About time we got a decent medium-sized steamroller, and the price is great! Definitely getting this set on my birthday next year. Now all we need is a good 5+ cement mixer and maybe a new excavator, bulldozer, and motor grader...
They just recently released a Front Loader Backhoe(but no digger bucket included) for 2023 that oddly is gonna retire on Dec. 31st(it sold well so I don't know why they discontinued it). A Construction Worker Crew set with maybe some tools, construction barricades, signs and an Electronic Lane Closing Board would be nice. Either that or a Construction Center would be nice(they released one way back in the early 80's).
@@dmonsef I just got the backhoe this Christmas, good thing I did it seems if they're discontinuing it. Lego does have a need to make a 3-stud-wide bucket for the rear actor.
Will buy 2 of these to add to my big construction crew unit. This reminds me of the Construction Steer Loader they released years ago, but never followed it up with any other type of Construction set.
@@TeletubiesBabyTV After the hell I went through trying to align the stickers on the blue mobile crane, I do NOT ever want to see another sticker again.
Box art for it looks good. Just one small detailed mistake LEGO made regarding the set. By Construction standards this is not a Steam Roller, but a Road Roller. A Road Roller has the back tires, while a Steam Roller has the cylinder-shaped rollers both front and back. You can't use a road roller on asphalt because the back tires could melt or imprint tire marks(the fresh asphalt would actually stick to the rubber tires) in the freshly, hot asphalt road.
That's not what "steamroller" means. "Steamroller" strictly speaking refers to a road roller that is powered by coal-fired steam, whereas modern road rollers are powered by diesel. A road roller with a drum in the front and two tires in the rear (such as this toy) is called a single-drum roller; a road roller with drums on either end is called a tandem roller. "Steamroller" refers to the method of propulsion, not the drum configuration.
This set truly brings me back to classic 2012-2016 city vibes
that road steam roller is great, I'm thinking about buying it too.

Update 1/25: looks like there's an excavator coming this summer in a $50 set! Let's hope it's good.
