I just trained with Maxim and he is the very philosophical instructor. He makes it a point to relay the mental and psychological side of the system which is great.

beautiful explanation, I havent pratice ground fighting, punches, kicks in the last few years but systema is still helping me in my work, my family, my friends etc. as a human being, this is just the best learning experience I ever had...systema is much mushc deeper than just "fighting"

Max is a great instructor, very tough and wise. I trained with him many years ago at the beginning of my systema journey. I also went through the point of realising how little I know and still do. Systema people everywhere are examples of good human beings, and that is why the system is good for everyone involved in it

Systema does have aalot if phenomenal and interesting biomechanics but it's a proven fact that you should drill certain techniques and many schools have drifted away from the most interesting form which for many kadichnikova style. For me and my kind we don't care bout artsy stuff we want martial realism. Which is taken from combat sports but tweaked with systema biomechanics.
