    This is EXACTLY the video I needed to see. RUclips just knows me so well. Thank you for making this. I don’t like the feeling of how exp agents always feel like they’re recruiting me.

    A few questions: what does real provide for training for new agents? Are there enough around to be in person mentors for new agents?
    What is the “culture” you enjoy at real?
    Who are you able to contact for questions? Like in exp world you can go to the Broker room to ask questions.
    Thanks for any insights you can share!

      Real has a program in Real Academy for new agents. Live and recorded training. As for answering questions, my state broker is a great resource. Also, there is an amazing culture of sharing. If you know of someone who is an expert in a certain field, you can reach right out to them. People are so warm and welcoming.

      We have over 200+ online classes all agents will get instant access to when they join including a 12 part new agent series. We also have between 25-30 live streams every week you can join in including a monthly new agent Q&A. The culture is awesome and focused on collaboration and community and being kind. For questions, we have a 24/7 support number and email address you can contact. You also have your brokers contact info and can reach out to them directly, you also have your sponsor and the REAL Broker community through workplace you can connect with.

    Who is your broker when you join? Also what is the role of the sponsor and is there a fee or split with the sponsor? If not, how is the sponsor incentivized?

    • @next-genagents7731
      @next-genagents7731  3 месяца назад

      So each state has at least one local broker, some states have multiple. No additional cost to have a sponsor and we can be an additional resource for you, help you get settled into REAL and answer questions you have. Let's schedule a video call and we can talk more.

    Does real still require you to be an active agent and have sales in order to receive your revenue share? Or did they change that?

    • @next-genagents7731
      @next-genagents7731  2 месяца назад

      You do need to be a "producing agent' to receive rev share at REAL. You need to earn at least $3,000 in commissions every 6 months, this can be in the form of referral checks, rentals, team leader splits, or sales. They do have a "retirement plan' where you can step out of production and still receive your rev share if you have been a producing agent for at least 3 years.

    $129 per deal transaction fee after you already paid $12,000 and $285 transaction fee until "elite" status. For a team doing 500+ deals a year that is crazy

    So that's fast forward four months after this video was filmed. Like Melanie I'm an Icon Agent at eXp and a member of Proximity Partners. Last week the founder of Proximity Partners left and went to Real Broker. The local group that sponsored me at eXp is leaving as well. Since they are my sponsor I can't go join another group because I'm not in their upline. I have been very successful at eXp and happy but one issue is the "tribalism" between the different groups. I do think that Real not allowing you to offer anything to join and name them as a sponsor is a good thing. Also Real allows you to name two sponsors so you could potentially have two sponsors in two different groups. If one of them leaves it's not as big of a deal. In my situation others in our organization promised to replace everything we had in Proximity Partners this week so in the long run everything may be fine but it was a shock for all of us.

      Oh wow. That is the challenge of that model at eXp. If the person you joined under decides to leave, or just stop or has unflattering law suites against them, your stuck in that downline. I do like REAL's model how you get training from everyone and get full access to a community of 14,000+ agents, not primarily just the smaller network you join. Feel free to schedule a video call with me if you ever want to explore your options.

    In REAL, do all team members get credit for Community Events?

    • @next-genagents7731
      @next-genagents7731  3 месяца назад

      So if they have a half cap, they are not eligible for Elite Agent status, they would have to pay the full $12k cap to get it or be on a marketing group to get Elite Agent. But if the team member is doing community activities as well, yeah, I would think that would count.

    At Real, if an agent doesn’t do 3 deals, say zero deals, does the agent have to pay the $750?

    • @next-genagents7731
      @next-genagents7731  5 месяцев назад +1

      Nope. You only pay that if you have money coming in.

    Malcolm, does REAL provide co-working space similar to Regus?

    • @next-genagents7731
      @next-genagents7731  6 месяцев назад

      No, the company it self does not. Most agents work from home or rent their own office spaces. There are even teams who rent out large office spaces and will often rent desk or offer their office to other REAL agents though.

      I am leaning more toward REAL, In the marketing category, do they (Local or Statewide brokers) provide say email blast lists by geo area for blasting Open House flyers to other agents? ...or must the agent get those? Great Videos btw.@@next-genagents7731

    80/20 is too high of a split, these online brokerages are not worth it
