I've owned mine since 1985, the bike was first registered in Jersey, the Channel Islands. Not sure why someone would want such a powerful bike on an island that has a forty mph speed limit. The bike was low mileage so maybe it was taken on a tour a couple of times.. It's a bike I've never wanted to part with, even for the long period I didn't use it, I always knew I would get it back on the road again :-)
Thanks, it’s a bike I couldn’t part with.. I must admit there was a long period it just stood uncared for in the garage while work and family got in the way of riding it, but I always said I’d get it back on the road.. at the moment I have a carb problem, when on the side stand the carb leaks, otherwise it runs great :-)
