When I was a kid, I lived two streets away from the baozi shop you see at the beginning of your video. Sometimes after school, my mother would buy baozi for dinner from this store. Thank you for bringing me back to see this store again after more than ten years.
Omg what a coincidence!! that sounds like such a nice childhood memory 🥹 thank you for watching my video! I'm so glad it brought back good memories for you 💗
The train journey looked very comfortable, nice food too. I have been on long train journeys where I would have loved one of those chairs. The terracotta warriors are amazing. The food looked delicious, so many beautiful places in one video, I will watch it again because just like the last video there is so much see 👍👍👍 Again so much
Thanks so much!! Yeah the train was very nice and would love to go on it again 🥹 The terracotta soldiers were as amazing as I expected (also the number of people there 😂)!! And yes the food was really good too! Thanks for watching my jam packed video!! 🌟
Could you share how you managed to go to the Emperor's Mausoleum via public transport please? Is it also accessible to Huashan via public transport too? Thanks in advance!
Hi! We just took the train to the nearest stop and then had to take the cab to the final destination for both the Emperor's Mausoleum and Huashan. There are a lot of cabs waiting in front of the train stops for both since there's a lot of people who take this route! Also if you have trouble looking it up on your own, your hotel should be able to help book things for you! Hope this helps 🫶
Hey thanks for your video i'm going to xi'an in two weeks 😍 Could you please tell me the name of the restaurant with lanterns at the ceiling (really pretty) . This trip scare me a lot but i know i'll see wonderful things 😁
Thank you so much! 🥰 We took the cable car up to the top of the mountain! There was a tiny bit of climbing to get to the cable car, but otherwise we didn't climb the mountain!
How did you go about paying for stuff? I'm going soon and I heard everything is by app like Alipay, but I also heard foreign cards run into trouble when trying to link to the app. Any recommendations, or how did you do it? Thanks.
I’m going on an overnight train from Beijing to Xi’an too but it’s with my class (from the UK and they’re rude and have no social awareness 😢) so I’m defo not getting sleep that night 😂
hello! love to watch your adventure! i am going to Xi'an in July, can you please share the name of the hotel you both staying at and if you recomended them. also if you don't mind sharing the name of the restaurant that you both have to wait for. thank you!! happy travel
Thank you so much for watching! 💗🥹 We stayed in Sofitel in Xian and we liked it! Was a nice location and the rooms were clean! The restaurant was called 长安大牌档之上元灯会(钟楼店) and the address is 陕西省西安市碑林区南大街39号森源大厦1-2层! Hope you have fun in Xian!! ✨
Hi! ☺️ Some tips I have would be to book all the major sightseeing places ahead of time! Some places you need a reservation before you get there to enter, so check before you go! 💪 My experience in Xian was that there were a lot more tourists than other cities in China I went to on this trip, so I recommend to start your day as early as possible! ☀️ You will have so much fun on your trip! Have an amazing time with your wife in Xian 🥰
I notice the Chinese do not respect personal space the way westerners do, even in a long queue we make sure there's a step between each person in line but the Chinese just bunch up together, I would love to visit China but that is one thing I would find hard to get used to.

@@danvictdengdeng hi! Foreign cards work with Alipay actually! So I had no issue paying for my stuff!

@@enontra No problem! Have fun!! ✨
Recommond the performance and and dinner shows in Xi'an.
You can get the information from google.
November may be too cold… all the greens will be gone.
When was this trip? Trying to avoid the crowds hehe
@@jaceong5978 this was in august! That's def peak time so avoid if you can 🥲🥲
Music is too loud, look up adjusting levels for video and reducing background noise.
@@violetviolet888 sorry some parts are loud!
This is a UNSECO Geopark site.
Very nice!!

Definitely something to get used to for sure 😅
don't go to China please, i'll pay you not to
I got a culture shock when a French visitor gives me a cheek to cheek greeting the first time I met them. 😂
