I've never heard of this company before. I love candles, especially in the fall and winter. You got some wonderful scents- foodie candles are my favorite! Enjoy... hugs, Tina

Hi Tina! Kringle has been around for a few years. Based out of Mass. County Candle is their new line. I'm such a candle junkie.LOL. I tend to lean towards food/bakers/fruit/sweet, however, I do enjoy pine in the winter. Have a great evening! Gretchen

Was excited to see you ordered these! I had to check the Country Candles out as soon as I got their email. Had Cozy Christmas in my cart too (but have to wait to try it)! The Kittridge family must have retained a lot of their intellectual property & formulas, I'm thinking. Can you fit an Illuma Lid (dome or flat) on top of the large jar? Good choices, & thanks so much for sharing!🍂🌲

Yes, an Illumi Lid fits perfectly though I would be hesitant to use because of the double wicks. Know of some incidents that happened with Goose Creek because they are two wick. Can remember when there was only the flagship store in Mass and YC could only be purchased at "mom and pop" shops. YC has come a long way. PS - Cozy Christmas is worth it. Keep it in your cart!

Catnpaws Thanks Gretchen! I forgot abt the 2wick thing. Not sure I want that in a jar like this (also thinking more soot); but will definitely try them. You're right - they've come a long way! I got my first Yankee at a locally-owned grocery store, WAY back when... ;-)

I'm excited as well to try them. Like the two wicks and there was plenty of oils floating around. Ready to get into the daylights. Want to try Pumpkin Harvest first.

I was checking these out just last night. I'm certain that they will steal a bit of YC customers with this new line. I like the idea of two wicks, but am confused.....Yankee always claimed that they couldn't do a two wick jar of this style because the glass would get too hot. Yet here it is? I like two wick because you get a faster, more even pool. Yet I don't care for three wick candles at all. They burn too fast, there is TOO MUCH fragrance for me, and I don't like all of the light that comes from three wicks. Yes, I guess I am fussy. And speaking of fussy, I am not fond of the way the candle names look on this new country line. It looks very dollar store style to me. Otherwise, I think the label and everything else is great. But you know where it says...'Chocolate Chip Cookie'? Something about it just looks off. Yes, I am one of those who chooses their candles on fragrance AND looks. I'm still undecided. Do you think it's pure coincidence that they have come out with this line just when YC has drastically changed their label and upset so many customers? It has to be coincidental, because I know that rolling out a new line like this takes a long, long time and lot's of planning. It is ironic though, huh? Meanwhile, get busy burning that CCC! I am anxious to know how it performs. Fun haul Gretchen~

Thought of you when I smelled the McIntosh Apple. Think it would be a good fit for your month of September. I'm not sure what the fuss is over two wicks. Goose Creek manufactures two wick candles. Maybe YC keeps the one wick so they can sell their Illumi Lids as a fix all. I'm not sure how long you've been buying Yankee Candle but this County Candle label "kind of" took me back to 90's. Yankee Candle was the standout font. If my memory serves me, would have been before photos were on the labels. Maybe they are trying to capture both old and new designs. Can only ponder on how long or not Kringle was planning a change. Seems they were eager to brag this new line will throw and bring back old YC nostalgia. If I'm reading correctly (?) the numbers on the bottom 161019 may be the pour? That was last week! So it goes. Guess I will get to burning and report back. Or??? should I save my jar as an original and retire rich in five years or so? LOL.
