As a fellow illustrator, I'm so glad that I found you vlog! Love going to museums and book stores, I'm listing all the places you went for my trip next year. Thank you so much!!
Ps. When I go to Tokyo, I will always visit the Ueno Park Museums, I love love that park so much! May be next time you guys can go check it out!!
when i visited japan i really enjoyed how there were artist pop up shops everywhere, even within big chain stores! and no matter where you went there were stickers and postcards and other little artsy trinkets 🌈
Yesss I loved that the most too! Seems like such a simple fun idea that doesn't happen enough where I live (Canada) haha!
Such a chill video. Enjoy Japan and keep up the great content
Thanks so much for watching, I'm so glad you enjoyed it :-)
I'm so glad that I found your channel. I really enjoyed seeing the bookstores, museums and shops in Japan. It really seems like an illustrators dream city -- everywhere you look there's something colorful to see! Thanks
I'm so glad!!! It really is, there's so much inspiration for everyone, I feel like I only captured a section of it! Thank you for watching :-)
definitely going to check out a few of these places being an artist myself thanks for sharing!
yay, I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!
super cool places, thanks for sharing. Want to check these places out when I visit again!
thank you for watching! I'm glad you got some helpful tips of where to visit from it!
This was such a great video, really interesting and relaxing to watch. I really want to go to Japan now!
aw I'm so glad you thought so!! It's definitely worth visiting, I hope you make it there some day :)
looks like you had a great trip. ive lived in Yokohama for 20 years. I often go to jimbocho, as well as some of the other places like koganecho (impressed you made it there), harajuku and daikanyama, etc. Its a great place to live. You do make me feel like going to eat at some of those cafes!
It's so great to hear from someone who lives in Yokohama, i'm really glad you enjoyed the video :) I hope you make it to some of the cafes!
Koganecho is actually a slightly dangerous place at night. They have a good independent cinema there but it’s also kind of a red light district.
I’ll track down those cafes. The only bad thing about loving here is all the calories I put on from eating cakes! Lol.
Best video for creatives going to Japan thank you :) my partner and I are going in November and are going to go to loads of the same areas you did 😊
Aw thanks so much! Have the most amazing time!
I am glad i have found your channel and this vlog of Japan, i will definitely visit the book village next time i visit Japan❤ I subscribed to see more of your future vlogs😊
Thank you for subscribing, I'm so glad you liked this video! I hope you enjoy the rest of my videos :)
I live in Tokyo and loved this content. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you chose to bring home, especially the illustrators book you mentioned buying at DaikanyamaT, very curious about it.
Aww it's so great to hear you loved the video AND you live Tokyo! That's so cool! I've been putting off filming the next video haha but I swear I'll get round to it this week!
I will be in Japan for the first time in October. One place I am really looking forward to going to is Sekaido in Shinjuku. A massive art supplies store. I am also going to Jimbocho to trawl through some of the bookshops.
there is a good art store in jimbocho too called bumpodo
ahh have the best time! I've heard so much about Sekaido, but didn't make it there this time around, another excuse to go back! I'll add Bumpodo to the list too :)
the beginning area, i knew right away that was ebisu.
That's right! We stayed in Ebisu, I loved it around there :)
🎈🎈🙂👏
i loved the illustrator which you bought colourful card of. do you know his name? i would love to look him up?😊
So cute right! The artist is Ikutake Makoto, This is his instagram instagram.com/m_ikutake2/
@@rofarmer_studio thank you very much. cannot wait to see more of this kind of vlog. ;)
I would be so broke if I when to Japan ..id want to buy all that stuff in the shops
I know, right!! There wasn't that much room in my suitcase which helped with being more frugal with what I was buying haha
