I like that you’re a content creator that’s doesn’t live in la. Cos la content feels over saturated. I get reasons for moving there. I just think since you can create content anywhere it’s nice as a viewer to see more of the world than the same city again and again.
It's so easy to get depressed or feel down when you dont go out after work at least like 2 times a week. Sometimes even a 30 minute walk is such a game changer 🤞
Dude I look up to you so much bc I’m studying computer science in college rn and seeing you as a dev and fashion icon and you just have like such a dream life idk you’re healthy and secure attachment and working the same career i aspire to have is so inspiring to me lmao, i aspire to have your work life balance and hobbies and seeing your content just makes me so excited for my career and life
YO THIS IS SO NICEEEEEEEE i was in your position like less than 2 years ago. computer science is such a hard degree!!! but hang in there and it gets so much better once you graduate! and hell yes i really focus on balance. it's totally doable. thanks for the support!!!
This was so eye-opening to me. I’m also a software developer working remotely and struggling a lot to have a social life not necessarily connected to my job. This video made me want to try painting again. How do you find those places to actually make friends and get to know people?? Having a hard time with that too. Love the vids, love the outfit and keep going and you’ll get there :)
yo! yeah that's been something i struggled a lot with. for me the best solution so far has been building in weekly social things outside of work that are built in - i tried workout classes and found a gym i really liked, i coach youth basketball twice a week, at one point i took a weekly painting class, and i've joined adult sports leagues and played kickball on saturdays & stuff like that. those are all good ways to meet people and get you out the apartment. if i have nothing planned i'll go on really long walks with podcasts too.
@@claire_holt12 yeah, I’m looking more into that this weeks, some group sports or anything really that makes me go out of the house and just have some fun. I’m going back to some old hobbies that I left, it’s been a journey haha
This is so inspiring and grounds me. As a college student who has had the identity crisis between chasing money or chasing passion , your videos have helped me realize I don’t have to force myself to just choose one and can live life with a balance. thank you :)
yessss you don't have to pick just one! also if you pick a career and don't like it - you can pivot, and lots of people do that. lower the pressure on yourself. cheers!
these videos keep me going, you really are my inspo forever. it's like sitting in therapy with claire in front of you telling you you're gonna be alright and that life is gentle if you are gentle. I LOVE YOUUU :) [cadwi here!!]
dude i have been binge watching your videos this week and they have honestly motivated me so much! I came to the realization that I've been prioritizing bed rot on my days off, and it was genuinely making me miserable. surprisingly, it was more draining than rejuvenating for me personally. i've decided to make time for other activities and finally reignite my creative hobbies and i think it's going to be a real game-changer for me this year. thank u for the inspiration :)
ahhhhhhh that’s awesome!! i’ve definitely being doing the same and it’s totally been a game changer in terms of happiness/well being/feeling balanced. it’s so cool that my video inspired you, thank you for the support! wooo now i’m all fired up❤
I follow you on Instagram and have never seen any of your youtube videos before. I'll be watching a lot more from now on!!!! Love your energy, love hearing what you think, and tbh you being who you are has made me realise the joys of presenting masc. I cut my hair last month and have never been happier!!
🥹🥹 thank you so so much!!! you’ve got me HYPED UP!! a big reason i started making content in the first place was to be that representation for people so this means a lot, thank you
Please continue making these videos! Would love a video where you dive on your masculinity/gender and confidence. By the way, are you left handed? Noticed it when you were painting!
@@claire_holt12 yeah! Claire, also have to say it’s refreshing how you are doing other things with this yt channel and talking about things outside of fashion, which is what you’re known for online. Don’t worry about speaking on self-improvement, it’s a worthwhile topic although saturated. Please talk more about books! A whole video on that would be delightful. Your videos remind of those of Jade Fox! Take a look at how she titles her videos bc I think there’s a lot to learn, she uses great keywords
Didn't know you had a RUclips channel! Love how I'm getting to know you more :) p.s i sent a dm (well voice notes) to you on creator claire like a week ago
Hello Claire! I love how you expressed ur personal and social life balance and how you need to walk yourself like a dog haha. How did you become a software developer and what were the steps that you took?

yeah for sure. i think about that a lot. maybe san diego is a better idea haha
Yeah, and you’d be closeish enough to visit la. And visit Encinitas which is a super cute beach town.
17 minutes and I wasn't bored! Girl You're a smart content creator
omg this means a lot to me! thank you so much!

from someone who just started RUclips after your video about the power of getting started: how do you use copyright music without getting copyrighted?
