I have listened to Rupert's guests share their frustration in efforts to "find", to "experience" this whatever it is that is called "Enlightenment", this wonderfulness that Jesus of Nazareth called the "Kingdom of God" or the "Kingdom of Heaven". I understand perfectly because, for forty-five (45) years, I was in that boat! A couple of things which helped me... 1) One cannot "find" that which one seeks while continuing to think in the same way one has always thought. Jesus referred to it when He was quoted as saying, "Repent ye, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!", using the Greek word, "metanoia", which means "to be of another mind". Unfortunately, it got quoted as "repent" which simply takes on down yet another rabbit hole. 2) What must be changed, if "finding" is to occur, is one's perspective. One must think in a different way. 3) A significant movement in my way of thinking occurred when I stopped thinking of what religion calls "God" as a being, and started thinking of it as "Being, Itself" or, as Rupert says, "Consciousness". That which we seek is Our Self. This is why Rupert quotes the sufi, Ali ibn Abi Talib, when he said, "When you find yourself, you will know your Lord; when you find your Lord, you will know Yourself". 4) Stop "seeking" and start "already Realizing. "Seeking" is an activity in which one who has not found participates. One who has found spends no time "seeking". If you could bypass all the intermediate steps and move to your final objective, what you would Know is that "There is nothing but You". This is why escaping our righteously held conviction with and adherence to "duality" is critical. There are no "others", there isn't anything "else". "You are all there is!" Be that Realization Now, hold it, own it, be it, and your search is over. It isn't easy, but it is that simple.

@@glynmwaka Point well taken; unfortunately, it isn't possible to do otherwise! All esoteric teaching leaves one hanging; consider the words of Socrates... "“I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think.” Consider the parables of Jesus... He spoke at great length about the Kingdom of Heaven but never told us what it is. He did tell us, however, "where it is" and "how to find it". He said it is within you (Holy Bible, King James Version: Luke 17: 20-21), and He told us to look for it (Holy Bible, King James Version: Matthew 7:7). That to which esoteric teaching might lead one cannot be conveyed with language. It is like trying to explain to someone who has never tasted a fresh cold orange that incredible explosion on one's taste buds that occurs with the first bite. To know, one must experience. I spent years thinking what I was looking for was going to be on the next page of my current read; it never was. Esoteric teaching can only provide clues, point one in a direction. Fortunately, two of Jesus' other teachings hold true... "Seek and ye shall find" (Holy Bible, King James Version: Matthew 7:7) and ""Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]" (Gospel of Thomas, Verse 2). As a side note, the "all" over which one will reign has nothing to do with other people, it references the diversity of aspects of personality within an individual ("Psychological Commentaries on the Teachings of Gurdjief and Ouspensky" by Maurice Nicoll). Some major things which helped me move beyond "hanging"... 1) Consider Jesus' instruction, “Repent ye, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand”. I found 27 places in the Old Testament where a word was translated into the English word, "repent". The word was the Hebrew word, "nacham", which means the same thing as the English word, "repent". I found 3 places in the Old Testament where a word was translated into the word, "repent". The word was the Hebrew word, "shub", which means "to turn back", which can be considered a connotation of the word "repent". (Though Jesus is thought to have spoken Aramaic, the language of the common people, Hebrew was the language of scholars and the clergy.) Interestingly, when Jesus said, “Repent ye, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand”, the word translated into the word "repent" was neither of these two words; it was the Greek word, "metanoia", which meant, "to be of another mind". Jesus told us we must "change the way we think"! 2) I quit thinking of God as a being and started thinking of God (Divinity) as Being (you might say "Beingness", itself). 3) Scientists have for years been attempting to determine how the brain, i.e. matter creates consciousness (not matter). If you research it, you will find they have not made one iota of progress! The reason is that brain doesn't create consciousness; it filters "Consciousness", resulting in consciousness! 3) From a Rupert Spira teaching (see RUclips), consider that "all experience is yourself". 4) Consider that Divinity (God) doesn't control everything. We were told in Genesis (1:28) that we have dominion over everything in our world. In the System under which we all operate, everything we do internally creates that which we experience externally. One perfect example of this is, : “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to You again." Suffering and any kind of Insufficiency... don't happened to you. It is your decision; it appears in your mind. So, to be very honest; you chose this instead of happiness, that your are. It is very important to find out and to understand, why we chose this way... It is actually insane; but we do it again and again... We are not slaves or victims..., we are free to chose... and we are, what we chose. So simple is it.
The anchient Greeks taught, "When you know yourself, you will know your Lord." Enlightenment is Awareness. A prerequisite is worship (spelled A T T E N T I O N)?
Know self and the emerald tablet understanding so above so below are two aspects of union with the divine ground. You might not get enlightened but in a way you will be when you are given the truth of your being . You will be inspired by the light of the consciousness of your source and thereby participate in the essence.
As I've become old I now realise the wisdom in "The kingdom of God is within you" Or maybe more succinctly, when Jung was asked did he believe in God? He replied "No..... I Know God" The wily old fox must have chuckled inside as he knew he was God. These poor souls in the audience are like little birds in a nest hungrily squawking for someone to feed them, not realising the infinite godlike power just waiting inside❤
One will only be Completed via being oneness with God. This sincere woman as seeker is aspiring for that Oneness through enlightenment, which cam be achieved through Holy Spirit in Christ with God father, ie Trinity. Excellence of Philosophy or wisdom as Paul says in Corinthian 2.1 won’t help; crucification of one’s small self with Christ so that the small self becoming the big Self, ie one with God in Christ, is the salvation path.
What Mooji Baba just said is more than powerful and relevant; it is critical to the possibility of one finding Their Self. There were times when it was the man, Jesus, speaking; there were times when Consciousness (with a capital "C"), what Jesus and Mooji Baba refer to as the "I AM", what religion calls "God", spoke using Jesus voice and lips. When Jesus said, "No one commeth to the Father, save by me", the "I AM" was saying "the only way is to Know Me". However, Jesus put us in the same boat with Him, saying, "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." Again, Mooji Baba referring to what Jesus said regarding Truth, "...and the truth shall make you free." Look at the entire verse, which starts with the one before it: "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8: 31-32 Holy Bible, King James Version. "...my word" refers to Jesus' teaching, which, of course, is the message in that teaching. Christian theology suggests that that which it calls "God" is omnipresent. This would not be possible if the "I AM" was not the Self that we actually are. Both Rupert Spira and Mooji Baba speak of "Realizing" One's Self. Knowing One's Self is the culmination of all "seeking". It is the Realization in Self Realization! Let's consider a silly little supposition which may help... Assume there is a giant wad of bubble gum as large as all the Universe. Now assume someone had the ability to reach out to that wad of bubble gum take a small pinch, roll it between their fingers into a little ball, and then with it still attached to the wad, string it out and place it in the chair in which You are sitting. So, in this silly supposition, that ball of chewing gum is you. If a horse has a rope around its neck and the other end is tied to a post, the horse, the rope, and the post are all connected. However, that ball of chewing gum isn't "connected" to the wad. It, the strung out portion, and the wad, are all a single entity of bubble gum. They aren't connected! This is the case w/ us. We aren't connected to omnipresent Consciousness (with a capital "C"); we are part and parcel with It. We are a manifested extension of it, as is all the Universe. The deficit, what is missing, is our Awareness of this fact, i.e. our Awareness of Our Self. Its just that that Self isn't what we have always taken our self to be, i.e. body, personality, ego, psyche, career abilities, social skills, etc. This is why Rupert, repeatedly tells us to "reverse our Attention, direct it inward, that we might gain Awareness of what is there, the Self that has never changed, never aged. If you would Know Your Self, simply Know that "THERE - ISNT - ANYTHING - BUT - YOU". To Know Your Self, You must give Your Self Attention. Worship is spelled A T T E N T I O N! It is perception, specifically, everything we always took as ourselves, which prevents us waking up. Get that there is only one piece of bubble gum, THERE - ISNT - ANYTHING - BUT - YOU, and your years of "searching" are finally over.
Intellectual understanding is not final, when calamities after calamities can't upset you or they passed unnoticed ,failed to divert you, then only you can live the understanding. Only understanding can't help you, guru is needed otherwise situation will wash away your direct understanding. True teacher will enjoy your liberation and he knows best when you no longer need any support. ❤
But what in being one with your passions like Sports, music, art and so on? I love doing my sport. A musician loves playing his instrument. That definitely makes happy!?
I think it is the recognition that there is no particular activity that is somehow producing happiness. I think on the contrary it is the fact you are open to the happiness that seems to derive from the activity that gives it space to manifest. In other words it's not important what "it" is. It is the removal of resistance, or judgment or fear or blame associated with your activity that translates as peace or happiness.

Here under my coment ...I see : " a clear answer of enlightment "...Actually, it was a speach about how to resolve simply the laberint that the " word " enlightment" create around human been .He sayd clear that is NOT AN EXPERIENCE .. than means : it is a fantasy as all what we see and even tho what we search to .
Begin by remembering the "sense of self" you had when you were six, then ten, then 22, etc. Get still and quiet and reverse the direction of Your attention, turning it inwards. See that same sense of self, still there. It hasn't aged; It hasn't changed; It doesn't have dimensions; It doesn't have borders. What You are looking for is You and it is that sense of self, which is actually Self. Consider the millions of times in Your Life that you spoke a sentence in which you said, "I"... "I am hungry", "I am going to the store", "I want to be enlightened", etc. Each time, Your focus was on the object of the sentence, your hunger, the store, whatever your sense of enlightement might have been. Never was it on "I", i.e. "You". Even when talking about yourself, as in "I am tired", your focus was on tired. The current suggestion is to set everything "of the world" aside, and turn Your Attention to Your Self. It actually is pretty simple; just notice "You". Spend some time practicing this, as, until we do, we don't have any experience doing so. See what, if anything, results...?
I loved when the woman said to Rupert, "Then why are all these people here??" She should've said, "Why are all these people here when you give them such unhelpful answers?" ....I'm so done with Rupert Spira; this woman was sincerely asking for help and he just kept saying "but it's right here"....Obviously that wasn't going to help her. Whoever it was who told her that her spiritual seeking was an "addiction" wasn't helping her either--- Jesus said to sell everything for the pearl of great price....I say her seeking is worthy, and won't go unfulfilled. Someone like Lisa Rose (there's a Buddha at the Gas Pump interview of her) went on an all out search, and found awakening.
It’s so simple you have missed it . Listen again to his words. Save this clip continue your path and set a reminder to come back to it. It really is just that simple ❤
I would say: make your ears wide open and listen again a spezialy to that what is between the lines i found it quite root to write such a comment ! as long as the finger shows to the outside, the work is not done !
that was listener’s opinion and he expressed it . What is actually rude is to bash other peoples spiritual paths and this is actually what Mr Rupert did.
Yup... Like so many gurus, it's just constant word salad. Gobbledigook. He speaks of we all want happiness. What? Surely deep contentment would cover happiness and so much more. He talks too much for me. Nice voice though🤣
Rupert can't give anyone Enlightenment; I can't give anyone Enlightenment. Consider that old song, "You got to walk that lomesome valley; you got to walk it by yourself. Ain't nobody else can walk it for you; you got to walk it for yourself!" Instead of seeking an experience, turn your attention inwards. Consider creating some room internally, but eliminating bias, judgement, identification, etc. The nature and tone of the conditions and circumstances of Your Life are created by all you do, say, think, feel, and harbor subconsciously. Get still and quiet and repeat, "I am aware that I am aware", then "I am aware", then I am" then "I". Then take the next step which is wordless, in which You experience "I" w/o saying the word "I". Watch Your thoughts and feeings; then attempt to see (sense) that which is thinking and feeling. Whatever You do, keep seeking. Read everything; find someone who can guide; experiment; test. With effort comes epiphany, and shifts in your way of thinking. Read "Commentaries on the Teachings of Gurdjief and Ouspensky" by Maurice Nicoll. Keep listening to Rupert Spira. Much that he said didn't resonate with me; then "All your experience is yourself" did! You must change the way You think (metanoia in Greek). When You get answers that don't help, ask again. Whatever You do, don't stop seeking!
The individual will never find enlightenment or can't be enlightened because the person doesn't exist. The seeking is an illusion, it's all about a contracted energy of being someone that collapses and no one does it. After the collapse, things always has happen and no one is doing anything. And there's nothing wrong with seeking. The only thing is that the seeker will never find what it longs for cause is already this.
If he condemns, criticises and ridicules the spiritual leaders (those of whom are truly good and have immense knowledge) I wonder if he knows where he himself has acquired this knowledge he says he there to impart providing for a 'turn-around'. He is aspiring for recognition and status and of course everything else that comes with it....
@@drmindfulness To criticise anything, good or bad, does not need any intelligence, wisdom or maturity. He of all people should know this. His response further reconfirm my observation of his plagiarisms and concoctions.

You know whats crazy the ‘ self ‘ tries to be enlightened tries to be or tries to be space or awareness of whatever but the self the i is a dream its an appearance it doesn’t even exist How can a self which does not exist become enlightened?
...never felt deeply touched by a special moment, when you become aware of a plant?...a tree? ...an animal? ...a bird? ...or a great view to the sky above a valley?
Who TRANSLATED the original biblical text & did they even know what the original writings said or did the scholars have the deep, DIVINE understanding to CORRECTLY interpret the original messages???? To this day, scholars continue to ARGUE over what certain items in the bible actually mean so WHY should i take seriously ANYTHING in a modern Bible??? I'll stick with my own, inner understanding & Divine Inperations! 😂
Regardless of what one believes; regardless of one's sources, all belief is opinion. The only thing one Knows is what one experiences; the only experience is awareness. Whatever one might think one experienced, the only thing which met consciousness was cognition, otherwise Known as Awareness. The teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, and those of every person of Wisdom throughout the history of humanity, are guides, which might point one in a direction in which one might experience an Awareness, the only source of Knowledge. Not to be confused w/ the teachings of the Apostle Paul, who never sat at Jesus' feet.
We are at the end of the Kali Yuga , the world is full of confusion and so called enlightened beings , that includes these two , they are talking nonsense…. God bless
Mooji is twisting Jesus's message. Jesus said no one comes to the Father except through me ( Jesus)BECAUSE after the fall of Adam man needed to be redeemed and reconsiled with God. And Jesus ( One of the Trinity) came to earth to redeem us from our sins. That is the the central teaching of the Gospel. These false teachers are deceptive !!! Yes Jesus existed before Abraham cuz he is the LORD.
Wath Realisation you are/have tath you know you are on the right path? When you realy anderstud jesus / you wuld know thath this man speek aboth christ it self. Dont be confuset about the diffrent word, see where the word pointin too. ❤
I felt Rupert wasn't helpful---the woman mentioned Eckhart Tolle; Eckhart HAD an "experience"--- Rupert says enlightenment isn't an experience, and that a cup of tea is way more "interesting"...Eckhart's "experience" stayed with him, it was sudden and perhaps unusual in that it doesn't happen that way for most people. But it seems to have been WAY more "interesting" than a cup of tea (nothing against cups of tea)--- Eckhart sat on park benches for months, in some kind of blissed out state
Ignorant people. You should have learned that mind is old. Only thoughts are new. Too many self-appointed so-called 'masters', 'babas', and 'gurus',. Just turn your eyes inwards and see your own beauty and qualities. No one can help you.

It is very important to find out and to understand, why we chose this way... It is actually insane; but we do it again and again...
We are not slaves or victims..., we are free to chose... and we are, what we chose.
So simple is it.
Self is always present, doesnt change, always content and lacks nothing-thats enlightened. Enlightenment is not an experience, its ones nature
YES!
The anchient Greeks taught, "When you know yourself, you will know your Lord." Enlightenment is Awareness. A prerequisite is worship (spelled A T T E N T I O N)?
Rupert's words are so clear! Enjoyed listening. Thanks for sharing 🙏❤️
They are!
Know self and the emerald tablet understanding so above so below are two aspects of union with the divine ground. You might not get enlightened but in a way you will be when you are given the truth of your being . You will be inspired by the light of the consciousness of your source and thereby participate in the essence.
Well Said.
A great and clarifying interview! Thank you! 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Both explained so well bravo❤❤
As I've become old I now realise the wisdom in "The kingdom of God is within you" Or maybe more succinctly, when Jung was asked did he believe in God? He replied "No..... I Know God" The wily old fox must have chuckled inside as he knew he was God. These poor souls in the audience are like little birds in a nest hungrily squawking for someone to feed them, not realising the infinite godlike power just waiting inside❤
Excellent Delivery Mooji!!💕💕
One will only be Completed via being oneness with God. This sincere woman as seeker is aspiring for that Oneness through enlightenment, which cam be achieved through Holy Spirit in Christ with God father, ie Trinity. Excellence of Philosophy or wisdom as Paul says in Corinthian 2.1 won’t help; crucification of one’s small self with Christ so that the small self becoming the big Self, ie one with God in Christ, is the salvation path.
Very beautiful teachings, thank you for both❤😊
What Mooji Baba just said is more than powerful and relevant; it is critical to the possibility of one finding Their Self.
Thank you for the extensive feedback.
Sehr wertvoll💙🙏💙Danke.
If God is I am and He is one with me then I AM too. It's just not me
Beautiful what a Teacher, with a capital T 🙏🏻❤
But what in being one with your passions like Sports, music, art and so on? I love doing my sport. A musician loves playing his instrument. That definitely makes happy!?
I think it is the recognition that there is no particular activity that is somehow producing happiness. I think on the contrary it is the fact you are open to the happiness that seems to derive from the activity that gives it space to manifest. In other words it's not important what "it" is. It is the removal of resistance, or judgment or fear or blame associated with your activity that translates as peace or happiness.
Thank you, from Somers Point NJ
Welcome!
A realised Master or Guru is God himself and is very much required for a seeker as his guide.God doesnt have a mind,he is blind.A Guru who is realised or enlightened, who is Sthithapragya, acts as Gods mind and eyes. But beware of fake gurus.
.I am a Heartfulness Practitioner and this system, which is one of the largest spiritual system in India, and was formed by a realised Guru and is now under the guidance of Padmabhushan Kamlesh patel, who is known as Daaji, who is 4th in the lineage of Gurus.Heartfulness is spread across 160 countries in the world now. Thanks to the Great Masters.
Before enlightenment chopping wood and carrying water, after enlightenment chopping wood and carrying water…….I Am
That was so original... thanks for sharing
Before enlightenment, you are chopping wood and carrying water. After enlightenment, there is just chopping wood and carrying water…without a “you” doing it.
@@justmort13 right! And that's why you feel the need to watch these videos and comment too, right? Because you don't exist, you have dropped the 'me'?
Oh Jesus! Things the human mind can do to itself.
Enlightenment is another useless concept. Everything and nothing is simply now.NOW NOW NOW. In front, behind, around , and in and out.
BEING : Be in God [Spirit I AM - of God] : born into time as this Human Being : "Be humane in God's grace" .. so, Be in Grace & Gratitude for Being Awake in the heart on earth. the alternative is Being lost in personalities and mental, ego-based narratives, also known as momentary alternatives, aka lies and personal opinions presented as identities' truth.
Mooji explained the I AM very well.
One could say this woman has been extremely overthinking and unfortunately caused herself a lot of stress. I would have hope some close friends might have help ground herself
There is nothing wrong with mantras, yoga, people connecting, there is nothing wrong with any path which brings to realization of your essence.
So true
[no thing as everything]
You stop -> enlightenment -> you that stopped never return.
Not thinking no matter what = you stop
I have to think while I am on this plane.
But this guy over-thinks.
He is too intellectual.
Having had an out of body period was very useful for me. There was no thinking or explaining.
This man explains his perception. But not mine.
❤❤❤🙏🏻
But i still haven't found what i am looking for... 😢
haven't we all
Begin by remembering the "sense of self" you had when you were six, then ten, then 22, etc.
I would say:
make your ears wide open
and listen again
a spezialy to that
what is between the lines
i found it quite root to write such a comment !
as long as the finger shows to the outside, the work is not done !
that was listener’s opinion
and he expressed it .
🙏🙏

I am is dream illusion the i am is seperation
The individual will never find enlightenment or can't be enlightened because the person doesn't exist. The seeking is an illusion, it's all about a contracted energy of being someone that collapses and no one does it. After the collapse, things always has happen and no one is doing anything. And there's nothing wrong with seeking. The only thing is that the seeker will never find what it longs for cause is already this.
Well Said.
Criticism is a tricky thing. Is it ego or truth. Sometimes it’s hard to tell.
@@drmindfulness To criticise anything, good or bad, does not need any intelligence, wisdom or maturity. He of all people should know this. His response further reconfirm my observation of his plagiarisms and concoctions.
Intelectual people always searching for details explanation for everything from A to Z,meanwhile spirituality means "shut up and be in silence" you are not exist!🤣🤣🤣
fron one addiction to anorher apparently more sublime
You know whats crazy the ‘ self ‘ tries to be enlightened tries to be or tries to be space or awareness of whatever but the self the i is a dream its an appearance it doesn’t even exist
How can a self which does not exist become enlightened?
...never felt deeply touched by a special moment, when you become aware of a plant?...a tree? ...an animal? ...a bird? ...or a great view to the sky above a valley?

Who TRANSLATED the original biblical text & did they even know what the original writings said or did the scholars have the deep, DIVINE understanding to CORRECTLY interpret the original messages????
To this day, scholars continue to ARGUE over what certain items in the bible actually mean so WHY should i take seriously ANYTHING in a modern Bible???
I'll stick with my own, inner understanding & Divine
Inperations!
Self can't get out of self 😂
Jesus was talking a lot about false prophets, and lovers of themselves and money. They are everywhere on RUclips!
Maby you ar olso one ..?
Wath Realisation you are/have tath you know you are on the right path?
When you realy anderstud jesus / you wuld know thath this man speek aboth christ it self. Dont be confuset about the diffrent word, see where the word pointin too.

Baba, conjecture isnt really useful here. Please tell me about what you DO. Its like pub talk. Thank you for the video btw 🙂
