You should search indeed for jobs new legend is basically a mega carrier type company they pay by the mile regional at best they don't have local only. When u say local I expect to be home at the end of my shift. Hourly pay at other companies may be "low" but you make ur paycheck by working OT say 55-60 hours for the week. Specialize in something doubles tanker hazmat. LtL companies and tanker fuel hauling. I would never work as a regular dry van driver again after starting fuel hauling. Be a line haul driver or local p&d driver with Estes or some other LtL if u like dry vans. New legends is for rookies imo I stay in LA so I know wuts up in socal as far as trucking jobs go there is actually a lot of good fuel companies out in I.E area. I do enjoy fueling locomotives and hauling diesel for my company lol idk about fun tho never heard anyone say working is fun 😂 and I only apply to companies offering 80+k annually paid by the hour don't care wut the rate is as long as the hours are there a lot of companies pay OT after 8hrs and double after 12 mine does. Venture transportation does also they have a yard in Ontario if u like dry van it's dedicated to only hauling cardboard products from the Ontario paper mill New Indy Ontario but also for rookies easy tho. Be a yard jockey thats fun only sticking trailers in holes at a warehouse
