Here in germany a lot of youtuber and influencer had massive lawsuits from designer brands against them because they used that word. Especially while showing or naming the original product. I don´t know if that could be the same case in the US.
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 I think they can use the word "alternative". I´m not sure how it works with the english language, but a dupe would be an illegal copy. At least I think so. I´m not into competition and trademark law.

Advent calendars are made as a countDOWN to Christmas. Where you'd start on the 1st of December at number 24...being 24 days until Christmas.
