    I noticed you always stitch diagonally to the natural warp and weft of the fabric, is there a reason to this? does it make the final piece more structurally sound? i would instinctually use the warp and weft as guides for keeping on a straight path.

      No you can stitch in whatever direction you prefer

      Yes of course! you can use any fabric. But very stretchy fabrics are difficult to embroider with

      Im using a viscose embroidery thread, but you can use any thread
