I started watching your channel in 2017 and i just saw this video for the first time and its from 2013. I loved it but i love how much more comfortable youve gotten infront of the camera. Love you alex keep up the good work!
Now that does look interesting and delicious, and definitely unexpected. Yours is one of the more entertaining, informative and to the point cooking channels here on RUclips.
I made it with skinless boneless chicken fillets insread of the fish. It came out fantastic! I live in a place where you cannot get fresh/decent fish, everything has been frozen...yukkk...so I used chicken. Everyone loved it. No left-overs at all! Merci beaucoup,. En verite, votre channel et les demonstrations, ils sont incroyable!
I am loving your videos more and more! And I was saying yesterday that being a Spaniard in India I am taking licenses to give a twist to all Spanish and Indian dishes (I have made parathas with western fillings, apple and cinnamon samosas....) but I loved this idea! something that my indian and foreigner friends could love! :D Thanks!
This is a great idea! Not too long ago we were discussing with an Indian friend on how we could mix Indian dishes with Western dishes, and this is one great way! Also thank you for the paneer trick! :o
you just thought me how to make paneer, I love you. I'm Indian and never knew how to make it. It is far too expensive to buy in the UK. not to mention rare in supermarkets.
Hi Alex, the thing is many people get paneer wrong and you too(not completely),bare with me please You have given us a simple and an inexpensive paneer recipe,u should try curd instead of apple cider vinegar 2 parts milk and one part curd, and let the milk split on the stove ,u wont believe the result Soft tender and very cheesy This is how we make it at home and your method for packed cheese which we get in the supermarket Btw beautiful video,I've been binge watching your videos I'm a lacto vegan but still I watch all your meat videos,I just love the way u cook
Once again you have outdone yourself and exceeded my expectations! Even my eight year old said Mmm that looks so yummy. You had us both intrigued and giggling, thank you!
Just subscribed today. One of my favorite foods in the world is Palak Paneer. Odd enough to say since I am a Canadian who has lived in Japan for 10 years and has never visited India. This sounds amazing and I will try it on my next chance! Thanks!
I have to say that I love the way you talk jaja.. you have really good ideas to cook and the cheese´s recipe is really good!! wish you luck and keep it up!
OhmyGAWD That is an AMAZING fusion! I'm so craving that pie rn..I have paneer on a regular basis and I love Spinach too and well obviously palak paneer is one of my faves, but duuude you are awesome! The way you combined the flavours, just epic. Also props for making your own paneer, I think I'll make mine too :D Thankya!
Dude .. this was awesome! Great job .. Indian flavors are generally difficult to incorporate into western cooking, but I'm sure this turned out to be quite delicious. Subscribed. :)
Very cool idea of pie in a pan - pie can sometimes seem like such an effort! Can I put forward a request for another dish? I need something I can cook on a Sunday afternoon before a really busy week when I have to take dinner into work and reheat it; so a one-pot meal, no extras. And yes, this pie is one-pot, but a) I don't like fish (forgive me, I am an English and you know we're heathens with food) and b) pastry does not reheat nicely. Love your style, man! x
you can use the whey to make dough for bread / pizza dough, etc. has a lot of nutrition. or you can use it as a stock. also wash the paneer once you strain it from the whey so the lingering vinegar or lemon taste is gone. plus use regular vinegar or lemon juice v/s apple cider
A Spaniard is someone from Spain. Like in French, espaniard. Thanks for another great video!. Btw, what happened to random voice with comments on your instructions!? :'(

Thx ;) You could simply replace it. But in this case I would go heavier on the spices and add a bit of chili.
Always a pleasure to watch.

I can't fall in love with every french guy who know how to cook odd hinglish things...

Wow I'm sold
Good !
Trop bon !
Wow ! ;)
Always question the status quo ;) Cheers !
Oh wow this is where it seems to have started
Normally we use sea salt to curdle the milk....gives a good flav...
Haha was not expecting the f bomb at the 2:57 mark! Cracked me up while my wife was sleeping!
LOOOL
Hey Alex. If I bake this in a cast iron skillet instead of an oven save pan (I don't have one) will I need to alter the cooking time?
No it's great. Cast iron skillet might work even better.
Never thought you can turn a palak paneer into a pie. Food is all about discovery.
Not all Indians get it right to make panneer at home. I tried it at home by adding weight the way you did, and got a good panner!
One day maybe ;)
A Spaniard is someone from Spain. Like in French, espaniard.
Thanks for another great video!.
Btw, what happened to random voice with comments on your instructions!? :'(
