I LIKE THE YOUNG BLACK -HAIRED DRUM MAJOR WAS EXCELLENT, HOPE THAT I SEE MORE OF HER, VERY SMART, EXCELLENT MARCHER AND DRUM MAJOR! LOVE TO SEE DUNLOY ACCORDIAN BAND, LIVE, BUT AM OLD AND DISABLED, I HAVE ONLY GOT TWO CDS OF THE BAND, ANY MORE UPCOMING? BEST WISHES, IAN, YOUR BIGGEST FAN, USED TO BE IN THE REGAL ACCORDIAN BAND.
at 5:17 if you put the video play speed at 0.25 you can see her ankle gets caught in a small ditch and that’s what caused her to fall. good on her for carrying on 👏🏼🇬🇧
@@Relentless03Ric3 Well. a bruised knee will recover and so will her pride then, but falling with an accordion may have been very painful for her, too. Thanks for responding:-)
@@henkdamster3714yes those accordions are very heavy compared to the wee red ones my father played when he was in it bothers me to lift them out of the bus on the big days
Dunloy village is a nationalist area I don't believe theirs many protestants In it as far as I hear the people in Dunloy doesn't let the parade happen their so Dunloy accordion band it self has their parade in Ballymoney which i believe it has more protestants in it
Always was held in Ballymoney my father was in the band from the 60s to the 80s may have been held in Dunloy before the First World War but that would have been lambegs then the flute band the accordion band was was formed in th 50s the lodge started and funded it as far as I am aware

Great performance, but HOW is the lady that stumbled and fell during the parade?
Henk Damster as your see in the video she got up and continued on. The only thing hurt was her pride.

What town is this parade in?
It tells you in the description - Ballymoney, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
I thought Dunloy was a Nationalist area? Strong tradition of hurling and Gaelic culture!
