I work for Clinique and it makes me so happy that your reviewing this! Clinique gets so underestimated by the younger crowd and most think its a "mature brand", but its not! Clinique has many many great products worth trying. You have rosacea and Clinique has a great redness line you just just try out! Check out your local counter for a sample. We're really generous when it comes to samples! :) My personal fav. product is our turn around serum and moisture surge moisturizer! It works amazing for me and I'm EXTREMELY oily. And as far as another foundation thats good for oily skin is the acne solutions:)

Why is everyone freaking out about foundations that have the wand as being "unsanitary" but go hog wild on concealers with wands??? And yes there are PLENTY of people who put concealer straight on their face before foundation. On a side note.....I would really like to try this foundation since it's full coverage. 👍
Sabrina Allen I use this foundation (and love it), and instead of dotting my face with the wand I put some on my hand (after washing them) and use my brush to put it on my face. I know that may technically still be unsanitary but it makes me feel a little better and I have more control over how much foundation I’m putting on and where.

Honestly I had a colour match and it looked far too dark for me I looked very orange! I didn't like it at all, however apart from the colour it was a very nice foundation
this is my go to #1 foundation for special occasions and when I'm having a bad breakouts. Its so flawless. The colour match and foundation looked STUNNING on you. Haven't watched the whole video yet, hope it lasts on you!

This foundation is great! I love it. I am also oily and I know exactly how she feels when she says she sees the shininess but its not oily. The best thing about this foundation is when you do have a blemish it does not make it worse. This has been, by far, the best foundation I have used! I love it.

Just cruisin' through your videos and watched this one. If you ever run out of blotting sheets, just take a tissue and separate the two plys. It works just as well. Another tip/hack is to take one ply and place it over your mouth after lipstick application. Take a setting powder and set the lipstick, then go back over your lips with the lipstick. This helps the longevity of your lipstick. I hope that made sense.
I had very oily skin until I moved to Colorado where it became dry. I have used this foundation before and after and I love it! Works for both skin types and I think it has made my old acne scars lighter :) huge fan!!
Kandee Johnson swears by this foundation and I love this foundation too she says its best if you use this with a damp beauty blender and she literally doesn't even need concealer but she uses it just to make it more perfect. I'm so in love with this foundation!!!

26F here, I love love love Clinique. I was surprised by another’s comment about the younger crowd not liking Clinique as much! I’ve used it for years, I just recently got the beyond perfecting foundation and it works really well for me. I work up to 8 hour shifts waiting tables and my make up still looks pretty good when I’m leaving. And we don’t have a dishwasher so I’m at the dish tank getting a face full of steam 30 times a night, so my foundation is definitely doing its job! I also use their facial care (face wash, toner, and moisturizer), the toner is an absolute godsend, it exfoliates my skin so well without being too harsh. I recently got the 72 hour moisturizer and it’s pretty good so far, very moisturizing without being too heavy or oily. My skin looks great (as long as I can keep my hands off and not pick🙄). Before I got the beyond perfecting foundation I used their even better foundation, which was pretty good if your looking for a lighter foundation, I just prefer fuller coverage. I tried a cheaper brand in between the even better and the beyond perfecting that made me break out like crazy, so I was right back to Clinique. I usually love everything I get from there, it never makes me break out, and usually does the job it’s supposed to do (and well!!).
if you like this one, try the stay matte from clinique. it stays matte all day and I use it every day!! full coverage and you only need a little bit!!!

I got this foundation because Kandee Johnson raved about it and I have loved it ever since. When I got mine the lady at the makeup counter said your suppose to use your hands to apply and that's how I've done it and I love it.
I just got this exact foundation type but in a different shade at Ulta yesterday (Clinique employee did my face) and I’m too lazy to put it on this morning so I chose to watch this instead. Now I REALLY want to put it on. It looks FLAWLESS on you Casey!!!! I honestly feel that Clinique is one the best makeup brands out there- the scientific studies and research the company does to perfect their products is out of this world!
I have dry to normal skin and I absolutely love this foundation! It lasts basically all day with minimal touch ups for me! I do tend to be a little more dry and love the faint dewy complexion for me, I just use a makeup setting spray instead of powder! So happy you reviewed this product! Love it!
I think that the people claiming that the beauty blender sheers out their foundation may just dampen their beauty blender too much. I think the extra water is what sheers it out. Just my theory, though.
I feel the same, I personally do not have any luck with brushes. I have some fm morphe to sigma to Mac. I jus can't get it to work for me. Beauty blenders are jus beyond holy grail for me especially having super dry skin.

I was on the fence between this and the Even Better foundation. I usually wear Bare Minerals powder foundation but thought I'd give this a try based on another FAVORITE reviewer and yourself and both of you recommend it highly. At first I thought I had made a mistake but I think ur applied with a beauty blender and light hand it seems flawless! I'm glad to see you apply this with a brush too as I have way more fluffy foundation brushes and one Teal Techniques BB so that helps! SO GLAD YOU DID A WEAR TEST! You are one of only 2 reviewers that did so, the other gave up and just reviewed based on application! I'm almost 60 and for reference the other reviewer is probably late thirties. So pleased you both like this so I think I'm going to keep this and give it a whirl! I do have 30 days to return if I don't like it
Depends on skin type I think. I'm more dry and I love the Clinique. It's Demi-matte and is flattering on my skin and doesn't cling to dryness. Double wear is too uncomfortably dry for me.. But if you have Conbo/oily skin I would recommend double wear because it doesn't transfer and this Clinique one does.
I've been using this foundation for about 3 months and i have been loving it. I love full coverage and it works great with my dry to combination skin. Casey the foundation looked great on you!!!!
This is by far my favorite foundation. I have dry skin and rosacea. I wear this most days for work and It last so well for me. Not to mention being a little older my skin needs more attention than it used too. So I can't just slap on anything to it with no care in the world. Really glad you liked it. Casey, loved the video, but I really wish that you did not powder. I think it would be more helpful to see how oily you get throughout the day with no touchups. :)
I agree that no touchups would be good just so we see how it really holds up. The main thing I look for in foundation is how well it lasts without touchups, cuz I often don't manage to touch up.
+luvsbeauty i have used this for 3 months. it is matte for 30 minutes and at the end of the day its shiny . my face is a little dry. but this one makes it more oily looking ... i need to powder over with mattefying powder fron Isadora.
If she normally has to touch up it's not bad to do touch ups. Some foundations don't touch up well either, so it also serves a purpose. She wouldn't know really what to expect if she just let it sit because, correct me if I'm wrong, but in the years I've watched her she basically seems to have to blot or touch up everyday.
I got color matched and asked for a sample of this foundation. I just tried it out this past Thursday and for the most part was very impressed. I applied it with a brush and will be using a blender tomorrow for it. It lasted almost 12 hours before starting to break up but still outlasted my other foundations. Thinking I will definitely be returning to the store to pick this one up.
Could you try the Estée Lauder double wear ligh? I'd love to try it for light make-up days but I find that lower coverage foundations don't last on me very well, and I was wondering if this one does. X
I know I'm not Casey lol but I've tried that foundation and I didn't like it! It was too sheer for my liking and building it up looked super cakey. Also there wasn't a wide color range and they all seemed orange to me
+sunny101shiny I agree! Plus it wouldn't last that long if you have super oily skin, which I do. During the day I could basically just wipe it off my face and it would get on my shirts
I really think it would be great for oily skin. I have normal skin but I do get shiny sometimes...never with this one. It's specifically made to last long on your skin.
I can't believe I'm just now seeing this video! This foundation is my go-to! I have skin that is a little bit dry at times so I'm pretty confident that this is a good foundation recommendation for just about anyone. The shade range is pretty good too!

I recently went to Sephora o buy this, when I asked an associate to match me he first asked what skin type I have; I said dry to very dry. He stopped eight there and told me this foundation would be a really bad choice for my skin type. he didn't even wanted to match me.. so I asked for a sample to try at home. I have to say it is a really full coverage foundation, I have good skin with the exception that I'm very dry and I have a few sun spots to cover and this worked great, it could look a little too matte or dry on my dry skin but nothing that a little fix + and some ambient light powder here ad there can't fix. I'm currently still using my sample as a Concealer and I love it. Great review and I agree Casey, its your perfect shade. Best color match ever!

Great thing is it also lasts forever. I have used the same bottle for 10 months and it barely finished and I use it almost every day ! I always get compliments on it ! 😀 I am glad you reviewed it ! Ps. I use golden neutral as well and they have the same color in all their other foundations they make which is convenient!
Even though you're oily and it's kinda noticeable, it doesn't look bad! I hope you know what I mean like when you're oily it's inevitable you're gonna get oily but this one makes your oiliness look controlled and almost good. I wanna buy it now!

+James Dylan it definitely can make me look cakey if I apply too much. A little goes a long way with this! But the fix plus (or any makeup spray) usually takes away any cakey-ness! Lol

I've been using this foundation for a long time now and I have oily t zone & acne scars. this foundation is amazing in covering all my in perfections and it can last a long time. my tzone did get oily but I just blot and it's taken care of. doesn't clog my pores either. glad you made this video because I don't think a lot of people know about this product.

+Rebecca M I think it's more about the density of the two. A dense brush will have more coverage than a porous texture because it's more compact!

Depends on skin type I think. I'm more dry and I love the Clinique. It's Demi-matte and is flattering on my skin and doesn't cling to dryness. Double wear is too uncomfortably dry for me.. But if you have Conbo/oily skin I would recommend double wear because it doesn't transfer and this Clinique one does.

You need to find a primer that will work for your skin! it's all in the primer imo. and a good setting powder
get you a really good primer girl, i use benefit porefessional primer and it's greattttt, also a good powder i use nyx HD setting powder (:
This is by far my favorite foundation. I have dry skin and rosacea. I wear this most days for work and It last so well for me. Not to mention being a little older my skin needs more attention than it used too. So I can't just slap on anything to it with no care in the world. Really glad you liked it. I pretty much love it, I'm on my 3rd bottle! 😁
Casey, loved the video, but I really wish that you did not powder. I think it would be more helpful to see how oily you get throughout the day with no touchups. :)

I agree that no touchups would be good just so we see how it really holds up. The main thing I look for in foundation is how well it lasts without touchups, cuz I often don't manage to touch up.
+luvsbeauty i have used this for 3 months. it is matte for 30 minutes and at the end of the day its shiny . my face is a little dry. but this one makes it more oily looking ... i need to powder over with mattefying powder fron Isadora.

If she normally has to touch up it's not bad to do touch ups. Some foundations don't touch up well either, so it also serves a purpose. She wouldn't know really what to expect if she just let it sit because, correct me if I'm wrong, but in the years I've watched her she basically seems to have to blot or touch up everyday.

I got color matched and asked for a sample of this foundation. I just tried it out this past Thursday and for the most part was very impressed. I applied it with a brush and will be using a blender tomorrow for it. It lasted almost 12 hours before starting to break up but still outlasted my other foundations. Thinking I will definitely be returning to the store to pick this one up.
Could you try the Estée Lauder double wear ligh? I'd love to try it for light make-up days but I find that lower coverage foundations don't last on me very well, and I was wondering if this one does. X
I know I'm not Casey lol but I've tried that foundation and I didn't like it! It was too sheer for my liking and building it up looked super cakey. Also there wasn't a wide color range and they all seemed orange to me
+sunny101shiny I agree! Plus it wouldn't last that long if you have super oily skin, which I do. During the day I could basically just wipe it off my face and it would get on my shirts

I really think it would be great for oily skin. I have normal skin but I do get shiny sometimes...never with this one. It's specifically made to last long on your skin.
I can't believe I'm just now seeing this video! This foundation is my go-to! I have skin that is a little bit dry at times so I'm pretty confident that this is a good foundation recommendation for just about anyone. The shade range is pretty good too!

I recently went to Sephora o buy this, when I asked an associate to match me he first asked what skin type I have; I said dry to very dry. He stopped eight there and told me this foundation would be a really bad choice for my skin type. he didn't even wanted to match me.. so I asked for a sample to try at home. I have to say it is a really full coverage foundation, I have good skin with the exception that I'm very dry and I have a few sun spots to cover and this worked great, it could look a little too matte or dry on my dry skin but nothing that a little fix + and some ambient light powder here ad there can't fix. I'm currently still using my sample as a Concealer and I love it. Great review and I agree Casey, its your perfect shade. Best color match ever!

I have this problem as well. I set it with the Laura Geller balance and brighten foundation in Porcelain and it whites it down for me.

I mix spf with foundations that are too dark for me. Innisfree's Eco safety sunblock works best for me, it's texture is exactly like foundation!

Even though you're oily and it's kinda noticeable, it doesn't look bad! I hope you know what I mean like when you're oily it's inevitable you're gonna get oily but this one makes your oiliness look controlled and almost good. I wanna buy it now!

I have super dry skin too and I love this foundation! Use a beauty blender and spray some fix plus afterward and you'll be good to go!

+James Dylan it definitely can make me look cakey if I apply too much. A little goes a long way with this! But the fix plus (or any makeup spray) usually takes away any cakey-ness! Lol

I've been using this foundation for a long time now and I have oily t zone & acne scars. this foundation is amazing in covering all my in perfections and it can last a long time. my tzone did get oily but I just blot and it's taken care of. doesn't clog my pores either. glad you made this video because I don't think a lot of people know about this product.

I couldn't find a shade that worked for me either. & I had a lady at Sephora try to color match me. Which makes me sad because I really wanted to try it.
