You sir made me tear up a bit. My dad was one of the original designers of the Fiero. He spent years trying to make it like it was originally intended not like what it became. He drove the first one off the line. Me and my family were all there for it. We had brown shirts with gold Fiero logo saying Proud Member of the Fiero Family. He owned around 10 at one time. I’m immensely impressed. I sent it to my dad to watch. I can’t wait for his reaction!

A quick message from the future... If you are here just starting to watch this series for the first time... you lucky sob ....stick with it, it is immense. Congrats Ronnie Finger on a great project and a great series, f**king amazing dude.
Thank you sir! I just found this channel today and I got messages from recent videos saying to go watch this series...judging by the number of views and all the positive comments it got, I can't wait!
I’m two minutes in and I had to pause just to comment this. You are such a good story teller. Please never stop making videos. You have me so hype about a car I’ve never even heard of and I can’t wait to watch more. RUclips videos, documentaries, movies. Do them all please!!
How does a person dislike this? It's a story about a person with sentimental drive and will do what needs to be done to complete the job. Good luck in everything that needs done!
They are literally the trolls of the internet, That have literally no life, So they go random video to video, Just disliking and making bad comments, Some 35 year old fat ass that sits in his moms basement in the dark with legit, Nothing better to do in his life.
Maybe it's just me, but I find it very pleasing to the eye - not a lot of unnecessary "stuff", just clean elegant lines. I wish you well with your project!
Had one, ran great and gave me no troubles till some a hole stole it. Did not get my car back since the guy wrecked it. Only good part for me: the guy died in the crash, served him well.
My mother bought one of these. Specifically a 1985 Fiero 2M4. She still drives it. It is in pampered condition, garaged, dusted after every drive and any repair needed done properly (I myself repaired the passenger light drive). It's 2019, and her car has been kept in the most pristine driving condition conceivable even to this day. It is still in the family- a one owner car.
One year ago I said “I’ll come back in a couple months to this channel to see how it’s doing”...one year later I found this channel again and I’m not disappointed about how it’s progressed. SUBBED
This is so awesome. I’m 16 and my first car was a fiero. And I now have two... these cars have taught me everything I know about cars and I love how they look. Great video
5:00 Uplifting music, wonderfully nostalgic voice-over... And a Fiero digging two WWI trenches through some dude's yard because the rear wheels locked up but it's being dragged by a tractor. Beautiful.
For anyone working on interior that's moldy like this I've cleaned several this bad by using white vinegar, poured on a shop rag straight from the jug and start wiping and it'll come off while killing the mold. May have to do it a couple of times to make sure you've got it all. Works great.
I'd say the GT doesn't really count due to it being a kit car, like others mentioned, and just the fact that its production numbers were obviously very small. Teslas... that's a bit more of a pedantic kind of thing, because when you really think about it, aren't the motors in line with the axles? The "mid" part is not so much the motors, but the batteries. It's more like having the gas tank in the middle instead of under the trunk. They'd be kind of in their own category, I guess. "Bottom-engined"?
Clark Griswold you’re not kidding First off for history I only mess and have only driven 1970’s very early 80’s Chevys my entire life. The newest car I have had and only GM was a 2002 Cadillac. My daily is a 1978 c-10 So I can do everything from engine rebuild to timing chains / cylinder heads ... what ever. My aunt bought a cool black fiero back in the 1980’s . She moved to Orlando / winter park Florida , about 16 years later she offered to give it to me when I was 19 But all the tires/ rubber seals and the plastic on the vehicle had dry rotted , the brakes had fused to the rotors and had so much mold and mossy shit on it that it was basically ruined. These are a money pit and the body parts are not easy to find. Now 20 years later I’m glad I never took that car. It would have been a night mere
Totally agree Clark! This car was a POS even when it was brand new, he definitely has guts‼️😂🤣😂👍🏼👍🏼 Subscribed if just to hear the great CUSS WORDS you’ll be spewing during the resto‼️😂🤣👍🏼
H. Martín de'Campo absolutely not a POS. There were a few issues when the first came out but recalls took care of that. My 84 fiero is very reliable and I drive it whenever I can. It is very well made and feels very solid. Was awarded the second safest car in 84 right behind a Volvo. These cars don’t get the respect they deserve
My dad bought a 1984 fiero a few years ago, in pretty rough shape. The original engine was completely seized and isn’t worth fixing, so an identical replacement engine was being put it, but abandoned about halfway through, I’m from Canada so the frame is completely rusted out. Since he’s bought it it’s sat in a shed forgotten about, I think this video has inspired me to go make that my project car.
This is inspiring, I'm 17 and I'm working on a project car myself. A 1973 Datsun 240z. Although mine was in better condition. It's hard for me because I still attend highschool and I can only get $250-$300 every two weeks. The engine rebuild kit is 400 and the carburetor rebuild kit is 200-300. Not only that but I need to get and entire exaust system and tires. I hope to lower and get fender flares and maybe one day a body kit, but it's taken alot to get me where I am now. I'm still working on the car and I got it in January.
@@seanmcnally4392Passenger side floor was rusted, cut it out and welded steel plates to it, front right fender is rusted where the battery would leak down. The common rust areas
Most 17 year olds in my high school don’t even know how to change a tire or do a oil change, much less rebuild an engine. Best of luck on your project car!
This is how I feel about the Porsche 924. It was my first car. Pop up headlights. First water-cooled Porsche. You just gave me a whole different perspective on these Pontiac Fieros. This was a really great video man.
It's refreshing to see a guy in his early 20's to actually have some smarts. I am amazed that you know how to use a floor jack, jack stands, the blocks of wood under the car, and how to use all of that safely. I am going to follow the journey and I hope you can get that Fiero up and running. Best of luck!!
I can't believe that s guy sold that beautiful car because he was worried about door dings only to dig this thing out of a twenty year old mud hole most likely his stupid friends were jealous b cause that car looks like a ferrari and clowning him out about owning a fiero of never understood why people made fun of that car nobody likes sports cars or is it because the cars name ends in the letter o I bet if it were named something like GT turbo
@@naturalsettings7098 $900 for a 1993? damn that's alot, perhaps im just a cheap fuck.... this is what i've bought, restored, fixed, you get the point, and im only 23 years old. a 1993 Impreza for $450, a 1989 Subaru GL for $500, a 1983 Subaru GL Hatchback for $400, a 1980 Subaru Brat for $750, a 1979 Subaru Wagon for $60, a 1970 AMC Gremlin for $625, a 1968 Peugeot 404 for $250 and 5 parts cars vehicles which were from $150-$300 each to feed parts to various vehicles. also those are all in order of purchasing since 2012, i just keep going older and older, alittle afraid of the 6Volt cars now that i've reached that point......
Thanks for the explanation. I was a younger man when this car came out, and I knew two young ladies who had the engine fire within three months of each other. You know the old saying about "first impression," well unfortunately the engine fires and mediocre performance didn't help matters much. I watched your videos and I'm completely blown away at your energy, patience and mechanical ability. Thanks for sharing your passion and knowledge with the rest of us "wanna be" tinkerers! Loved watching you bring back to life the Kawa GPz 1000, I raced one very briefly and seeing your video brought back a lot of great memories. Love your channel Ronald...keep em coming!
One of the neatest 80's cars ever being showcased on one of the best revival/restoration vids I've ever seen. I can still remember the hottest girl in our high school driving a 86' Fiero and snubbing her nose at everyone else. 10 years after high school I saw her at a Godfather's Pizza and said "hi". She weighed an easy 200lbs, had three dirty, obnoxious kids with no father to be seen and she hilariously bragged about working her way up to assistant manager at Blockbuster. You gotta love Karma and you gotta love the Fiero.
I'm sorry, you expect a child's father to be within eyeshot at all times or else they have no father? I also like how you assumed the kids were always unwashed and always misbehaving/bad kids from just seeing them once at a glance. I also don't know what's shameful about her job? It seems obvious that she decided to become a mother instead of persuing a college degree/professional career. Maybe she was forced to pick up a crappy job to support her family, and becoming a manager was actually a step she never saw herself achieving at that job. FFS. I can tell you posted this comment feeling like it was a classic feel-good story about a bully getting what they deserved, but you kind of just posted the most mysoginistic post in this comments section. Also for the record, men are statistially horrible at guessing what women weigh. I bet she weighed no more than 170 and this guy can't estimate for shit.
No idea what the algorithms at youtube were thinking. Is a good video, but youtube is pushing it at everyone for some reason. Almost like it's a promoted video. Many pros struggle to reach or have never reached 2m views.
I drooled over these cars when they came out. I was 16 in 1984 and each year they got better. I had a used 1978 Oldsmobile Omega instead with a Buick 231 V6. If I were to buy one or the other today and fix it up, I'm not sure which one I would prefer.
As an student 1995, I Journeyed to Canada. I was 22 and bought a red Fiero for 1200 Canadian dollar. I drove the whole Ontario with that. I wish You the best.
Ty for the video I had an 86 as my first car in 1997. I fell in love with it and I will never forget it. It also taught me how to drive in the rain and snow lol
I will definetly follow your series on this one. Mostly because you are a "happy amateur" in the sense that you say yourself that you haven't got much experience in renovating cars, and then the fact that it's a 1985 Fiero. A car i have personally never seen with my own eyes, and more importantly a nice break from everyone renovating super-rare '50s sports cars or exclusive '60s luxury cars. A nice, normal dude working on a normal car. Very interesting!
I saved my money in high school and drooled over this car in 1983 before it came out. Loved the look of it from the front. I bought a brand new one in 1984 after I graduated , you could only order it in Red or White. I ordered Red. Car spent lots of time at the dealership for clutch issues. Traded it in 1986. Luckily, it was such a rare car in my small town. I made out okay. Always wanted to find one to mod and relive my past. Good Luck!
I love the Fiero's styling and I can appreciate someone who has taken on sort of a role of appreciating the cars that aren't very appreciated or are somewhat disliked, I'm that way with the Edsel models and the AMC Gremlin and Pacer
I'm not a big fan of the Fiero, but it makes me really happy to see someone bring a car back to life instead of leaving it to rot! Can't wait to watch the rest of the series keep it up! 👍
My dad owned 4 of them. From base to gt. He used to brag about the lady's and how they loved it too. Lol. Love you pop and miss you like crazy. Rip and happy father's day...
I commend your love for this car no matter what people think about the Fiero. Fiero has always been a car that I've admired even though I've never owned one. Instead I fell in love with the Firebird after buying my first one, a 1980 Firebird. Since then I've owned a 1986 Trans Am with the 305 TPI engine (swapped out myself with a 350 TPI engine, which was my first engine rebuild) and I now own a 1991 Firebird that I purchased from the original owner and only has 130k miles on the all original equipment.
IMHO Fiero makes a way better ride as far as weight distribution. The bigger cars needed big heavy motors to push weight ( not that Fiero's are light by any means).
Glad you get to work on and restore a car that means so much to you. My father owned at 2000 Toyota Tacoma when I was younger and I fell in love with the car, he sold it a number of years ago but recently we came into the possession of a 2001 model. The inside had been stuffed to the brim with wet papers and cat feces/urine, and rotten food had been stuffed in the back. Luckily the engine ran fine and surprisingly it only had 33k miles on it. Unfortunately, we don't have the space you guys do to work on it so we had to let it go, but maybe in the future, I'll be able to pick one up and fix it up like you've done.
I graduated from high school in 1988. for my graduation present my grandparents bought me a slightly used 1985 Pontiac fiero. in the first year that I owned it I put 75,000 miles on it.(I live in New Jersey. I drove all the way down to Florida, and headed straight out to California, up to Washington State, then I went South through North Dakota South Dakota Utah in the Wyoming and Yellowstone national Park, then I drove from there straight to Buffalo New York. then I drove to Niagara falls, and then I drove back down through New York City and then came back to New Jersey and this whole trip took about three months in a Pontiac fiero made in 1985 I absolutely was in love with that car.
@@jasonswift7098 hey dumbass, the OP said he added 75,000 in one year and all that driving he did was easily 20 something thousand miles. All the driving he mentioned was in a 3 month time frame leaving 9 months more to rack up the extra miles.
"What makes you happy will never be wrong." Well said. Love the project and I understand completely, there's no rational reason for why we want the things we want!! lol
Good job finding a diamond in the rough. Really rough! But that is where treasures are found. Also, I am very impressed with the work you have done so far. It isn't easy getting seized brakes to come loose... especially after years of rust built up. You will be a car resto expert before you know it! Keep it up!
Thomas Smith...the only thing that keeps this from being a barn find, is no barn!! One owner, 99% complete, and new parts for this thing laying on every street corner! Might be rough finding a door panel, but every one has a new 2.5l iron duke sitting around!! I just wonder how much 3D printing would be needed to completely restore that dumpster, ahhhh I mean interior? I have a feeling that homemade parts for this beast, are in the plans!
My first car was a '84 Fiero & I saved & paid for it myself, along with insurance when I was 15. Naturally the kids at high school I went to looked down on it & me & was constantly keyed, let air out of tires, & graffiti over and over(most of kids had parents that bought them Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, etc etc....). Kids can be so cruel! When I bought this for $200 it had no calipers or breaks & engine issues. Like you, was bought as a project car for my dad & me to work on. We had everything "mostly" completed in 3 mos & ready for me to drive to school so long ago! This brings back memories & my car was red as well. Had 12 speakers inside this little car, lol. After driving it for 2 yrs I had to sell it because wasn't possible to drive in the winters in northern USA & needed a daily😞. I do so miss that little red car, was so fun to drive & mess around with👍🏻 Thx for the vid & memories. Cheers☺️
Thanks for comments. Also, I went to a very "well to do" school with most kids having lawyers, doctors, bankers, etc for parents...& therefore the kids were given bmw, Mercedes, jaguar, land rover, Infiniti, etc...as 16 bday gifts. Every Scholl has those "prep better then everyone" class of kids; my school was just different in that 88-92% if kids were that class; & I was in middle& paid for my car and had a job, omg, I know right, lol..... I also was oldest in my class & drove before anyone else...do not sure if ess part of it. Who knows, kids are cruel at that age. Just sucked that spent from 11(first job) to 15 (had job still) saving my money for a car & ins(parents couldn't pay for anything, so if reached car and ins, I had to pay myself. 15 yr old with that red car...ins want cheap) & wishing on it week after week all summer before school started 9th grade, & was so proud of that car. First day keyed, black spray paint, & Bolognese all over it. Kids can be cruel.... Again, Thx for comment. Have great night, A
Aepek well karma is a Bitch and those kids are gonna get it. Your the one that’s going to be successful and live a good life. Never let those subhuman POShits get you down.
Aepek that’s weird I go to (not tryna brag lol) arguably the best high school in my country and 70% of students have reallyyyy rich parents, but pretty much everyone tries to get a job at 16 and you’re more respected if you work than if you’re given everything by your parents. Also having a car like that would be sick, everyone just buys Golfs, 2 Series, A3’s , A classes, etc having something out of the norm can actually get you mad clout lol. Some guy at our school has an old beat up Nissan 4x4 always full of mud and everyone loves it lol. One teacher has an old blue TVR and everyone loves it as well. Different mentalities I guess.
I had an 85 GT. I was the third owner. Bought it for $1500 in 1995. It has 113,000 miles on it. It spun a rod bearing two months after I bought it. "Get rid of it and swallow the loss, or fix it?"... I rented a garage and started the long process of bring her back to life. Freezing cold in the winter, sweltering heat and humidity in Missouri in summer. What I thought would take a couple of months took 14 months in total. Working on it after my day job, weekends. A couple coworkers and two of my brothers helped occasionally. Eventually I rebuilt the engine, new pistons, rings, crankshaft, everything. Fired it up and after adjustments, she purred like a kitten. Had it painted because of course the clear-coat had been damaged and there was exposed body. Discovered something though,.The 6 cylinder was not a big improvement over the 4. Friends had told me to put a turbo in it. Were they going to pay for that? No. Eventually the car became a bit of a "garage queen". I never knew what would break on it next. So I sold it for $2000 in early 1999. More than I paid for it, but of course the cost of parts and purchasing tools was more than that. Good thing I worked at an auto-parts store. A year and a half ago, I bought a 1999 Mazda Miata for $2000. It had 67,000 miles. I've put an additional 30,000 on it since. Other than replacing the tires after a year of "fun" and oil changes, I have had no problems with this 20 year old car. It is a great car! When the American designers of the Miata presented their concept for a British inspired sports car to Mazda, the heads of the company decided that a inter-company competition would best determine the future of a small convertible they would produce. The American team's design was of course a front engine, rear drive 2 seat convertible. Two competing Japanese design departments went completely different routes. One had a front wheel drive 2-seater, and the other had a mid engine design that looks suspiciously like an abandoned American sports car from Pontiac. Mazda chose the initial American design thankfully. I do have a soft spot for Fiero's and its connection with the later Saturn brand. I just wish that they hadn't been built as a compromise. They could have been great. But honestly, they are junk.
Seeing this video for a second time, I feel inspired to eventually have a project like this with a 69 Firebird. Thank you Ronald for sharing your passion for mechanics.
ron i got to tell ya, i have got mad respect for you. i love that you dont half ass anything. i would let you work on my cars in a min, and mind you i dont let anybody touch my cars ! you done a great job on that old torn up pontiac. keep up the good work, your a good wrench ! cant wait to see what you do next.

Excellent excellent editing and narration!! I dare say it outdoes mine by a mile. 3. Im reallllyyy hoping you guys did a first start on this thing!! Congratulations, you've figured out the magic formula for getting RUclips views too! Shameless Plugs on other related content. Kidding! I don't mind that at all, I have a following too (oops a plug here too?! super meta) and sometimes highly relevant material turns my head and I leave my mark too. Not in this case though, I don't make restoration vids so it's not relevent. But keep up the good work, 250k subs isn't half bad!!
This very much reminds me of my first car. It was in massive disrepair, but ran; kinda. I bought a '92 Ford Probe GL. Like the Fiero it was looked down on by a lot of people, but I didn't care. I Love that car. Bringing a car back from the scrap-heap to be a functioning bad-ass head-turner is amazingly rewarding, and makes you appreciate your vehicle greatly. I enjoyed watching your re-build tremendously. Thank you.
I salute you, young man, for your deep knowledge of the Fiero history. I had Fieros all my adult live since the very beginning. I ordered my first one brand new in 1984, had to wait 5 months to get my base 2M4, no options but a Am/Fm cassette radio and the sun roof. Drove it 12 months/year, in rain, heavy snow for 8 years 'till T-boned by a drunk. Bought an exact copy badly used and rebuilt it with my previous one as parts car. Had it for 3 years. Now I have a mint 1988 GT, my precious car. Still in deep love. I can say I know Fieros in and out, doing my own maintenance. Good luck my young friend with your project ! PS Your '85 most probably have the Isuzu sourced 5 speed trans. Not strong enough to handle the 2.8 V6 torque. You could quite easily a swap engine/trans from a 1987 model, including the ECU for cheap. Simple bolt on job...
If that squirrel isn't still there.... You can turn his house into an Air B&B! A coworker of mine had purchased the same car and it was in HORRIBLE shape! I didn't know much about these until he was telling me about them. Cool ideas! Happily, this is the first a series I'm starting tonight so lets binge this Pontiac revival! Even John Delorean would be proud!
Tbh I know why they recommended it to me, I just didn’t want to watch it cuz I knew I’d like it and probably get addicted to the series. But here I am anyways smh fuck my weak mind😂

@@1leech original engine with modiifications to the exhaust cover manifold, also a steel heat shield put in around the starter.. We had more problems with the rear suspension than anything else, but my midnight dance with a matress discarded on I-10 had alot to do with those problems.. Ended up selling it for 1000 bucks in 1997 and watched it drive away.
I had an 85 2M6 SE. I bought it for $3k with 110k on it. Drove it to 200k and sold it for $3K to buy an 85 corvette. I should have kept the Fiero. Far nicer driving car except for the power but had I known a 3800sc would drop right in it would have easily been a corvette beater.
I had a black '86 2M4 that I sold for the same reason. The Fiero wasn't very practical anyway, and certainly not a family car, but I've always regretted selling it. I would love to have that car back again. I'd also love to be 20 years old again, but owning another Fiero is something that could actually happen one day (Maybe a 2M6 this time though.. or one converted to a V8 engine like I always wanted to do). People can say what they like about the Fiero. I never stopped loving that car. (edit) Actually watching the video now - I forgot those anti-theft lug nuts! And gosh, seeing that interior has brought back a flood of memories - not least among them, the case for all my casette tapes that I kept behind the driver's seat with only JUST enough space to slide the seat back again, pinning the case against the body. lol
Cool project young man. I remember these cars way back when . Had no need for one as I had a family then. I do remember stories that they are so perfectly balanced, that when sliding down an icy road, they would spin in near perfect 360's down the center of the road and not go into the ditch. LOL. IDK about all that for sure....I'm a southern Californian and only put ice in my drinks, not on the road. Not sure why people in other parts of the country chose to put ice on the road.....but whatever. LOL. Be safe!!

It's a good story about a really crappy car
Alot of it is from RUclips putting it in peoples recommended feed. So people will dislike to stop similar from the recommended.

Honestly speaking it's a great hobby restoring a classic car. Takes you way back to the 80s. NICE!!!
Maybe it's just me, but I find it very pleasing to the eye - not a lot of unnecessary "stuff", just clean elegant lines.
I wish you well with your project!

I wish modern design would return to more clean design like this. Volvo and Mazda are the only ones doing it now.
I 100% agree with you!
It looks very Japanese or European, pretty sick
Yeah it looks like a Japanese sports car designed with inspiration from European sports/super cars. @@blanco7726
Ive owned 3 different red '85 Fieros in my life, all 3 didn't run when I bought them, and all 3 didn't run when I sold them lol
Had one, ran great and gave me no troubles till some a hole stole it.
Did not get my car back since the guy wrecked it. Only good part for me: the guy died in the crash, served him well.

I was gonna do your current bike build but I saw the fiero playlist and it called to me. Got me through some bad days. Thanks, dude.
Great video
Awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
Mako PM love my 84 fiero as well. I definitely prefer the 84 looks wise vs the other years.
5:00 Uplifting music, wonderfully nostalgic voice-over... And a Fiero digging two WWI trenches through some dude's yard because the rear wheels locked up but it's being dragged by a tractor. Beautiful.
If you restore this thing, you are a legend.

For anyone working on interior that's moldy like this I've cleaned several this bad by using white vinegar, poured on a shop rag straight from the jug and start wiping and it'll come off while killing the mold. May have to do it a couple of times to make sure you've got it all. Works great.
Thank you for this very helpful tip.
I'm sure it would work, but how long did it stink?
It's just as moldy behind the dash and under every panel. You have to completely disassemble the interior and you will still never get it all.
In addition, wear a mask or respirator.
As I say "Aw yeah" to myself the car just bricks off the trailer and smacks into it on the way down. Fabulous start, boys, keep her going!
"Next few months"
Oh boy, are you in for a treat
"Only mid-engined car mass produced in America, and likely ever will be"

"Why can't you just be normal?!"
(screams in Pontiac Fiero)
@Josef dosRemedios As there were less than 30 built, that hardly qualifies as a mass produced vehicle.

They were also basically kit cars because they were still titled as an Elise after the conversion
Also Teslas, arguably.
You got balls man to even tackle that, good luck and I'll follow!
Clark Griswold you’re not kidding
First off for history I only mess and have only driven 1970’s very early 80’s Chevys my entire life. The newest car I have had and only GM was a 2002 Cadillac. My daily is a 1978 c-10 So I can do everything from engine rebuild to timing chains / cylinder heads ... what ever.
My aunt bought a cool black fiero back in the 1980’s . She moved to Orlando / winter park Florida , about 16 years later she offered to give it to me when I was 19
But all the tires/ rubber seals and the plastic on the vehicle had dry rotted , the brakes had fused to the rotors and had so much mold and mossy shit on it that it was basically ruined. These are a money pit and the body parts are not easy to find.
Now 20 years later I’m glad I never took that car. It would have been a night mere
100% brass balls
Totally agree Clark! This car was a POS even when it was brand new, he definitely has guts‼️😂🤣😂👍🏼👍🏼 Subscribed if just to hear the great CUSS WORDS you’ll be spewing during the resto‼️😂🤣👍🏼
God damn you basically gave him our blessing from behalf of the entire internet here man, with a backhanded good luck lol. 😂😂😂
It is refreshing to see a car restoration without 20 minutes of fake drama and guys with tattoos arguing like middle school girls.

Those are the easy fixes, how's the rust. Had a 78 280Z and the rust was unbelievable. Good luck.

I recently fell in love with the fiero because it's a wedge with pop up headlights. You don't see those anymore. Would love to own one someday.
You did a fantastic job on this Pontiac!! You have inspired thousands of people to fix/restore their cars too.
Really respect what you said about pursuing a project because it’s what you’re passionate about, and not because of what other people think.
I finally gave in and clicked on the video. Wasn't disappointed :)
It's just about a POS Fiero

No idea what the algorithms at youtube were thinking. Is a good video, but youtube is pushing it at everyone for some reason. Almost like it's a promoted video. Many pros struggle to reach or have never reached 2m views.
Me too
I drooled over these cars when they came out.

Your narration:great
Your look on cars:beautiful,
Your channel; amazing
I saved my money in high school and drooled over this car in 1983 before it came out. Loved the look of it from the front. I bought a brand new one in 1984 after I graduated , you could only order it in Red or White. I ordered Red. Car spent lots of time at the dealership for clutch issues. Traded it in 1986. Luckily, it was such a rare car in my small town. I made out okay. Always wanted to find one to mod and relive my past. Good Luck!
I love the Fiero's styling
and I can appreciate someone who has taken on sort of a role of appreciating the cars that aren't very appreciated or are somewhat disliked, I'm that way with the Edsel models and the AMC Gremlin and Pacer

I do so miss that little red car, was so fun to drive & mess around with👍🏻
Thx for the vid & memories. Cheers☺️
Aepek why did kids disrespect the Fiero? It looks nice in my opinion. I’m sorry for the ignorance, I’m European haha.
Blanco a lot of kids these days don’t care about how a car looks. To them if it’s old... then it’s junk.
I just found this series and I'm hooked... Subscribed!

Honestly, I have always enjoyed the style of it. My friend back in the day had one and we felt cool when we took it out.

Good luck on this project. These came out when I was just getting my license in high school and I remember thinking they were so cool.
Whatever car you choose for a project, is the right one. The sentimental ones are the best.
The Fiero actually is a very beautiful car
yes, if your brain is a meatball
Yeah it is
I wish they made a targa to model
If that squirrel isn't still there.... You can turn his house into an Air B&B! A coworker of mine had purchased the same car and it was in HORRIBLE shape! I didn't know much about these until he was telling me about them. Cool ideas! Happily, this is the first a series I'm starting tonight so lets binge this Pontiac revival! Even John Delorean would be proud!
you should have PERSUED YOUR DREAM AS A SPACE FIREMAN
Why you say that he is still very young
Thinking there’s no oxygen in space that job may have been a do nothing job for sure.
Lol
Exactly! @@disneyjoe7
@@RayTheomo Definitely! Kids gonna make a killin'!
OK fine RUclips recommend I'll watch it
I caved in😂
I do want to see how this goes gotta appreciate a passion project
@@johnnylobatojr9274 me too!
been in my rec list for weeks,......
Tbh I know why they recommended it to me, I just didn’t want to watch it cuz I knew I’d like it and probably get addicted to the series. But here I am anyways smh fuck my weak mind😂
Thank you for telling me so much about the fiero. Thanks man
Re-watching as I'm ordering the last parts for my rebuild. Hope I'm not the only one.
Cool video dude! I'm not sure why I decided to watch this...but I really like your enthusiasm to bring this Fiero back to life! Because of that, and you seem like a cool dude...I subscribed!
I thought this car was the best most futuristic thing ever back in the 80s when I was a kid. Always wanted one.
I had a white 1985 Fiero GT with the ground effects package and put 211,000 miles on it before having kids made me get rid of it. My favorite car of all time and have never had another quite like it...
How many engines did you try to get 211k??
Fry not try. Fuckin' autocorrect.
And gosh, seeing that interior has brought back a flood of memories - not least among them, the case for all my casette tapes that I kept behind the driver's seat with only JUST enough space to slide the seat back again, pinning the case against the body. lol
My neighbor drove this car, same color, in high school. A few years later my sister bought the Toyota MR 2. It brings back good memories!
YES! Finally I found a series like this, ive always wanted people to make a series where they pimp their car!!!!!
thank you
I see you have a clean mr2, I’m seeing a pattern.... affordable fun midengine sports cars! I like it!
Great video documentation. I was thinking of the Fiero today actually and this video, out of the blue, came up in my recommended videos. Bravo.
Really enjoyed this. Haven’t watched all yet, but I will. Now I want a Fiero!
Wow, just washing it raised it's value from $100 to that initial $400 the guy wanted for it!
Pretty sure he said 800$ I cant be bothered to check though lmao.
@Broken Casanova Exactly.
LOL. Be safe!!
Thats not exactly us putting ice on the road......thats what happens when you piss Elsa off and live in the northern US.
LOVED my 86' notchback!!! It was like a go-cart on steroids!
Ronald, the production value of your last episode, is noticeably better than your first.
