This is a fantastic video. We just purchased new doors for our Ikea kitchen cabinets, but of course the new doors don't fit the old cabinet style. I was thinking of doing this, but was hoping someone had done this before so I know that it works. Great tips in the video. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the instructions. This is exactly what I'm about to do in my little son's room - to use white plain Veddinge/Metod door instead of Oxberg. Now I have 2 Malm dressers side by side with 2 Billy bookcases on top - I feel that Veddinge matches much better to Malm :) Good luck with your videos.

This channel is really quite underrated. Came to find it via your video on removing security tags left on clothes which understandably has a million plus views, but there's quite a bit of handy know-how on the rest of the channel as well. You can also use the 'surface mount' Utrusta hinges, #20204647, which are almost identical to the ones supplied with the OXBERG doors. I can't guarantee the hole spacing will line up perfectly but it looks like the cabinet side is identical but the door side is only different to fit in the smaller hole on the OXBERG.
