Thank you for this well made video. But a heads up for other CR-V owners, this video is for the made in Japan CR-V. If your VIN starts with SHS your CR-V was made in Great Britain and the lock, actuator, and plastic inner lock rod guide is different.
This is so true because I have the Japanese spec in Jamaica and I bought the actuator from the UK not knowing there's a big difference between the two, so people please check before you buy.
THANK YOU!! You're the only video on youtube that shows in detail on how to reinstall the door panel. I had a hell of a time trying to fit it back on over the lock tab and lip but after watching this and following your advice I was able to reinstall it in 30 seconds :)
Thank you! This really helped me complete the job. You made the door handle rod removal look deceptively easy. At least on mine, it nearly took breaking the handle assembly to remove it. I added a little lubricant and it finally came out 225k miles on the original. The only residual issue is it’s a bit more firm to unlock with the key manually. It’s worth checking that things are functioning as they should before putting the whole door panel back on. Took me about two hours. I think it could easily be done in an hour or less if everything goes smoothly.
Great video. I tried other videos before finding this one, which is much better. Thank you, especially for the section at 9:16. I had reconnected the rod improperly the first time and this showed me the correct way!
Thank you for this video. About to start the work on three doors (both rear and front right). Would be 600€+ in a repair shop. Actuators cost 39€ for a set of four

Any tips on what the differences are? Thx!

Also, by far the best video available on the job.
Great video! The door handle rod got me stuck for a few hours and the position in the assembly @9:27 had me!
Love the detail in this video, very well done. I have to replace the actuator in the front/right door. This video will be a great help.

Very nicely done. My 2004 door looks a bit different, but it's all more or less the same thing. Thanks much!
Love this video! However I have a question… if you were to snap off a plastic clip on the door panel what should you do?
Thank you so much for this video. It saved me so much money! Excellent detailed instructions.

Well done........very thorough!
How do I know if I have the black actuator or the white actuator, they are different parts.
Is this the same video I started watching before I fell asleep, it’s not that it’s not informative it’s just I have no idea what is going on. lol 😂
1:45 he broke the tab by jabbing it with a screwdriver. You should use your fingers to gently twist it off the bar instead.
Yess problem solved thank you sir
Wow this looks like it will be extremely annoying. Might just pay someone to do mine.
Ty
Can this video help me unstuck my key in the lock?
I did all my best, I replaced the actuator even the cabling, and I checked, the fuses too, I don’t know what is my problem!
At 5:29 you remove a white plastic part. What it is that? I broke mine and need to get a replacement. Thanks.
