I used to dance, so I've watched a stupid number of performances over the years with a critical eye, and the number of times I've said "I've never seen that before" while watching bts is ridiculous. They just ooze talent. But there is NO question that they work for it. I think the reason they are the best is that they PERSONALLY are very connected to every aspect of what they do... they are not simply a product. They work with the best people and they constantly hone their craft because they are truly invested.
I trained in dance for ten plus years and I agree with you wholeheartedly. This literally took their blood, sweat and tears. The guys are tight, have great lines, technically amazing, etc. But you can have dancers who dance perfectly but don’t look like BTS. BTS has something very unique.
@@SilverSeaOT7 yeah I think the "something" is how connected they are. When I discovered Kpop I was upset about how the idols were treated like a product, removing their autonomy and putting such massive pressure on them. But BigHit did something special with these guys. They were included in the process, they were given consistent team building exercises, etc. And I think one of the biggest things is that they were encouraged, through kind of a perfect storm of events, to remain humble both in the industry, and with each other. It's gone a long way to informing their success.
This is the dance practice by the lads that i show to non Armys and non kpop fans. This choreo is so difficult and it just shows how much work the guys put into their choreos. Also this choreo is just so sensual and sexy what i mean by this is the way the guys control their bodies (especially jimin) just is so powerful and you can tell what type of story and message they are trying to get across just by their movements and emotions they are showing

Performing and dancing on stage is their whole life since they were little! Jimin even still keeps repeating that he wants to be remembered as a great dancer first and foremost.

I think there wasn’t a single member who didn’t look sexy and elegant on this one, they were all amazing, for real, but Jimin and J Hope movements were really REALLY ->🔥🔥🤯🥵 Actually the MV of this was what made me really curious about the group and actually dive deep, there’s SO MANY extraordinary details!!!! The choreography (as everything you said), singing, clothes, props, lyrics, all the meanings and references... Just wow. 🤯 Too much talent and hard work showcased in less than 5 minutes
One of my favs. It's one that is almost impossible to properly cover because each of the members has their own way of dancing to it that really just seals the deal.
Should do “dope” that one has fast footwork and is so fun and groovy, “fake love” if you haven’t done it is beautiful and powerful and really feels like art... they’re so different but so impressive for both I think !

"stayed on the streets longer" I think you've misunderstood what "street dancing" is, it's a type of dancing with a lot of hip hop and various dance styles under it. It has improvisation and a lot of social type dances, things that were developed by people dancing outside of dance schools because there was racism that prevented many poc from entering dance schools at that time in history. @@annemayseyfried8907 yes that's fine I was just correcting your use of the term "on the street" and it's fine if english isn't your first language but the phrase isn't used to describe what you're describing, normally. Also it's not a competition, there is no need to compare the two dancers, even hobi studied many styles of dance at his dance school. The CEO has said he excelled at every style of dance they taught so he's not "just" a hip hop dancer which you seem to imply. Him and jimin are both great dancers with knowledge of many different dances and different preferences and styles when they dance. You can't compare their talent or history. Like, Hobi ONLY studied dance as his focus & passion and Jimin split his focus into many sports, club activities and worked as class president which cut down on his time to practice dance. See we can phrase these things how we like to make either sound good, we don't need to do that! The truth is they're both exceptional. There is no need to aggressively compare them. 💜
@@mimilapin Aggressively?? JHope's often praised/respected as Main Dancer because hip-hop's more popular than modern dance, tho he can dance diff.styles, but he unselfishly allows others to shine while he's incredible + should have much more center time so newbies can appreciate his skills. Jimin's often underestimated/not respected as much as JHope cuz they think he's "just" a contemporary dancer but that many newbies don't know/respect that he's an incredible all-around dancer + should have time to show his many diff. skills. JHope helps teach choreos + Jimin helps him help teach choreos. They are the 2 best dancers in KPop, imo, w/Taemin +Kai right behind. JHope's confident/outgoing/dances at he drop of a hat + easy to see how great he is. Jimin's outgoing/yet shy + not always easy to see ow great he is, unless asked, so I prob. tend to push for more of his skills visibilities, but both are incredible.

Jimin also did pre-teen street Freestyle poppin'/hip-hop ("down" muscles) + then to a dance school learned even more, also won battles on smaller scale than JHope, then went to (Top Student) Dance School/Scholarship +majored in contemporary ("up" muscles) +other styles for nearly 2yrs from 14-16 (also was continueing> Top Student at Martial Arts School/Scholarship + excelelled in Sports-on many teams), then audititioned/Busan at 15 + came to Seoul at 16 to train w/Big Hit while continueing high school there. It was fun finding out about them, little snippets of info here +there, from their own words in interviess in Korea+ Japan +vogs, etc💜
Jimin's outgoing/yet shy + not always easy to see ow great he is, unless asked, so I prob. tend to push for more of his skills visibilities, but both are incredible.

hi! two ways to do this aside from potentially banned from incessant commenting.
1. become a request tier patron. patreon.com/emeroyb

why so much cutting
experimenting with new style of editing where I trim out the parts where i don't talk. how do u feel about it?
