This interview was from November 2022. It has never been released before this point. We were unable to do a show because I could not be available. We did not want to have a Tuesday evening with no episode at all so I worked on fixing audio issues that preventing releasing the interview before. I fixed the audio and published this interview so there would be content even if we couldn't make it. - Eric

Mark I agree with you! I believe Ruth Paine wrote the Walker note and the letters to the soviet embassy in washington signed Lee. In Vol 2 of the warren commission, Peter Paul Gregory(the older Gregory) testified that Ruth called him in ‘63 and wanted him to tutor her in writing letters in Russian and also how to write letters in Russian to the soviet embassy as in the format etc. He testified that he told her “no” that he did not want to get involved with doing that.

Max Good did a great job with his documentary about Ruth Paine. But I have three points of criticism to make about it. First, and this is a minor item, the eerie music track added at times to emphasize the troubling points in Ruth Paine's own "story" is far too loud. A more subtle sound mix with the music at a softer level would have been less distracting. Two, the documentary didn't mention that there has never been a case of a political assassination in all of history in which the perpetrator(s) denied they were involved. My late Uncle Harold Feldman wrote and published a definitive study of just this topic years before the JFK assassination. (And my Uncle also wrote the first published article establishing that witnesses stated that at least one gunshot was coming from the Grassy Knoll area.) For details about Harold Feldman's contributions, see "Praise from a Future Generation: The Assassination of John F. Kennedy and the First Generation Critics of the Warren Report" (October 1, 2007) by John Kelin. Harold found that not only do the assassins readily admit committing or being involved in the political assassinations, but were proud of what they did. My Godfather, Vince Salandria, appears in Max's documentary and he can be seen in it talking about the Paines and walking near his home on Delancey Street in Philadelphia. Harold Feldman was also related to Vince by marriage. (Their wives, Immie--who was my Aunt--and Livia were sisters.) My third criticism is that Max didn't seek explication or details from Ruth about the precise circumstances of how Ruth Paine came to meet George de Mohrenschildt "at a party." How did she learn about the party-gathering that brought her into direct contact with the Oswald family? Who told her about it? What did they tell her? Why did she decide to go to the party? Keep close in mind that if Ruth never knew about or went to that particular party, there would have been no patsy Lee Oswald planted in the Texas School Book Depository and no plan to divert attention from the real conspiracy. But we may never know the answers to these vital questions because Max didn't ask Ruth about them. And, of course, Ruth has never been asked these questions before (that we know of), so she wouldn't be able to rely on her canned responses to questions. She would have to pivot away or avoid answering the important questions about how that party involving George de Mohrenschildt came about, how she learned about the party, who invited her, etc. (As a well-prepared advocate for the conspirators, I'm certain that if Ruth Paine had already prepared canned-fake answers to such questions about the party, she would have volunteered the fake answers without specific prompting, the way she's responded over the decades to other more routine questions.) I'm certain that if honest answers were given, and the person or persons involved in inviting Ruth to the party were named, we'd have yet another connection to the CIA, and probably the most important connection(s) of all.

Fyi-there are several witnesses that testified to the WC that all of the shots came from the knoll/overpass/rr track area and that there were 4 shots at the very least and that they did not come from the TSBD. Im reading the full 26 volumes of the WC right now!! I totally agree with you that Ruth has never been asked any hard questions. And neither has Marina. Ive read about 130 books on this topic and I believe that Marina had a hand in helping to get lee in place beforehand and I also believe she planted evidence to help frame him. I believe she is just as guilty as Ruth. I believe Marina double crossed Lee. There are documents on the MF website that led me to believing in Marina’s guilt. I dont buy Marina’s poor widow of an assassin act. FBI Agent Hosty had Marina pegged from the get-go. She met the FBI profile criteria for a KGB agent. He wrote about it in his book. She came here as a communist, she was caught sending tech magazines back to russia thru the mail yet was allowed to stay in this country after helping to frame a united states marine corp veteran and that is unforgiveable!

@@notfakenewsofpa386 Imagine if Ruth was asked about who told her to go to the party and she responded, "Oh, yes, I got a call about the party and the suggestion that I meet with George [de Mohrenschildt] from my dear friend Mary [Bancroft]. I told Mary I wasn't sure I could make it. But when I got another call from Sylvia [Hoke] that I really ought to be at the party with George, I couldn't turn the invitation down." Of course, I'm joking with such a transparent answer, since Mary Bancroft was Allen Dulles's mistress and Sylvia Hoke was Ruth's sister and had close ties to the CIA. But I think audiences would have enjoyed watching her squirm at my more detailed questions about the party.

I thought I read somewhere that Ruth had been to Birmingham, Al., for whatever reason, drove back thru New Orleans, picked up Marina and June, took them home w/ her. Then Oswald came later. Im not sure where this ties in. NOLA is a big detour from B'ham to Dallas.

The Minox Camera saga is one of weird rabbit holes of the Oswald Saga. To give some background the Minox was the first choice of the international intelligence community - it was tiny, beautifully engineered and easy to use. It was also extremely expensive, available only through a distributor in New York (as far as I know), required specialized film and processing and produced tiny images (8 by 11mm) that were a huge compromise compared to 35mm or 120 that was common at the time. I owned one and frankly it is only useful as an intelligence tool. The market for such a camera was either really wealthy people who wanted a precision gadget - Leica people - or spooks. The light meter story is a bit of a red herring - the light meter was included as a set with the camera as far as I know. The price of a Minox in 1963 was$140 - about $1500 in current money. To add to the complexity it seems that Jack Ruby also had a Minox camera! There was a film of a parade in Dallas a few years previous with Jack Ruby and I think George Senator playing with a Minox. What is the chance of that?

I was rewatching the late great jack whites examining the Zapruda film...and you wouldn't believe what showed up...Jack was in the Plaza doing calculations about the spot where two ladies were standing..they say they were there for the president and see her motorcycle cop boyfriend...she has claimed in every statement that she was on the asphalt not on the grass ..he shows its almost 100% she was on the road not grass..the Zapruda film has her on the grass..the point being is guess who was in the photos assisting jack white ? OMG, it was your guy Robert Groden..yes it was..this lady took the photo that may have placed a shooter left of Zapruda...but she was never called to the Warren commission interviews...because she is certain she was on the road not the grass....Eric don't be fooled by what you think and what is real..you need to research Jake white and his Zapruda investigation on the film...then you make up your mind with the facts ..if you see problems with the film and can't go to your counterpart with new ideas because you have gone too far the wrong direction I can understand that...but robert was in the Plaza side by side with jack trying to debunk the film

Yep. Funny how almost every other bit of evidence in the assassination was either tampered with, ignored, or planted but somehow, the Zapruder film, which was sat on by Time Life for a decade, is above reproach. There is highly credible evidence that it's been tampered with. Missing frames, reversed frames, etc. It's the most explosive (no pun intended) evidence in the whole assassination. It makes absolutely no sense that it WOULDN'T be tampered with.

Jean Hill, wearing the red coat had the boyfriend cop in the parade ahead of Kennedy and she stepped into the street to get his attention so Mary Moorman could take his picture. In the most recent interview with Moorman I've seen where she's very elderly she is asked about being in the street or not. She stated emphatically that when JFK came by and she took that picture she was standing on the grass.

One of things that I have struggled with concerning Oswald and Ruth Paine is the moniker that Oswald used. A. Heidel. I wonder if Mark can answer this. When did Oswald start using it? Or is its origin unknown? I ask because it has always seemed odd that Oswald would use an Alias in a state to buy a rifle when an I.D. was not required. Did he ever use this particular Alias before the rifle purchase? Maybe to rent an apartment, or something? I know it appeared on a 'Selective Service' card with the bogus photo of Oswald. But Hoover stated that a woman picked up the gun at the Post Office. Is it possible that person was Ruth Paine? Obviously, Ruth Paine would have a motive to keep her identity anonymous if she purchased the gun. And is it possible that she CREATED the A. Heidel Identity? Or do we know that it was used exclusively by Oswald?

Please, Max. Gus Rose was one of an army of copys who fitted up innocent men for crimes over the decades. Remember, Dallas County DA Henry Wade holds the record for the most reversed convictions over his tenure (1951-1987).

my instinct is that ruth herself was unaware she was being used by all of the cia contacts around her: george de morenschildt, her cia-agent sister sylvia hyde hoke, her father who worked for usaid and michael paine’s mother’s best friend mary bancroft, who was allen dulles’s mistress.

Was the Amazon reviewer who alleged the film was "disgraceful abuse of an elderly person", actually Ruth herself? Seems to fit in nicely with her "powerfully awful" comment. 🤣🤣

Ruth Paine always seemed to have an answer for everything from the beginning. I have always been very suspicious of her. She always came across as prim and proper, but its all too coincidental. Either way, God Almighty knows the truth.
