Great melodic playing choices, enjoyed! This I think is the overdrive pedal I’ll settle on, very nice sound. Just picked up the Strymon BigSky MX, it’ll be interesting see what they sound like together.

Love CAUSE WE ENDED AS LOVERS ...one of the very few songs I ever worked up note for note....with a turntable.
Hope you are doing well, Ohayo goziemasu, Tomosan, greetings from Texas! Really like this OD!

I've got this pedal and it will NEVER leave my board. It stacks well too. I use it with an Archer and J Rockett Touch and a Fatbee and different T Rex pedals and fuzz pedals and it goes well with all of them. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a Dumble In A Box and it rules. It goes from John Mayer to Larry Carlton.

I just bought one. When I turn it on, the volume pops up and I have to control with the volume pot of the guitar, otherwise my guitar goes so loud, even with the knob level of the pedal at almost minimum. Does yours function like these?

@@marcelomiranda1081 you may have bought one from the Version 1 series. Version 2 was tamed a bit on the output. But even version 1 allowed you to bring the level down. It’s also a bit pokey EQwise, so it may just be a perceived volume bump 🤷‍♂️
      That was my experience anyway

Thank you for the great demonstration.
I really like my Dude pedal as well. It really stacks nicely with Archer and or with my Lightspeed pedal.
I can’t remember where you said, “If you have melody, you have audience “
If you were to put that quote on a tee shirt signed with Tomo, I think you could sell more than a few of them.

I would bet that this is a Strat style room. Most of us are probably playing singles. The Dude adds a ton of midrange "glow." I'm gonna call it "glow."

Owned a DUDE pedal since 2016.
I will own it until 3016 if I live that long. It will still sound amazing then too,I'm sure.
One of the few pedals to truly sound as good as the amp it seeks to emulate and replicate.
There are many videos that demonstrate a DUDE pedal against an actual Dumble.
Save yourself $100,000 and buy one.

Totally cool the way you bend open notes…on other side of the nut..!👍🏼.. Thanks for the new trick..!
Also.. I’m thinking about putting Strat pickups on my Tele… not sure yet…Maybe just get the Dude instead.. and hear what that sounds like..much cheaper than new pickups and install..!

Tomo buddy, I picked up a standard Vemuram Jan ray in Tokyo years back. I saw the dude all around the shops and the Jan Ray, obviously I choose Jan Ray. How do they compare ? Worth stacking or adding to Jan Ray with the dude ? Thanks ❤
