Just started watching and will say this and it is true for men and women. Being honest and telling people you need help weather emotional, financial, or just good thoughts it shows a lot of strength. Admitting things are not good shows strength.
For sure and he didn't want anyone to know how he was really feeling.
If this guy misrepresented the car when advertising it, you may be able to take him to small claims court!! If this guy misrepresented the mileage or messed with the mileage or ANYTHING like that, you can sue him! This guy should be put out of business!!! He is a shyster big time!!!!

Don't they have the lemon law in Fla? I lived there for 25 years they had it then. If they find wrong doing on his part he will have to pay back the money. he will be fined and u will keep the car as well. Not that its worth much. Check it out. Also that car was more then likely in Irma or 1 of the hurricanes and the engine was flooded with water sand and what not. Used car dealers sell them all the time and i think they are supposed to be totaled once they are in a hurricane. I would be online checking everything i could. Good Luck Blended Abode Family
The Lemon Law in FL is not for used cars.
BLENDED ABODE SHOW I understand my little Mazda pickup motor blew bought a car from a friends lasted 4 months and paid blue book on it thing was 300 thousand miles,motor blew 8 months later went 3 months with my mother in law driving me back and forth finally got enough now I got a caddy with less than 100 thousand miles on it,been great vehicle but rough getting there y'all in my prayers understand where y'all coming from

I’m so sorry you guys are going through all of these but please remember you have each other and you have your health. I just want you guy to think positive. I know it seems hard times but I can tell you are tough family and you will get thought this. I found out last may that have stage 4 breast cancer which has spread to my stomach and other parts of my body. There is no cure they can just prolong my life . I’m only 47 in 2016 I went to the dr. Because I knew I had a lump in my breast and they told me it was fat tissues. It suck how people can just screw with other people and their family. My heart brakes for you and your family just hang in there it will get better! My prayers are with you! I don’t want you to think that I want you to feel sorry for me because that’s not at all what I want . I just want you to know I believe in your family and that you are fighters and will pull throw this one way or other!!! 👍🌻👍💐👍

Years back we bought a used Ford mustang , paid cash and on the way home it broke down. The dealer had it towed back. Next day he called said it needed a new motor, but he was only going to pay for half since it was sold "as is'.
And once I bought a Dodge, worst car I ever own, it stayed broke down more than I got to drive it. The Honda I have now , I bought used, and have had it now 16 years still runs good.
I am still praying for you guys that this mess works out good and the outcome is way better than before the accident. Try not to be to upset Angie, it will always turn out ok . Hugs to you guys.

I am so sorry. It sounds like the engine had initially had a problem. There is some stuff they can put in the engine called "honey" that will make it seem like it was amazing. Also you can get the engine checked to see if the VIN number matches the VIN number of your car. If it is, then the engine was never changed and is provable!

It's a crying sham.
My dad's a mechanic and he said the guy greased the ball joints and did a tune up. He also said he put thicker oil in it to quite the engine. I'm sorry that happened to your family.

Hi Blended Abode, I am thankful for your vegan recipes and my family loves your soups, thank you. Sorry to see you were so trusting and taken by obvious con artists. My family have had to buy some very inexpensive cars with high miles on them these last few years, luckily we have dealt with honest small dealerships that get the cars from auctions and they fix them up to make sure they run well enough to sell and yet even if they look very nice they keep the price pretty low to have fast turn over and good word of mouth and return business. We have learned a few things like if they rebuild a auto or engine it has to have a salvage or rebuilt title and then go through an inspection from state patrol if auto was in accident to make sure it was safe. Any auto with even a regular title also has to be able to pass emissions and they have to give you a $25 coupon for the emissions. If it doesn't legally they have to fix it so it can pass emissions. It sounds like they had a small dealership? There are laws and they cannot lie or mess with the mileage, I think it would run over to 0 with a new engine. I think there are time limits with the emission thing did they give you temp tags. Look online and check out lawyers that take cases for percentage on settlements that you can talk to. We consulted with a firm one time for accident lawyer that called back and gave advise and took case. Then the lawyer takes care of everything. So there are laws that people that sell autos have to follow too before the "as is" auto is sold. Please check into the laws and there are time limits so do this fast maybe even check in with registrations and emissions. Maybe the lawyer will scare them enough to take the cars back, return your money and void that deal. Also, many you tube sites add Patreon for people that want to donate $1 a month or more to show their appreciation just think if a percentage of your viewers did that every month. Also some set up paypal for a one time donation. Please do that and let people show their appreciation.

I believe the law says " If the seller intentionally lied about the condition of the car, (and you can prove it) he has to reimburse your money or pay you the cost of the second car which he caused you to buy.
Be sure to look into it.
I would NOT let this CRIMINAL get away with it!!!
First I'd take him to court. I'd have that guy in and out of court so many times that he'd be wishing he'd never met me !! Even if I didn't win, I wouldn't care. I'd bug, bug, bug him so much. I'd constantly phone and say, "Have you changed your mind yet? Are you paying us back our money?
And he'd have to take time off work to go to court too. Then at the last minute I'd phone up and cancel court. I'd make up some really good excuse why I couldn't make it.
In the meantime....
I'd post " BEWARE OF CROOKED DEALERSHIP " signs on every damn telephone pole for miles around.
Then I'd put your story in the Local Newspapers too.
THEN...I'd take a bunch of people with signs such as, "DO NOT BUY HERE!! THEY SELL JUNK / WE GOT RIPPED OFF FOR 4,500 THEY ARE CROOKS / LIARS AND CROOKS WORK HERE and stand outside his dealership warning people about him etc. etc.
By the time I was through with him, he'd want to move !!
What ever you do, DO NOT let that guy get away with your hard earn money !!

I've been in situations like this & it's so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but hang in there. Things can only go up from here! Every morning you should park the car in front of this guy's lot with a sign in it telling everyone they sold you a lemon and refuse to refund you. Take it every morning even if you have to tow it LOL

Your situation is bad. Ours is worse. My husband is a combat veteran with ptsd. He has an other than honorable discharge. The military kicked him out when they should of medically discharged him. The military shut off his pay for the 2 months it took him to exit the military. We have 3 children. He has a job making $450 a week. We have a 2000 impala. We're living in a motel paying $250 a week for 1 room and $75 a month for storage. We get no goverment assistance because of his discharge papers. He's allowed in no goverment office unless he has official business there meaning court or to pay a utility bill. We have no insurance for ourselves or our children. His credit is screwed because we went from him making $6000 a month to nothing for 2 months. We don't have enough to pay a deposit on a home to rent. I'll pray for you all.

We don't get government assistance either and I know how hard it can be when there just isn't enough to go around. Your hotel cost is the what we pay in rent her at $1000 a month and we don't have insurance for any of us as well. It's just ridiculous and their should be more help out their for all of us. ❤❤❤
Your husband may be able to have that OTH discharge reversed. My hubby has a OTH from fighting all stemmed from PTSD. Check your local DAV first, I am looking into other options for my husband as well. May God bless you and your family.

Look for the VIN number on the motor, that will tell you if it's a different number then it has a rebuilt motor. I'm so sorry this happened to y'all!
You can take him to small claims court, the agreement is void because they sold it knowing it had problems. God will look out for you don’t worry!!

All sales pending mechanical inspection. So sorry this happened to you all. People are just scammers sometimes. I'm shopping for a travel trailer and having what ever I decide on new or not pending sale after passed inspection. There's lemon laws and the fact he switched the advertised price would have been a red flag. Prayers for you all.
In FL the Lemon Law does not apply to our situation unfortunately. I agree with you to many scammers.

there are lemon laws meaning any car sold has to be functional for at least 10 days in good working condition you can call him on that

I'm so sorry you guys are going through this. Does your state have a Lemon Law? If so, by law he has to refund your money or provide a suitable replacement.

As is ? Call Better Business Bureau and but this dealer on high alert . ... if you have any contact with this guy or any of his employees. record it . No matter what record record. Spread the word of this dealer scam. Try and get him investigated. Many ways you can bring down a sum of a scammer. Prayers and hugs.💛 . Peace & love .
Have someone knowledgeable to go over your contract of sale ... sometimes unfaithful dealers forget or don't know what's in their own contracts , maybe a chance of getting your money back .

Feel so sorry for you and your family keep your head held high take him to small claims court if you can or check into your lemon laws and I would also check out the companies that he said he got the motor from and you have the video tape of the guy or the words from the guy saying it was a lifters so that's all evidence you should be able to get your money back and keeping you guys in our prayers

I'm soooo upset watching this guys , I've followed u for a while now and always soooo happy that you find such great stuff and donate such a large portion of it to charity etc. I myself have used food banks and been at the bottom of the barrel money wise £££ and it isn't fun😢😢😢 I also have nobody to help me with big amounts of money but lucky enough to have a few people who could help with some smaller amounts to stop me from filing for bankruptcy due to having a large debt because of funeral payments and having an ill Mother etc. But i just wish nice things would happen to good people like yourselves and only crappy things happen to BAD people 😡😡😡. Car max buys used cars even if something is wrong with it. My friend sold hers after the engine blew not sure how much she got for it but worth a shot. Hope things go better for you all.

Sorry you're having a hard time. You can try to sell it for parts or the body. You can also check with the local high schools or colleges to see if they will fix the car. Befriend a good mechanic. I only buy used but I won't buy until he gives me a thumbs up. I know you didnt want to use your emergency fund but that's what its there for. At least you had the foresight to start one. On the brightside Buicks while gas guzzlers are pretty reliable. Also check the engine, I think there may be a way to tell if the engine in there is what they say it is. Nothing wrong with breaking down or being pissed, we all do it. Best of luck to you and your family.

Omg I heard that noise in the engine and Yep its gonna go out soon. My sons are Mechanics So I know what it sounds like, still a sharp looking car. Put it on Craigslisit and add the issues you should have no problem selling it. Some people are a-holes and I'm sorry one scammed you. Lots of Prayers for you & your Family. If you go to buy another car , use Car Compliant.com it will truly guide you guys in reviews if cars to stay away from . I wouldn't buy from these guys who sells cars on these web sites . My husband bought and sold cars for a living , he does it in the side now as we needed health benefits . I hope y'all get this guy shut down , look into some kind of Lemon Law for bad cars ... I pray y'all get some kind of money back off that other car and put it towards the new car pay it off as soon as you can . We will be praying for you guys , God bless them really good . When test driving have your own mechanic check it out and if they have a problem with that then you know something is up. Sounds like he turned back the mileage and fixed it long enough to get your cash.
