- Nymph fishing is a deadly technique for catching trout. In this special video Mark Raisler from Head Hunters Fly Shop in Craig Montana teaches us some outstanding techniques for getting proper and long drifts with our nymph patterns. Mark also goes into detail demonstrating how to build various nymph rigs that work well. The Missouri River, which is a tailwater fishery in this region of Montana, is a fantastic drift boat experience year-round for brown, rainbow and cutthroat trout.

Mark Raisler is the best! Shout out HeadHunters Fly Shop, and the Missouri River. Proud to be a Montanan, with these waters being my home waters. Amazing place to live fish and occasionally go to work. 😆 I enjoy at least one trip a week here on this River. Truly blessed!
You're a great ambassador Colin. Wonderful video

You got that right!
Thanks for sharing these tips! Looked like a beautiful day
Great video guys enjoyed it.
He ain't lying when he says make the change! I've found that if I'm not getting any takes something is off. It's such a fun game of cat and mouse chasing trout. 😎🎣
You're totally correct and it is part of the fun of fishing. Thanks for feedback.
Great footage and some real nice hookups! Going to put this place on my list !

Thanks for the continued, great footage.
More to come!
Awesome video! Would love to do a trip with Headhunters
You should, they're a great fly shop and wonderful fishing.
what rod and gear are you using ??
I was using a nine foot for six weight rod but if I went again to do the same, would prefer a 10 foot for five or six weight. Good question
anyone else cringe at 6:40 when he doesn't wet the knot?
agreed, good thing to do
