Great seeing someone do Blind Melon. When I first heard them they became my favorite band. Their breakout and fist album is great, and every song on their is great (this one included). A few other songs from that album that stand out to be are:
- Change
- Dear Old Dad
- Sleepy House
PS - The little girl in the video, all grown up now, is some kind of doctor I believe. For a while there was a whole group of people who followed her as she grew up ... she was know as "The Bee Girl"

Yes. This I really like. Later on in the 90s, a band called Rootjoose entertained us for a while. They made a great album called Rhubarb. Maybe you could play their, Cant Keep Living This Way, and Long Way. In fact, the whole album is great ,and reminds me of Blind Melon in some ways.
The bee girl was inspired by the drummer's little sister (who appears on their album cover as a little kid in her own bee costume). Just google the album cover if you want to see the original 'bee girl'.
I was at the Reading Festival in the UK during the 90's when they played with Nirvana but was found dead of an OD later that weekend. ROIP Shannon Hoon

Although i do love this song, out of their entire discography it's in the middle. "Soup" was a perfect album then "Nico" might also deserve that title. Not a bad song in their catalog.
