Chris, you are my hero . . . I am totally onboard with the hybrid setup. Thank you for all the great info and keep it coming. Wishing you all the best!
I'm an environmental scientist on the cusp of finishing grad school: I'm looking into different desk setups as a 'reward' for myself that contributes to my productivity, as I plan on doing environmental consulting as a side gig (or main, whichever way the tide turns). Would you say it's relatively easy to get distracted having a setup for work mixed with personal use (iPad, iPhone, Macbook combo)? I'm aware of the focus features, though, am only just starting to get into it more considering workloads and time management. What's your experience with combining apple products (Macbook & iPad) with your productivity setups in regard to distractions such as a friend texting, interesting email/notification etc etc?
I love your comments on the potential impact of the Vision Pro on one’s work flow. I can hardly wait for it to see how realistic this would be. I probably won’t buy the first iteration, but I can see myself using that over a monitor. Also I travel a lot for work it could really extend my productivity when I’m in the air.
Chris, agreed that things will change dramatically with Vision Pro. You can see as with many Apple products, they build up our skills over time. If you look back to iOS maybe v6 or 7 and compare to the current 16...night and day with what now know and how to work. For example, the WatchOS 10 double tap. I think this prepping us for Vision Pro and some the gestures that will be coming with that. Thanks for your opinions
I have a very similar setup with one major difference: Along with my M1 Studio Max I use an M1 MBP 14 for my either/or, or both with universal control, work or play needs. I do have an iPad, but it's the Mini 6 that I use primarily for content consumption.
Have you thought of using a small two port hdmi switch for the iPad and Mac Studio? I added one for like 12 bucks at home and did away with manually switching cables. Cleaner setup too.
Just an idea , but it seems crazy to keep having to plug and unplug the ipad then the mac studio , would a KVM switch not be easier?? Like i said just an idea , i use one myself to switch between my macbook pro and my acer notebook and it work brilliantly
Looks like a very affordable and effective office as well. May system works well and the desk is older than dirt. I have turn into a real tec. Nut but do try to be somewhat conservative.
@@stevekoutros9358 I know. I was just noting that he probably makes quite a bit of money. I’m not saying that his setup isn’t cool though. To be honest, it would be something that I would like to replicate if I had a higher income lol.
How do you keep your Freeform boards organized? I am using OneNote now but I am thinking about switching to Freeform, I just don’t know how I would organize them with my different topics.
Happy Halloween Chris🎃 I wanted to share that I enjoy watching your videos and I like how you thoroughly explain each item. I wanted to ask what the brand of the iPhone modular charging station is? Where did you purchase it? Thanks Chris

hi! do you still use a Macbook Pro? or just default to Mac Studio?
Cool setup,I am about to make the iPad M2 desktop happen. Could you please tell me where I can get that ocean screen saver?

Same setup here, mac mini + ipad pro sometimes one is better than the other or i just prefer working on my iPad or the Mac.
Good stuff Chris 👍🏻
Hi, Did you just see the new M3 release. It was awesome 🎉

Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!

Affordable? $12,000 to 14,000 for the complete setup...just saying
@@stevekoutros9358Yeah that’s pretty expensive. This RUclipsr probably makes more than $10K a month if he can afford all that.
@@diotitusI am not belittling him his setup. More power to him if he can afford this and provide the quality content that he always delivers

Looks great
