant pick if you prefer girls or mixed?       This one is already kinda low cost, other low cost are normally scholarship programs but I haven't done it - try to write in Google name of your country (or country you wanna go to) and something like scholarship program (funded) exchange

      @@adan26829 there is either one year (actually 10 months most of the times) or 2-6 weeks during vacation and it's called short term Rotary exchange program (I made recently video about it as well so you can check it out ☺️☺️)

      Also it depends from the country to country but fixed costs should vary between 4-5 thousand dollars plus visa, trips, flight to and back ect... (In comparison other organizations have prices 10-12k up for a semester so 🤷)

      No, definitely no! And honestly if You wanna go anywhere else than US it doesn't have to be really good neither (I would say basic knowledge), if You go to US it has to be good enough to be able to get visa (one girl from Chile who was with me on exchange had to postpone her arrival for about a month bc she didn't know any english and they just didn't want to give her american visa bc of it but after 2-3 weeks of preparation she got the good enough level to pass the conversation in embassy and went on exchange 😌😌)
      Ps I'm not native speaker either and look how many exchanges I've done 🙈
