The blueprint seems to call for a possession-dominant midfield run by Enzo Fernandez which, apart from boding badly for Conor Gallagher, suggests that Maresca would be their ideal candidate. On the Infinite Athlete situation. The original tweet was just badly worded, nothing deep. It made it sound like their partnership with Chelsea was done but actually they meant the shirt sponsorship is done. If Infinite Athletes investors thought the whole partnership was done then it would hurt Infinite Athlete. They will still be handling the clubs media like highlights, live streams and also the performance analysis end of things with the Biocore side of their business too. So they had to reword the tweet.
Man U never recovered from Fergie leaving so a modern club structure sounds good if the owners allow the Manager and Back Room Staff to do their stuff.
I think you are wrong. That's the main reason Man U never recovered. They allowed Fergie to run things and define the club's football philosophy when he left no one to continue. In modern football, you define the club football philosophy and then find managers to suit it. That's my view and could be wrong.
Graham.potter was an english manager , english managers are dumb by nature that is why we must avoid kerren mckener , enzo.marisca is the guy for chelsea
Given what we saw of Leicester in the second half of last season, I'm scared of Maresca. He won 32 points in the second half of the championship season. In 23 games with the best squad in the history of the division. Poch won 38 in the prem in 19.

With those 3 I at least see a chance of it working out but Maresca has almost nothing to show for. The way people analyze and talk about De zerbi is so wrong. He got his entire midfield taken and they gave him horrible replacements. Everyone knows games are won and lost in the midfield in the premier league. His defense is and was absolutely shocking. We have far better players here at Chelsea and I think he would have us playing better football. De Zerbi would be the best option for this team.
I think it's worth mentioning that inexperienced is only referring to experience as a head-coach. Most of those guys were able to work with head-coaches as assistant managers or as head-coaches of youth teams, so they do have some experience to show for. Not exactly the same but also not nothing. McKenna had 54 games a youth coach and was an assistant coach for Man United for 200 (!) games. Hoeneß already coached Hoffenheim for ~80 games, various Bayern youth teams for a total of more than 100 games and the Leipzig U17 for 26 games. All pretty successfully. Maresca has 60 games as an assistant under Pep, 64 under Pellegrini at West Ham, 28 games coaching the Man City U23 and 14 games as the Parma head-coach (Parma stint was apparently pretty bad). Amorim is an outlier with almost not even having coach a youth team. Transfermarkt says he coached Braga B for 3 months but they don't know for how many games and apart from that he seems to have always been a head-coach. He's also an outlier by somehow having been a pretty successful and sought after and coach for 5 years now and he's not even 40 yet.

McKenna's playing style doesn't suit what the new ownership wants, and we can't afford a bidding war with United. I think we can get Maresca entirely on our own terms and probably for less money. This is very possibly how the new board is thinking.
Next Pep because he is bald and plays possession style football? Can't remember Pep managing anything but top level club with ungodly amount of resources. Pep never had to prove himself starting from scratch with a team with scarce resources in a lower league. Maresca might have a lot in common with Pep except being a chequebook manager.
@@nothanks3236 It absolutely does and he should have more UCL's like Jose who won one with low resources at Porto and another one with the oldest squad to ever win the UCL at Inter. Shall i talk about the victories Ancelotti has in the top tier cup competitions? Yeah Pep is overrated because if he was this Godlike manager he would have found a solution today and they looked lost today also make no mistake about it the goal they scored wasn't because of Pep tactics but down to Doku's skills! Also United played the same defensive style and counter last time in the league against City and scored through Rashford and it was down to Foden to save 3 points for City. Pep's doesn't seem to have a great game management.
I am finding this whole thing depressing. No one can get in the way of his ego, and I can’t help thinking this is not going to end well. Eghbali thinks he has the talent of Abramovitch, but clearly doesn’t.
Kieran McKenna is better, no way could Maresca take Leicester up with the Ipswich team, we don't need a new Pep we need, a new super star and Kieran McKenna is that man.
Chill out about De Zerbi, guy got robbed out of his best players and Brighton didn't replace them with new talents this year. Think about it, is any club interested buying any player from Brighton this year? Not really.
They are saying it’s hours before we find out surely that could mean it’s Ruben because in 48 hours Sporting would have played the cup game and Ruben would be free from club obligations and the announcement can be made. Yes he finish 11th this season but ffs they've lost Caicedo, McAlliste,e Trossard, Colwill and Undav in span of half year! Add Cucurella and Bissouma half year prior to that. De zerbi is my best take at this moment. I think with his style of play, if he is given the right quality of player like we already have in the squad, he will be the next pep.
Maresca is not Chelsea quality and doesn’t have the personality either. In 6 months time Maresca, is getting sacked. Because if they parted ways with Pochettinho an experienced manager that has won things (regardless of it being with PSG) he’s getting booted mate. The Chelsea faithful who were falling in love with Poch will now be super scruffy with Maresca if he is employed

When is Chelsea buying Tony Bloom? 🤔
if its few hours we know . and ten hag is his last game today . could be him
Tuchel please😢❤
De zerbi is my best take at this moment. I think with his style of play, if he is given the right quality of player like we already have in the squad, he will be the next pep.
Ayy you watch SNG?? 🤝🏾🤝🏾
My money is on Maresca.
Is he Pep and Arteta level though cos apparently that's what the owners are looking for
@@errrr286 I dunno, but he is the one I think they will select
Complete wild card lol....... what about Zidane
He won't come to England. He'll only manage in France or Spain.
RDZ is the one.others just smoke screen
Maresca is not Chelsea quality and doesn’t have the personality either. In 6 months time Maresca, is getting sacked. Because if they parted ways with Pochettinho an experienced manager that has won things (regardless of it being with PSG) he’s getting booted mate. The Chelsea faithful who were falling in love with Poch will now be super scruffy with Maresca if he is employed
People need to realize owner is the dodgers owner as well or the organization. He has taken the model of the Oakland A’s aka algorithm statistics. They aren’t as dumb as people think. I feel like boehly depends on stats and aka algorithms so he is going this route and to me is we have to be patient. BOEHLY does not own losing teams period he wants to win and win big he is like the cowboys owner but silently wait till he wins trophies he will get cocky
Yeah but they've been developing the "moneyball" strategy in baseball for almost 30 years. They haven't quite figured out the right formula for football though...
💙
we are freefalling without knowing anything...T.T
There is no way I will support someone like De Zerbi even if he will become our manager.....I will count the days to him being sacked. Josè would make me happy, even for only 1 or 2 years as he will have a massive impact on our kids mentality.
Namaste 🙏🏼
Yan, we all know you're the REAL manager of CFC
Lol!
Hi Yan💙
Porch is the reason we are where we are Today, yet u guys are crying over he leaving
4 days and counting
I’m at the point where I love the beautiful game but just actually want Chelsea to lose their next 20 games get relagated through FFP and we get demoted to tier 3 and Clearlake will reluctantly have to sell and we can just support the badge
Hey Einstein, the contracts they signed when purchasing the club have clauses that prevent them from selling the club for a fixed number of years (I forget how many but at this point it's like another 8 years). They couldn't sell the club even if they wanted to.
@@nothanks3236 Bit offensive also ignorant Clearlake can’t sell the entire club until 2032 but could at any point sell a controlling interest and remain as minority investors. Sooooo it could happen. At least know your facts before insulting people on here muppet😅
@@stephenhumberstone7636 Go cheer for City plastic fan.
Where’s the cat?
