I have never left a friend at a bar or anywhere else. Especially a concert. When you have a female friend who is that tiny, you take extra care. Damn.
@Jimmy Jaime when I went on a " fun run" with friends in another city and the crowds were tremendous...I grabbed hold of my friends shirt and didn't let go....I'm 100 lbs and didn't want to get lost . Heck no. I couldn't see over people's heads.😨

Yes, so true. My son’s girlfriend is tiny, and I am always telling her to keep an eye on her, if they go anywhere. We are from a rural area, and although it can happen here, too, I am always telling him to watch her, if they go to the city.

I lived in SC during the time this occurred, and I've never forgotten her. I hope and pray this case will be solved.

I'm disturbed at how many of these stories involve a separation of friends and said friends just assuming they must've made their way home. Never leave your friends when you're out.

What a lovely girl. I'm so, so sorry for these parents. I'm sure that if she could speak to them, she would say, "It's okay." She wouldn't want them to suffer. I hope they find peace somehow and justice for their little girl.

I'm from South Carolina and my cousin Kevin Isenhoward actually has been working on the Cold case of this woman and is still looking into it but I believe they kinda know who did it but couldn't prove it.
Thats usually the case with cold cases that are abandoned. Cause police know they have the answer but legally have no recourse

The fact you know about the car being found in the pond is amazing. I was there when that car was pulled out. There was a huge amount of resources there for that. Turned out to be a car ditched for insurance fraud most likely and no body in the car.

I pray that the family get closure one day. I lived in Colombia SC around that time . This case broke my heart and especially never knowing. Bless yall and some of us will always remember her.
I stayed in apartment close to sorority house where Ted Bundy killed, in early '80s, Tallahassee. Guy, believe him, crept up behind me getting out of car one night, but had friend watching out her door, helped me out. What I'm saying is, college towns attract this kind. What a loss for her family.

How come some police departments are so good and others are just lazy? Like taking the word that someone killed them selves? I think every unattended or even a death period should be treated as a homicide! Then work backwards from there.

But after putting the victim in the car, where can the kidnapper drive?
I bet he took her to the woods
And being an asthmatic, how would she have reacted if the kidnapper surprised her and put a piece of cloth on her nose with a sleeping substance?
It is possible that the kidnapper only wanted to rape her and not kill her, but her health problems made her suffocate to death, so the kidnapper got scared and hid her body
I hope this sad issue will be resolved
