First off peace and blessings to you bro bro ..and coming from another trucker local in the IE. Love the videos and content. I been driving for 3yrs and some change now. Question being a owner opp port how much can u gross a week? "staying locally "I hope that question wasn't to personal. Keep trucking bro bro💪🏽💯
On a slow week you can bring in around $2500 on a good week around $6000. It all depends on how hard you run and how busy the company your signed up with is.
Do I need a twic card to be trained to do containers and port entry? I’ve never hauled containers just dry van. I live near the port. Currently work for an owner operator. Tired of paying taxes on a 1099. Looking for a company driver job
@@lifewithryda I would gladly pay you for a 15 min phone call….I was thinking of driving the ports, but $400 a day is barely enough to even pay insurance and put away savings for a truck note…..that doesn’t seem like much money. Do you get loads thru UIIA? can you not always do 2 loads a day? That would be the only way, are loads not always available at the port? Truck snd ins alone at least a couple hundred a day…are port drivers all struggling? That doesn’t seem very profitable.
@@robclark7380usually when it’s busy you make $1000-$1500 a day. The ports been slow lately so a lot of drivers are just getting one load. Thousands of drivers are fighting for work right now. Shoot me a email lifewithryda@gmail.com
My next truck will be a sleeper. A day cab was the best option for me being only local. I got a good price on it. Now I’m working on a second truck which will be a sleeper.

Why a day cab and not a sleeper 👀
