- Steps on how to replace the hinged lid and compartment in the center console of a 2011 Honda CR-V EX-L. Similar design years are 2007 2008 2009 and 2010.
I'm impressed your console is so clean. I have grandkids, so mine needs a high pressure wash.
Thank you for great instructions! Dealer quoted me 4 hours of work and almost $700. Bought the part for $100, followed your instructions and all good!
Good to hear...glad to help!
Where did you buy the part? The paint on my entire console has worn away and looks awful. Thought about replacing or removing and painting but wasn't sure what type of paint would be best. Any ideas?
Thanks to your video I was able to understand how to change out the aux port since mine had stopped working! Thanks a lot!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks a lot bud! Now I can repair my broken auxiliary port! Your awesome 👏
Were you able to fix you aux input?
This video helped me out a lot so far. I'm trying to fit the EX-L console into my 08' EX. I have been trying to look for the exact positions of where those brackets are mounted on the floor and your video showed where they are. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful. I managed to access the spring-loaded cup holders and fix what my son had broken!
Glad to be of assistance...from one railroader to another!
Excellent tutorial, This helped me in replacing the console.
Glad it helped
Excellent video. Should mention that all four screws can also be removed with a 5/16" socket. Hardest part was removing the front panel (~2.45 minutes into the video). Actually this front panel has a tab perpendicular to the panel that clips into a tab on the console. Had ruined the finish on the cup holder with alcohol (had kept a spray bottle in the cup holder for hand cleansing during the pandemic.) Removed plastic up holder and sprayed with Dupli-Color BGM0522 & saved $120.
I'm looking for information for Honda CRV ELX 2014. This video was base, it helped me thank you very much
Thanks for the video. Do you know the part number by any chance?
I believe the Honda part number is #83451-SWA-A01ZC. No guarantees here, double-check with a Honda dealer if that part number is correct (the parts counter can look it up and help you decide if its the correct part number).

I've not replaced that part. My apologies, but I cannot offer help on this piece.
Great video. Thank you sir.
I would like to replace the 12-V Cig Socket and AUX to the front of the car under the radio with a single socket such as a WINOMO 12V Car Audio Accessories 3.5mm AUX Jack USB Input Socket Adapter/ and just close this off. Honda put in it an inconvenient location.
Buen día donde consiguió el reemplazo de esa pieza ?
EN: See other comments: I had to get mine from the Honda dealer. SP: Ver otros comentarios: Tuve que conseguir el mío en el concesionario Honda.
What is the whole piece called that you removed? I hear a sound in mine.
I don't recall what the dealer called it, my apologies. If I had to guess...it was a center console compartment. I was not able to get it aftermarket...I had to go to the dealer for the part.
Do you remember where you bought that? I can't find it online anywhere.
Unfortunately, from the Honda dealer. Don't remember how much I paid.
From a Honda dealer...I had the same problem, couldn't find it online.
@@theeiseles7480 How much did your part cost?
@@randymartin7072 See string of replies above...don't remember, had to get it from a Honda dealer.
Doesnt exist on 2007 Honda CRV manual gearbox in UK.
You need to get some plastic pry bars
