best game :)
It's a shame you've never finished Peace Walker
One of the most memorable moments in MGS for me is when you encounter Gray Fox in his Cyborg Ninja outfit. That was pretty cool
:o I didn't know untill just now that Tara Strong voiced Paz. She's so awesome! XD
i also love the final boss fight in metal gear 3 and pc
My favorite moment from the entire Metal Gear series was during Peace Walker Battle 2-3
It was just plain dramatic and I still get goosebumps watcing it, sitting through those signature cutscenes.
I actually like this, it's short and sweet, and it gives you just a taste of what's to come.
My most memorable moment was the ending monologue that "Colonel" and "Rose" gave to Raiden at the end of Metal Gear Solid 2. Just the realization of what their plan was all along blew my mind. In that instant I started to connect all the dots and figure out what the Patriots were doing. It was amazing.
Jack Bauer voicing Big Boss... this I like
my favorite moment in the metal gear solid series so far is the battle between metal gear Rex and metal gear ray from metal gear solid 4, a battle between the biggest and most bad ass machines ever created!
Yeah that was tight.
that and the return Shadow Moses, all the memories and things come flooding back. the hallway, grey fox... bad ass!
colton stutsman Mine was "FISSION MAILED"
My most memorable moment was in metal gear solid guns of the patriots at the end where snake and liquid fight to the death with no guns on the top of that massive ship.
Yes the best moment in MGS4. The only thing more epic was when you got to be Rex.
If my memory is correct you can also be Rex in the end of MSG guns of the patriots
Well near the end...
My favorite moment is that microwave scene in MGS4! The background music, the slow motion, and the fighting scene on the top... I loved the slow motion a lot, it truly brought me into the game. EMOTIONS!!!
Big Boss' speech at the end of mgs4
My favorite moment in the MGS series is the conversation between Solid Snake and Big Boss. It was just that EPIC. Thanks for sharing this gameplay Tetraninja.
David hayter for life
Returning to Shadow Moses Island, especially the helipad part, seeing Snake's flashbacks, listening to "The best is yet to come"....shivers all over
what happened to the sound that goes off when your spotted and the "!" shows up?
Most memorable moment i would have to say is when Old Snake(MG4) is making his way through the microwave corridor. It was a beautifully made scene that gives you the sense of what snake was feeling and going though the whole game. but then again i love every bit of Metal Gear :D
Did Chico pulled out the earphones in his chest? HOLY FUCK
my favorite part was the intro to mgs4 it was one of the best mgs intros and I love the octo camo
The Fox Engine was created by Kojima's team and this is the first game using it. Why do you say it always pushes the consoles to their limits? Or if I'm wrong please tell me what other games use it and in what consoles.
You have a piont. But the way Tetra Ninja was talking about the engine was like if it was another engine used on many games on multiplatform like the Unreal engine. I guess it was an out of the moment comment and he didnt think it through. Lets hope MGS5 looks even better that Ground Zeroes, though I doubt it.
I agree with you. The fight with The Boss, with Snake Eater playing in the background, is my most memorable moment in the MGS series.
8 adverts in a 30 minute video, really?!
My most memorable moment was Playing MGS on the PlayStation. When I was little I reached all the way to the Rex battle, I fought valiantly against the beast, but to my demise he would always win. Fast forward to my teen years I finally beaten my first MGS game which was Sons of Liberty, after defeating all of those ray replicas I decided to tackle on an old enemy of mine. Rex. I replayed the whole game until the moment I had to encounter my childhood nemesis right in front of me. The battle went on for almost two hours, but when I fired that last Stinger missile into the beast mouth…. I had at last vanquished my old foe and a sign off relief and excitement filled my entire day. That was a pretty awesome moment in my life.
crawling half of the time shooting with a handgun from 50 meters away... smh
Most memorable moment in the MGS series is the very first mission in MGS2 just because I used to play that level a lot as a kid and its the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions the series.
Kiefer Sutherlands voice-over isn't half as bad as everyone portraits it to be
all y'all are over-reacting and over-exaggerating for nothing
I know. I seen people say they wouldn't buy this game due to it. Honestly, the voice was going to happen sometime. I mean, what if David die form something. how would he voice Snake then? Things have to change sometimes
The only reason they are using his voice is because they needed to motion capture facial expressions of who is doing the voice and David Hayters voice isn't a real voice. He has to for himself to do it. Keifers voice is his own.
Berkenbeek I think Keifer's voice goes really well with Snake's character model for V. I still prefer David but Keifer holds his own.
In retrospect, Mr. Sutherland did a great job as Big Boss. People weren't upset that he was chosen, since he is well-liked; rather, people were upset because of the unbelievably callous manner in which Mr. Hayter was unceremoniously discarded. As someone who had put his blood, sweat, and tears into several installments of this legendary franchise, he was treated beyond poorly. Another reason that people were miffed at the change was that it had no solid reasoning behind it. The face of Big Boss looked nothing like Sutherland's (by design) and the Japanese voice actor remained unchanged. Because of this, most people have come to the conclusion that Mr. Kojima replaced Hayter purely because he wanted a Hollywood movie star to make himself feel more like a movie director. The facts that he tried to do this on two previous games (unsuccessfully) and that Ms. Zimmerman literally stated as much (on public record) greatly support that theory. As much as I detest Konami in recent years, I can't help but see their treatment of Kojima as a microcosm of karmic retribution for his treatment of Hayter. It also served as an abject lesson that no one is above being replaced in this industry.
The most memorable moment for me is probably the beginning of Metal Gear Solid 2, and the beginning of the plant mission.
It was so epic seeing Snake just toss the cigarette away and then jump off of the bridge with the stealth camouflage, then the electricity going through his body.
And the beginning of the plant mission, I thought it was Snake, but then I heard Raiden's voice and thought that something might have happened to his voice during the tanker, but then when I played as Raiden, I thought, "Who the hell is this?"
What a boring way to play a new MGS game. Who wants to watch you take prone tranq headshots?
Probably people who like to play MGS for what it is: a stealth game.
Shut-In Spaceman
Exactly, I mean what the hell lol?
***** lol Mkay. Then can you please explain the addition of the well-thought out CQC system, multiple ways to distract and evade guards and the cover system? Who the fuck actually believes you're supposed to IGNORE all the features in the game in favor of shooting a guy with 2-3 tranq darts? In any other difficulty besides normal and below, you CAN'T do that. Especially in previous MGS games. If you play the game like this, you're just plain bad. No tactical abilities. You play how I played MGS3 when I was in 5th grade
In fact, the tranq gun should be your 2nd or 3rd option. Your first being completely avoid enemies. That way you don't run the risk of causing suspicion or fucking up the very limiting enemy patrol routs. I don't know about you, but immersion is semi-important to me so watching the legendary Big Boss lying on the ground attempting to headshot an unnecessary guard then missing 2 or 3 times is fucking stupid.
Connor K
He was really annoying me with the way he was playing this...
My most memorable moment in MGS Story is in MGS 4 when Snake needs to pass like a microwave tunel at the end to reach and figth his brother. I almost cry thinking that he was not going to make it. Thanks for make me remember that moment Nick.
my most memorable MGS memory is when I played the demo for MGS that came on a demo disc along with a bunch of other video game demos, I had just recently got the first Playstation on Christmas and I think the demo for mgs must have been one of the first games if not the first game I ever played on it, I remember being absolutely blown away by the opening cut scene where snake is swimming in the wetsuit at the time it seemed so movie like and, it was really groundbreaking at the time, I had never seen anything like it, it definitely made a big impression on me and made me a long time fan of the series.
The most memorable moment in the MGS series is the fight with the end. Epic sniper fight right there. I like how it was an optional boss fight. Something that shouldn't be missed though...
favorite moment was when u fighting Psycho Mantis and he read your memory card and was making the controller vibrate...freaked me out back in the day lol
My favorite moment from the Metal Gear series is the opening song for Metal Gear Solid 3, I played through it so much that just hearing the Snake Eater song gives me chills
My favorite moment was the Microwave hall scene from MGS 4!
My most memorable moment from the entire series is the first scene in which Naked Snake has his M1911 and explains his handle carving trick for CQC. It just shows how much the guy knows what he's doing, you know?
My most memorable moments in the series are:
1. when big boss kills the boss, and is awarded with his title
2. and the final fight between ocelot and solid snake, "you are pretty good".
Favorite moment is from Twin Snakes when Snake encounters Grey Fox while talking to Otacon and says, "Hey, you're that ninja…"
easily my most memorable memory from MGS in the realisation for everyone at the end of mgs2. ocelots speech is legendary
The most memorable moment has to be in Metal Gear Solid IV when Snake is going through that long microwave tube. He's struggling to get through all the way while he's being cooked. Not only that during that entire part there was a split screen showing what was happening to everyone else. That with the music that was playing was so epic.
my favorite moment is the first mission on the first MGS, so much nostalgia... the beginning of all my love to the franchise
the final fight between Ocelot and snake while flashbacks about the past games occur is my most memorable monents, alongwith cyber ninja Raiden's first appearance in MGS 4
I have had so many MGS moments over the years, but my most memorable would have to be the battle with Psycho Mantis in the original MGS when he shows you that he is capable of reading your mind(really just reading data of your memory card) by telling you which games which you have previously played.Never again will I be blown away by a character as I was with Psycho Mantis.
For some reason my favourite moment was in MGS 4 when you revisit Shadow Moses. Especially the bit where Naomi stays behind and as Otacon is being dragged away he says 'just when I was ready to fall in love again' i literally nearly projectile sobbed when he said that
the two that ties in my MG experience is the death of gray fox and the microwave hallway... the feels
My most memorable moment is from MGS2: "Hal... Hal... I miss you... I miss you Hal...". Not gonna lie, I broke down crying.
The fight with Psycho Mantis! That battle was just so good.
I love the "Vic Boss!" scene in Peace Walker, or when Peace Walker "kills" itself.
The best moment in MGS history to me was that final (surprise) cutscene at the end of MGS 4. Big Boss reveals himself to Solid Snake, and the two get their closure
Probably my favorite moment in the Metal Gear series is the final boss in MGS4.
My most memorable moment in the entire metal gear solid franchise is the finale of mgs4 guns of the patriots. Where everybody gets debriefed and that was very touching :)
Favorite moment would be Snake and Liquid Ocelot's final showdown atop Outer Haven in MGS4.
I love that shudder sound you made when Chico pulls the headphone jack from his chest. lol
My favourite part of the entire series definitely has to be the ladder in MGS3. On a more serious note, the battle between the Boss and Snake is absolutely heart wrenching. That takes the cake.
Most memorable moment of metal gear solid when snake smiles at the begin nof mgs3 just adds to that badass level
My most memorable moment in MGS is in MGS4 when you escape from the Gekkos by using Snake. Brilliant intro to a brilliant game!
Awesome Walkthrough Nic. Can't wait to get this game.
My most memorable moment was meeting Grey Fox for the first time. He looked so badass and I couldn't wait to work with him or face him.
My favorite moment was when Snake was fighting Liquid at the end of MGS 4. I loved how the music plays from the previous games, plus the flashbacks too. Ah one of the best fist fights in games. :) PS3 platform, thank you. :D
My favorite moment from MGS is the first fight with revolver Ocelot in MGS1 on the PSX. It was so cinematic at the time - totally sold me on the whole series!
My most memorable moment in MGS is definitely when Old Snake talks with Big Boss at the cemetary in MGS 4.
My most memorable moment from the series, was when Snake was told the real mission of The Boss, and how she was really a Patriot and not a Traitor, and then he salutes at her grave. Tears ran down my face! TT
Most memorable Metal Gear Solid memory.... The boss fight with The Fear (i think it was). That fight i couldnt get out of my head. It was so special because of the character.
My most memorable moment would be when Solid Snake and Big Boss meet up at the end of MGS 4. The "father" and "son" moment of reconciliation was great.
My personal favorite moment is from MGS 1 when snake enters the hallway with all the dead soldiers. I knew the next boss fight was going to be awesome.
My favorite Metal Gear moment was the final fistfight between Old Snake and Liquid Ocelot. A close second is the "fight" between Naked Snake and The Sorrow.
Most memorable moment is mgs1 when fighting psycho mantis and he tells you to put the controller on the floor and his power will make it move 😂 plus it was quite a tricky battle having to pause and switch controller ports from time to time lol
My All time favorite moment, is in MGS4 right after Snake Gets his butt handed to him by Liquid Ocelot, after the battle you get to see johnny for the 1st time and he professes his love for Meryl, it was a great, humorous way to tie the stories and it always makes me smile thinking about it :)
My favorite moment in the MGS saga is the epilogue in MGS4. The whole thing. Most people complained that it dragged on for too long, but it was just like 2 hours and 30 minutes of fan service for me. Rarely is a series ended with such vehement and heartfelt care.
I'm a long time MGS fan who is also poor.
GOD, i love this game....
the music, voice actor , graphic, game play and story is just perfect...
i can't think of better franchise than this one...
the producer team always give their best for making a MGS game and it never disappoint me.. they take their time to make one game unlike other franchise...
my most favorite moment is , the gray fox death from the first metal gear , that scene was ojdsfosdjfdjf so epic
I think my most memorable moment, is the first Ocelot encounters in MSG3. The very first one, and then when EVA is involved. Her on that bike destroying... that was epic.
My favorite moment in the MGS series was Liquid Snake vs Solid Snake at MGS 1 on PsOne.
When Liquid says: "YOU
ARE
MY
BROTHER!"
Yes, that was just this line and I thought that it was epic.
Hands down most memorable moment was fighting Psycho mantis and having to switch the controllers and memory cards It was epic!! kojima is a pioneer in the gaming industry!
This game has way to many favorite memories. i just love the series
When big boss and solid snake have a surprising and final meeting in mgs 4 is my most memorable. This scene closed the whole snake saga with a boe tie.
Favorite mgs moment was fighting against Liquid snake at the end of mgs4: guns of patriots. Great walkthrough btw
My most memorable moment was the first time a guard spotted my footsteps in the snow and started to follow them very start of MGS ps1 just remember thinking this is going to be great.
Sup tetra. My favorite moment was when you fight that old dude with the bird in the jungle in metal gear 3. That was the coolest cat and mouse sequence in any video game until the last of us came out. Then the restaurant part with Ellie and that psycho in winter took the reigns.
One of the most memorable moments? When Big Boss tells snake to move on and dies laying on the grave of The Boss, the first time I watched that I cried
So yeah, 360 Copy and I liked the Last fight between Solid and Liquid. I didnt write the console last time and also I really appreciate the upload. I got to your channel looking for Metal Gear Fans and Walkthroughs and have stayed ever since. Keep the videos coming man!
My most memorable moment in the metal Gear solid series was the boss battle in the first game against metal gear and liquid....this was my first stealth game and to face a giant machine like metal Gear and then a hand to hand combat battle on top of it ill never forget that
My most memorable moments are the end of mgs4, you have snake crawling through the microwave tunnel, raiden is kickin ass even without his arms and merryl and johnny are surrounded, telling each other how they feel. That and the final cutsceen. A great ending that gave sence of closure to one of the greatest game sagas of all time. Cant wait to jump back into the mgs universe with ground zeros and hopefully by end of this year or beginning of next with phantom pain. David Hayter ftw!!!
Can't believe it's taken this long to follow you. Thanks for the walkthrough!
Goddamn do I love that song. It's so repetitive but it builds to such a haunting crescendo. The "That agony is your triumph" lyric is from one of the last things that Vanzetti said before his execution.
Fuzzy Dunlop
Its so addictive
Most memorable moment is the fight with the End in MGS3, just because you're not really sure what to expect of him on first glance
My most memorable moment from the Mgs games was Mgs 3 boss fight with THE END, the best sniper fight ever.
I've never played or seen a playthrough for any metal gear solid game so I'm quite excited
The boss fight with the sorrow from metal gear solid 3 was probably my favorite because it was just so creepy, his life bar is down because he is already dead, and the more people you killed the longer the fight was.
My memorable moment in MG history is Old Snake meeting Big Boss again at the end of MGS4. I do have a lot more as i am a big metal gear fan i love all the games & i can't wait to play MGSV
Favorite moment comes from MGS3 after Snake beats the Boss. I literally sat in front of my TV for a good 10 minutes before I realized I needed to pull the trigger to finish her. I may have gotten something in my eye when that happened.
Metal gear solid 4 Guns of the Patriots was my favorite most memorial game with snake and big boss having their talk about for it all began
My most favorite memory of Metal Gear Solid is the part in MGS2 where Raiden gets his sword. That was pretty cool!
My most memorable moment in Metal Gear was the moment in Sons of Liberty when you realize you're not controlling Snake. The Raiden reveal is still, to me, one of the great sleight of hands in video game history. Didn't see it coming and was amazed that they were willing to make such a radical departure.
My most memorable moment was probably the naked raiden. It was so bizarre especially when the major called and said all this weird stuff like YOU ARE TOO CLOSE TO THE TV SCREEN!! And stuff like that. But my favorite was mgs 3.
my moment was my first attemp on MGS 2 where i searched all over for the door to the room full of marines, ragequit, played MGS1 and beat it in 3hrs, started a new MGS2 game and beat it quick, loved the story and the characters.
My favourite moment was the ultimate showdown between old snake and liquid ocelot! So Nostalgic
The cardboard box conversation between Snake and Signit in MGS3, freaking hilarious
My most memorable moment will always be in MGS 4 during Twin Suns and at the end playing the Fight of the Metal Gears
It was a small thing, but Snake and Otacon's secret handshake bro hug in MGS2.
Epic.
my most memorable moment in the mgs series is prob the fight against the End. The multiple ways to defeat him and the length of time it took, was an epic battle
OH MY JESUS! Been waiting for this Nic! I have my popcorn ready~~:D
most memorable moment has to be the fight with the shagohod and the bike ride up to it.
The final fight with boss in MGS3 ^^ & the music just set the mood. too prefect
