i love her decor!!! i have a micro tiny home ive been hustling in for sim years... i just redecorated it to MY liking and i LOVE IT! it makes me so happy to sit in it lol, i dont know how my sim feels about it, but, i dont care lmao.... its a pink girlies floaty cloudy string lighty dream :D i get inspo from Karlas videos. im 51 in rl and theres no way id be allowed to have a house like it, my husband would claw his own eyes out HAHAHA
When you're running a sale, you can click on sims and "make a sales pitch". That makes them a lot more likely to buy something, and it raises your Charisma skill. I'm pretty sure having higher Charisma also makes that interaction more successful. I don't have like, statistics on this, but I can see a difference.
I was watching Dr. Gluon's crystal videos and it DOES make a difference if you're selling fully charged jewelry and gems. By a lot.

I feel like it would be more beneficial if you make some jewelry/gemstones for yourself and charged them. The effects are SO helpful. Like the jade makes it so that you can randomly find gems doing things around the house. And if you manage to find plumbite, it makes it so that your sim's needs increase over time so you can always be making jewelry.
So I finally decided to play the strangerville story as a scientist, After going to work with my sim I have crystals and metals coming out of my ears. lol
yes! when I played with the pack a few days ago I got a scientist job and dug everything I could. I didn't have to pay for metal or crystals. I made 40k simoleons in one sim day.

Two things that couldv'e made this experiment have better results for a rags to riches type of gampeplay:
1. Sapphire ring. When charged it helps not only to raise logical skills faster, it also prevents burnout and dazed moodlets. Which is why the jewerly comes out butched.
2. Higher charisma level for the sales pitch, which makes sims more likely to buy something even it's priced at a 300% markup.
Bonus: The turquoise crystal when charged helps build this skill faster, as well as making friendly interactions more succesful.
It’s definitely a one of the best ways to do a rags to riches, you just probably need to spend a bit of time looking for crystals and metal so your not cutting into your profits and actually charging them to raise the prices and it works a lot better

The most overpowered bit of this pack is the needs-filling one. I use it with infants! Makes them 10x less annoying!

Apparently charging them fully does increase the price by a whole 25% so it would actually be fairly profitable to have charged them before selling
I knew the answer to this the moment I saw the title of this pop up in my notifications on my phone. I did a rags to riches with this in one of my legacy saves with a new heir and my sim was loaded in a sim week. It was crazy
Spellcasters or scientists have the best chance of finding rare cristals, glimmerbrook or copperdale has the best vibes and quite a lot cristals spawning, genius is the best trait for traing the skill as it gets you in focused mood quite often, microhomes speed up the learning process, dust bunnies once befriended often find cristals for you and I think charisma skill is both esier to train and most useful when playing with this pack, making it easier to convince sims to buy the jewellery at the higher markup, but hey, now I renember there's a cristal that claims to make so that you can convince sims easier, wonder if it helps? I will be trying that I guess, wish me luck 😅
karla, you can store your harvested crystals and metals in the gemology table. so you dont have to carry them around. and if you charge them before you sell, they sell for a higher price. you can harvest at 5 am or 6 am everyday from the tree. but if you leave the lot and return it throws it off a bit so you might miss a day type of thing.
I have noticed that charging the jewelry increased the sale price! I hope it wasn’t a very fortunate glitch… 😅

I think you might have had more success by starting off collecting your own crystals and metals; that way it's mostly profit. also, I lived in a tiny house to get double skill gain and gardening boosts. still, I always love watching you work Karla; you're amazing! 😃
You can build a little wooden box that encloses the mouse hole in the wall. They will come out and run around, but only in that contained space. So much less disgusting!
I remember making a maneuver that removes the mouse hole 🤔.

If you want to do a real rags to riches I would say make a jewelry store and use only rare gems and metals. I'm making about 60,000 Simoleans a day and that's only with a 50% markup. I added four random Sims to my family and gave them jewelry making desks. I give them the gems that my tree grows and they all make jewelry and at the end of the day I released them back into the wild and keep the jewelry. I pay (gift) them each $400 a day, so basically they are employees. I do that from Monday to Friday and sell on Saturdays and Sundays . At this rate I should be done with my $1,000,000 rags to riches In a few days. Also, if you don't mind using cheats, if you plant a gem tree make sure your gem seed is at the highest quality. That way the tree will sprout rare gems.
Charged crystals and jewelry sell for more. Charging certain crystals give amazing buffs and perks!

Did you know you can make a piece of jewelry that makes the sim immortal? Hematite crafted and charged. If you use Jet and craft it and charge it you can summon Grim whenever you want.

I found taking a few days to just make a whole bunch of jewelry and spending the day selling is best in the long term. Use the time to scavenge money/materials whne needed. The beginning is rough but you can mske good money by the end.

I think you could exploit your sim quite a bit if you charged the crystals and obtained the buffs.
The one time harvast is still the gardening glitch. Its not fixed at all. They still stop producing a harvast after one or a couple of times😡
I don’t know what I prefer. “Take a shower; take a shit” sounded like the wrong order to me, but I’ve watched Karla too much. Now the few times when she reverses the order, it sounds wrong.

Is anyone CC clothes or non CC clothes not loading up in game? Literally the townies are walking around invisible, because their clothes are not loading up. When I try to switch my sims clothing outfit, it will not load up.

Testingcheats on. Shift click debug delete: rat hole - delete. Leaky pipes- delete. Fuse box- delete. Chalk outline- delete. Smelly vent- delete. Roaches- delete. No more problems 😄
Disclaimer: mood buff might stay active if you do it when they are complaining, MCCC fixes that easily. Smelly fumes and electrical sounds might stick around if done while broken, quick load out to manage world's and back usually fixes that.
