Should have covered the clicker assembly hoke with your hand & then stood the shocknup vertically. This would've let the trapped air in the resistor cone out to the clicker area. Then put it back in the vice & filled the little amount the shock needed. Air free assembly. Not doing this makes for a shock rebuild with air trapped in it. ...just say'n.
You screwed that up royally. You didn't bleed the top of the reservoir that is above the compression adjuster level. You needed to stand the shock up and get that air out.
