You can use "Krud Kutter" to get the paint out of those rugs and covers. You will find it in the paint section of the stores. It also removes lipstick, wine and blood from carpet.

You can wash the blankets, and use them for your animals..either that or dye them.
We do that with many we find. I cut them 4 ways and make 4 blankets. We just don't take the whites ones or one with to many ruffles making it hard for me to sew. I not very good at sewing. And this way I don't have to spend money on dry either.

Nail polish remover helps take spray paint off. I got some frying pans from the same store and that's what i used. Worked wonders

What a great score finding all that food. I did my first donation of saved food to a local homeless shelter a few days ago. It felt so great to help people who have so little. What a shame they put paint on that blanket. Here they cut everything like that. I would rather the paint since I could dye anything with paint on it if I could not get it off.

Just found your site and think you guys are such a great family. Love the wedge pillow your daughter found. It is also great for people who suffer from asthma and sinus issues and having severe asthma myself, it works beautifully. Dratted things can be expensive though. Hope you continue to find fantastic things.

A couple of suggestions for the Christmas paper. If your a paper coupon error you can put it in your printer so the back side is printer.it will not matter what is on the back. Then something we have done is to cut out the picture portion and decopodge a plain box or even a packing tube for the holiday for a unique gift box or table decoration.also good on a picture frame but you got so many dog frames the other night I doubt your short.alot of people gave good ideas to get
paint out more ways then I ever knew.

Christmas paper and envelopes can be donated to preschoolers and elementary schools for letters to Santa

I collect dark colored ones. Cut them 4 ways and make 4 blankets out of each for pet shelters. That's why we take them. I do not take white ones as they get to nasty and dirty and many times are down blankets.

If you didn't already know, rubbing alcohol gets paint out of almost anything.
You can also donate to schools, some don't have what they need.

hey to you all... glad to see more dumpster diving vids !! Just letting you know that the spray painted stuff can be cleaned easily by using acetone free nail polish remover OR rubbing alcohol 99 %. I laugh at the painted stuff.... means nothing ...lol...try it
Try hydrogen peroxide and dish soap to take out the red paint

Have you tried goof off you can get it at home depo sometimes you can find a knockoff brand at the dollar stores it removes paint ink lipstick it's great when I find it there I clear the shelves
If you get finger polish remover the paint will come right off of everything
When u do gift bags again put them in the bags
If you find stuff you don't want or can't use you could use them as *giveaways* to your subscribers. Like a contest. I for one would love to get the hole punch or staplers as a contest winner. Or if you find lots of staplers etc. you could donate them to your kid's school or to a school. Also, places that service low income people would love to receive staplers, hole punches etc. Just some ideas.

You dye the white covers a darker color
If you see a shopping cart turn it on its side and stand on it.
Just remember that the staplers can go to a school, shelter and other organizations who have to buy things like that.
Magic eraser and hot water take all that paint off everything you didn’t take. Except fabric. You passed on an expensive memory foam bed topper
I'd take those notebook planners so they don't go in the trash. Love those journals as well.
