This film got mixed reviews when it came out, but i personally really enjoyed it! pretty solid sequel!
Love this movie! The first one was also one of the best vigilante/crime action movies I've seen. 2014 was such a good year for movies between The Equalizer, John Wick, Nightcrawler, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and Edge Of Tomorrow. I'm looking forward to The Equalizer 3, Denzel Washington always delivers in his movies and now he's doing sequels too. This movie was brutal and had a dark tone, it really hit home what he does for justice.
Here are 2 that I don't think you've watched on the channel. "MAN ON FIRE" and "MALCOLM X"
I remember watching this movie with my old man at the movie theater as it was a great time watching with him. Till after the movie, I ask him which is a better movie between “John Wick” and “Equalizer” and he say that “John Wick” seems more epic but he love both series. 😄
This reaction was fire, almost as fire as your reaction on Outer Banks will be!
Inside Man and Fences are great Denzel Washington films
I'm happy you want to see more of Denzels stuff, because he's one o my favorite actors, so when you haven't seen this, I recommend "Hurricane" (1999) for the next reaction.

Shame you couldn't keep a bit more in the upload such as the build-up to the Brussels assassination, Robert finding out in the kitchen that Dave was the killer of Susan, the "I only get to kill you once" etc. Still loved it! Other vigilante style crime movies or just general action thrillers to check out which I don't think you've seen before that I highly recommend are:

You should checkout Denzel in the movie Flight. Really good movie, imho, and of course, Denzel knocks it out of the park.

You and your GF should react to The Crow (1994) starring Brandon Lee, he is Bruce Lee son.
Brandon Lee tragically got shot on the set of the movie due to a prop gun with a piece of left over blank bullet residue, the crew thought Brandon was playing joke when scene was over and when he was laying on the floor he wasn’t moving but when they got closer they saw it was serious and rushed Brandon Lee to the hospital, the doctors did everything they could but it was too late Brandon Lee passed away at the age of 28.
Some scenes aren’t Brandon it’s his body double Chad Stahelski, Chad is the director of the John Wick franchise. The director of The Crow Alex Proyas had too cut and add new scenes for the movie because of happened to Brandon. They also CGI Brandon Lee face on too Chad face and the makeup artist made a face mask of Brandon face for chad to wear. All scenes were they don’t show Brandon Lee face it’s Chad
Brandon was supposed get married to his fiancée Eliza Hutton after The Crow finished filming.
After Brandon was supposed to get married Brandon was going to a sign a two-year deal to continue The Crow storyline. The Crow is comic book/graphic novel created by James O'Barr.
Before entering the Marines, O'Barr's fiancée Beverly had been killed by a drunk driver.
While living in Berlin in 1981, O'Barr began work on his comic The Crow as a means of dealing with his personal tragedy.
O'Barr was further inspired by a Detroit newspaper account of the murder of a young couple over a $20 engagement ring.
In The Crow, the protagonist, Eric and his fiancée Shelly are murdered by a gang of criminals. Eric then returns from the dead guided by a supernatural crow, to hunt their killers.
After his discharge from the Marines O'Barr continued his painting and illustration as well as doing various odd jobs.
The Crow sat on a shelf for seven years but at last he found a publisher with Gary Reed of Caliber Press.
The first miniseries was published in 1989. The Crow has since sold more than 750,000 copies worldwide.
This movie has the best soundtrack of all time according to Rolling Stones magazine, Revolver Magazine etc. and the movie score is amazing as well.

Classic TV series becoming films or film franchises and actually being successful is a rarity.
One is Mission Impossible.
The other would be The Equalizer.
One individual to even up the odds for the innocent.
Bringing the pain to the bad guys that deserve it.
I loved the CBS tv series (1985-1989) as an kid.
When I heard it was going to become a film, I lost my mind.
Originally it would've been Russell Crowe as McCall, Paul Haggis (Crash) as director
and set in New York to match the series itself.
Denzel as one of the great actors of film in an action film is very rare.
Both as McCall/co-producer and Fuqua directing was even more exciting.
They didn't try to copy the show, beat for beat (except for the last scene with his own classified ad).
I saw it in the IMAX format and Denzel's highest grossing film ever.
Part 2 was even more kick-a**.
It got revamped again into a new original series on CBS.
Queen Latifah plays McCall and is one of the producers.
Part 3 looks to be incredible.
