So lovely to see yet more of your beautiful country. Its also nice to see you out n about after your back problem. That snake was pretty.Tight lines mate.
I've just moved to NE Vic recently and there's great info in your videos mate. I just take the kids out and hope for the best but appreciate your content mate👍
Good to see that you are up and about a bit more after your back problem that I can totally relate to . Good luck and Merry Christmas to you and your family
Great to see so many small fish mate 6 months from now all the hits your getting will be hook ups and few snakes around glad you saw them first mate gets scary when you don’t see them cheers
Great trout video Robbie. Trout fishing is the most exciting. You should try the “magbite blading” jig heads. I use strike tiger plastics with it because it has the flash and vibration as well as the plastic and size 8 fine hook. My go to trout tackle!
Sometimes I think when they were naming trout they should have incorporated Houdini into the name. The escapes they make sometimes is just baffling. But when you say trout fishing there is always the beautiful environmental consolation to make it well worth every time out.
Thank you so much for your videos! I had a misfortune, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I also created a channel and am trying to move in that direction, but so far not very successful((fas
G'day Graham, thank you so much mate. I am so sorry, I did not get to the Post Office today. It is on my list of jobs for tomorrow morning. Then I will film my monthly Mailtime tomorrow or over the weekend.
Great Video Robbie 👍 I Was feeding the Cattle at 6pm (Queensland time) yesterday and it was 30 degrees and i saw a King Brown Snake and i gave it space like i do all snakes. On our property with the Fish Hatchery my dad and I see Eastern Brown, King Brown and Red belly black snakes all the time on our Property
WOW that's awesome. Thank you for respecting snakes mate. I have only ever seen one King Brown and it was dead. It was truly enormous. At least 7 feet long. That's was at Cobar in NSW.
Hi Catherine, Tiger snakes are excellent swimmers. They spend most of their lives near the water. Brown snakes like long grass and hay sheds with lots of mice, tiger snakes like creeks and rivers with heaps of frogs.
Silly question Rob... but with all your missed strikes, are your hooks super sharp? Sometimes (but definitely not always) giving a "blunt" hook a lick with a stone will improve my hookup rate.
Great Tiger snake vision!! He was NOT in the mood to say hello!! Do you run a treble hook on the spinners? I have found changing to a single hook (long shank, bait keeper style) helps with hookups, especially on those little trout. Love your work! Merry Xmas to you and all of your youtube family.
Thanks mate. Yeah, usually trebles. I'm not one to stuff around changing hooks. Haha I hope you and your family have a fantastic safe and Merry Christmas too.
Love ya work mate 👍🏽 How'z the exercise and the walking going? I've got herniated disc and have found walking and swimming to be the best thing for it 🙃
Thank you so much for your videos! I had a misfortune, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I also created a channel and am trying to move in that direction, but so far not very successful((syu
On the plus side of wading 🤔 When waterfowl frighten you bad at least you can wash up easily 🤣Seeing those snakes up close on your videos is as close as I wish to get. They are at the top of my "nope" list right alongside of Crocodiles and politicians 😁I do however appreciate seeing them through your eyes.
The trouts posted on their FaceBook group saying: "Robbie is lurking around today dangling a line. Let's drive him crazy by showing interest in his lure then swimming away " 😀

I'm sitting safely in my car and looking out the window and seeing a deadly venomous snake. I'm closing the window, turning on the engine and spinning the wheels, gravel flying... IM OFF, as Robbie says GONE!!! What does Robbie do. Oh, I'll just get out of my car and get close to the poor snake within striking distance, risking my life. Why? To make him move off the road to a safer place where he won't get run over by a car 😮 it's not a beautiful, cute, furry little rabbit. NO!!! It's a deadly snake. When I'm off down the road I couldn't care less if he's run over by a car. I'm home safe and sound, having a whisky a large one for my nerves.
Hi mate, absolutely I will but it probably won't be until after the Christmas / New year period now I don't think. But rest assured, I will definitely still be filming yabby catch and cook videos.
Hi mate, all snakes will lunge towards you, or advance towards you for a very short distance if they feel threatened, but they do not chase people. If they have a chance to evade you they will do it every time..
@@robbiefishing I know you are right, mostly. Just sometimes people act wrong in front of a snake, making the snake think it is being attacked, and so it attacks back.
I love your videos it reminds me of fishing the streams in England when I was a teenager. Not many big fish but the joy of just being there.
Thank you so much mate.
Thanks for sharing the tiger. Very nice !! Good rainbow too !!
Excellent Robbie
The country is so beautiful, nice views and interesting to see the fishing was a near trout
Near trout experience
Thanks Pete, I really love my time in the high country.

Awesome tiger snake. That grass looked super snakey to me.
Thanks mate, I agree. I was on constant lookout. Haha 😂
Please be careful Robbie we love watching your videos and we want to keep watching them
I've just moved to NE Vic recently and there's great info in your videos mate. I just take the kids out and hope for the best but appreciate your content mate👍
Thank you so much for your kind words mate.
Today i saw a red belly black in a small creek
Keep the great videos coming
Thanks so much mate. The old blacks are pretty harmless. Still... Be careful where you put your feet. 👍👍
Good to see that you are up and about a bit more after your back problem that I can totally relate to . Good luck and Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thanks so much Alan. Merry Christmas to you and your family too.
Awesome video Robbie, how amazing are snakes! 🙌👏
Oooo just knocked off dialysis I’ll watch this when I get home
Cool video! Beautiful closeups of those snakes! I was lucky to see my first rattlesnake this year and got a great video.
Thanks mate. WOW I would love to see a rattler.
Great to see so many small fish mate 6 months from now all the hits your getting will be hook ups and few snakes around glad you saw them first mate gets scary when you don’t see them cheers
Thanks mate, I bloody hope so👍👍
Well done like the video yet again.
Looks a great stream to fish 👍
Thanks mate, it's an absolute ripper this one.

How beautiful is that creek, Robbie. Great video mate. Yeeks, watch those nope ropes mate.
Thanks mate, you're not wrong. This place is just beautiful.
Lots of near trout experiences there Robbie! Lovely afternoon's fishing all the same. You can keep the 🐍🐍🐍 🙄
Haha thanks Frank. Those stupid ducks freighted the life out of me. Haha
@@robbiefishing Drove you quackers?

Haha they do seem to have a knack of getting off. 😭
Great video Robbie! You should try putting the underwater camera in a trout stream!
looked like a great day, and some awesome snake interaction

Love your show on fishing and by the way have a merry Christmas and a happy new year from Graham Gold Coast QLD

only new to stream fishing, always lure upstream?
Hi mate, yep I always fish my way upstream.
Mate do tiger snakes swim?
Yes they do all snakes swim
@ thanks Joshua for some reason I thought some snakes don’t like water don’t know where I got that idea
Hi Catherine, Tiger snakes are excellent swimmers. They spend most of their lives near the water. Brown snakes like long grass and hay sheds with lots of mice, tiger snakes like creeks and rivers with heaps of frogs.
@ frogs wow 🤩 I saved my mum from a tiger snake once 😆😆 she freaked out when she realised why I called her back
Great video mate ❤good night I’m stuffed
Thanks Catherine. I hope you have a great night sleep.
Silly question Rob... but with all your missed strikes, are your hooks super sharp? Sometimes (but definitely not always) giving a "blunt" hook a lick with a stone will improve my hookup rate.
Hi mate, they were about average. I certainly don't sharpen them, but probably could. I think a lot of the problem was that the fish were so small.
Trouty-wout & snakey-waky!
another great video mate!
Thanks mate. 👍👍

Thanks so much mate. Since my sciatica it has been a slow recovery. I can walk quite a distance now, and have been doing so but it is very slowly.
I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I really hope that you can make a full and speedy recovery. 🙏🙏

Good one mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Cam. 👍👍
Hey Robbie I had a brown snake try to climb up my kayak it wasn’t what I was searching for😂 I love trout fishing but scared of being bitten
WOW as much as I love snakes that would totally freak me out. LOL 🤣
The trouts posted on their FaceBook group saying: "Robbie is lurking around today dangling a line. Let's drive him crazy by showing interest in his lure then swimming away " 😀
Hahaha I reckon you might be right. 😂😂
Hope you didnt quack your pants there lol. A duck scare would be a very close second to a deer honk. Love the snake footage
Haha thanks mate. The bush is full of surprises. LOL 😂😂
You need to float a red worm or some corn in those little pools. Or even a small live minnow.

What was that around 10:37?
I could be wrong but I think it is me. LOL 😂
Nice scenery!
Thanks mate. ,👍👍
ROBERT....!!!!! Your gunna get bitten one day.... Should of tried worms under a float, you'll catch more trout 😂😂😂😂

Tigers and red-belly Black snakes do chase people, if you up-set them. I have seen it, not good.
