Fennec's episode in season 1 of The Mandalorian was my least favorite at the time, but she's definitely grown on me as a character over time. Really looking forward to seeing her alongside Boba again
Fun fact: Bib Fortuna is named after a boxer named Bob Fortuna
...I really want that Blue guy from the first episode of Mandalorian...with a carbonite block!

Finally got to ordering a Boba. Going to wait on Ponda as I have a feeling he'll be on Amazon for retail or less with free shipping in a few months. The Jedha one is great, my brother's copy unfortunately had an issue where it had no glue on the helmet so it popped right off the head. Great for customizers but not great for someone who loves generic troopers.
Here's hoping they do an updated Slave Leia sculpt with the Photo Real technology!
Great review, great figure. Open question to anyone who has TBS Deluxe ROTJ Boba Fett and TBS The Mandalorian Boba Fett Tython, does the Tython head fit onto the ROTJ Boba neck peg? ive tried the Echo clone trooper head as well as all of my other clone trooper and jango heads and all the various necks but none of them work appropriately on ROTJ Boba, either the necks too short or too long. The head under the ROTJ helmet is NOT any previously released fully painted clone trooper head.
will the Boba fett Tython head after being heated and popped off fit on to ROTJ Boba Fett neck with appropriate proprortions?(IE not too long or too short?

She's so good. Probably the best in the wave if ya can get over Boba hype. Which I have trouble doing.

How did you get these? I was just on Big Bad Toy Store. and these aren't going to be released until July 2022. You can pre-order them, but not buy them, at least not yet.

Jared, nice job being the first I know to review the whole wave. Fennec Shand is the stand out. I really wanted to like Lea more at least it's a decent rendering. The Miggs mayfeld another concession to cost cutting. The Bib Fortuna while sculpted well really should of been deluxe. He could of been the best of the wave if soft goods were used on most of his attire. A missed opportunity. The Storm Trooper will please most fans,

Great review! Quick question. Does that head fit easily on huttslayer Leia?
Bib Fortuna was one Ive been waiting on but it looks like they based the likeness on the Episode 1 briefly seen Bib actor who - despite a skiff load of prosthetics and makeup -looks nothing like the ROTJ era Bib. They needed to emphasize his mouthy teethy smile/snarl/contemplative look from when he intercepts R2 and 3PO, or his maniacal laugh/open mouth smile when Jabba’s is dissing the gang, and his eyes and especially forehead needed to be more emotive/forrowed. May sound crazy for an alien but hopefully I’m not the only one seeing the annoying Ep1 look and not the much needed and wanted ROTJ likeness (and yep, I know the Ep1 actor played him in the Mandolorian post credits sea w/ Boba but with his “weight gain” thats yet another look for him despite the actor). And why include Cantina cups??? Seems the most likely explanation is Hasbro/Factory Eff Up - Hasbro was too stingy to make the staff homage to the Kenner figure/Mando appearance so last minute they called the factory in China “hey, just throw in some Cantina cups even though Bib wasnt in that scene or even movie! Lame x Infinity. OR maybe they were supposed to come with Pond Baba and when they called the factory to say to include them, the factory asked which alien? And Hasbro said the “alien with the big head, has weird things coming out of his face (ie the monkey butt mouth)” and the factory dudes saw Bib’s lekku and thought they meant him. Because those accessories make ZERO sense and a Staff -of course then they’d label him a deluxe figure and charged $30, or even a generic Palace Gun to use with Jedi Luke, Jabba’s snack frogs, manacles for Chewie/Luke - so many things that didnt appear with him but make infinitely more sense story-wise than freakin cups from the Cantina set! Despite my benching, overall a pretty good wave but Ponda needs a freaking removable arm feature, especially since they cheated out and reused skinny Luke’s body and didnt include the flipper hands!
They need to start just repacking some of these figures or I will never see them in store. I see why people just buy the whole case, chasing sucks.

@ J.R. - actually, Dorkside Toys shipped out full case orders about 3 weeks ago if you managed to get in preorders the first day they went up for presale. I was one of the lucky ones who got a full case delivered. They must’ve gotten an early shipment out of ordinary. Since then all preorders for this wave now show 2022 delivery. This seems to be the case with a lot of retailers as inventory bounces around all over the place due to the supply chain issues that are well documented and discussed these days. I suspect a lot of the 2022 releases are probably all caught up in the backlog.

A decent wave. Fennec Shand is my most wanted. Boba looks interesting. Jedha Trooper looks cool. Pknda Baba seems undersized on Luke's body and has the awful Y-Jointed hips.
I believe Bib re-uses Dryden Vos's legs.

Will get the Boba & Fennic figs, others are not needed. Eventually they will release Miggs / Bill Burr in his original look..that one I will get.
So I heard that the Vintage Collection Bib Fortuna is a better looking figure due to paint apps but not sure about the POA tho. Maybe one day you can inform us? Thanks as always.
