That poor dog! Thank you! I was in tears watching him struggle to get out. I held my breath watching you go get him. One day, at Napton, a soaking wet dog came running up to us. He was shivering. I scooped him up and started asking at all the boats moored along the pound if he was theirs. Eventually we found his people who hadn't realized he'd gotten out! Clearly he'd fallen in and got out on his own and he came to us asking for help. Watching that dog struggle made me wonder about that other dog - and how hard it must have been for him to get out.
Oh how sad 😢 but pleased you could help. Thank goodness he got out. Both Ralph and Rosie have gone in and had to be scooped out but we’ve always been there. Thank goodness. Was so pleased we were able to help this poor pup. Thanks for watching 😊
Upton on Severn is lovely, I guess your decision to change plans and get back on the Canal is just a great acknowledgement that this change in your lifestyle was a Brilliant decision for you both.....how great is that! Brilliant Vlog.
Wonderful vlog as ever. We loved the Avon last summer, but passed on the Severn for the same reasons as you two. Nowhere to walk our Ralf. Well done for rescuing the dog Ros, I’d have done just the same. Jenny + Trev. NB Life of Riley ❤
I think you have chosen wrong route, if you had carried on to Stourport and come in that way you would have had better, more little village type cruse witch i know you like with 1 or 2 pubs on way. Hope i am not to late but look up Black Country Living Museum. and Dudley Tunnel and Canal Trust. But have loved your local cruse on severn and avon what a brave lady you are saving that dog, yes as a dog lover my self who would have left it???? not me.
Our hero 😊 saved the dog 🐕 🙌
Thank you 🙏
