Melling is on a whole different level. Don't get me wrong, Bergman is huge; only a few guys come so close to beating Melling. But Melling is not playing pool anymore, he is celebrating the art of pool billards. He is just amazing. Strong recommendation to watch British Blackpool with Melling excelling in this pool variant.
@@joshuacho6657 did you watch the video? Melling didn't miss a shot. Just dry breaks. If he was potting off the break this match would have been a lot shorter.
Melling has had that nickname for years and so has snooker player Shaun Murphy. It also suits Chris and works well as an alliteration with Magic Melling or Magician Melling.
@Mojotasticification The outside tables (Non tv tables) have regulation valley buckets, and the TV tables have 4" pockets. That's what the commentators said at least......
Would have been unfortunate for Chris to lose that one. No mistakes unlike a number of unexpected ones form Bergman. Needs to improve his break though.
please commentate the match instead of talking about the chiefs game and outer/previous matches the whole time! its frustrating to watch. I love ultimate pools matches and it inspires me but the main commentator has a habit of getting way off topic too much.
Bergman actually had the money in the bag but missed the cut on the 8 at 34:00. I doubt Melling gave him another chance after that, and if he did then Bergman really blew it.
okay he really blew it, look at what happened there around 36:10. He tried to shoot over the mass of balls with a weird bridge and either miscued or mishit the cue ball
Bergman looks fuller in the face. Looks like he gained a good 10 pounds. Maybe less - he has a smaller frame so even 5 pounds makes a difference. Bergman is a great player so I would hope the homie is making good choices and will be back in pro tour action

8 ball is only meant for a 7' table. It's the congestion that makes it hard. Too much room on a 9' that's why they keep changing the rules to make 9 ball harder.

Melling is so smooth.

they are just showing their experience.
you are sooooo right
Justin looks like he is on crank
Chris must love playing in the states.
Easy mode American tables.

A magical comeback from the Magician🔥
Dang that’s the worst I’ve ever seen Justin play. Chris played amazing not counting the break. Fun match.
I was on the edge of my seat? 😳
EXCELLENT.
The americans head fell right off.. He was 6.3 up

the 7 wasnt a kick/skid. it went thin. just one bad shot really.

At 30:50 Chris barely even lines up his shot 😂 I know he's quick but that specific shot he barely even leaned over to it lol

Americans should start playing on proper tables. These massive pocket forgiving tables make their players comparatively crap.
