    • @ElementalMaker
      @ElementalMaker  6 лет назад

      Close but not exactly, Limelight was actually the product of an oxy-hydrogen flame hitting a solid lump of quicklime which would produce a brilliant white light. I'm building an HHO generator right now to reproduce this effect! Keep an eye out for the video coming soon!

    I made one sililar. I used the valve from an old Bic lighter and fit it inside the threaded part of a ball inflator needle that I removed the needle from and aslo used an old soda can bottom for the reflector. If you drill the hole first you can chuck it into a drill using a screw and some nuts and polish it with some comlound and the drill. Works great.

    How is mixing up a batch of epoxy faster than PVC cement? The PVC cement would have it completely bonded in about 10 seconds after pushing the parts together. The epoxy is still getting measured out at the 10 second mark.

      Next time you have time to run it, can you doc a few things and post, if possible?
      1) weight of fuel used
      2) burn time
      3) highest temp of the reaction chamber
      When I dropped enough pellets in my candle I made, I was worried about melting the chamber. But it's nothing more than a plastic bottle with a needle out of it. So I was curious as to how hot the reaction chamber with the nozzle attached will get while emitting a decent flame

      That it should! Ill be replacing the standard steel wool with stainless or brass wool, since normal steel wool will degrade very quickly in the environment of the reaction vessel.

      ElementalMaker If you put some thin copper or brass shim discs behind the reflector, it should assist in radiating the heat that might damage the plastic. It might also help as extra flame-arrestor.
      Keep up the awesome work!
