In this video we continue our road trip to Kent, checking out some of the sights, staying overnight for FREE in Margate and dealing with more than our fair share of vanlife woes. We then travel in our motorhome from Margate to Whitstable via Reculver, discovering all sorts of Kentish beauty on the way.

There is also a camper van sales and spares on the Ashford (A28) road on the way out of Canterbury (Milton bridge)they have a spares section as well, on the right after the bridge turn left up Howfield lane.

great places im in kent northfleet all those seaside towns are only 45 mins away we camp out lots wild in the camper if your down this way again be nice to meet up somewhere all the best donny

Swale caravan park is just down the road from you for your parts that you need to replace. My comment below this is a far better option.

I maintain my Motorhome all year on the drive none stop to use once a year true story it doesn't move and we just noticed a gearbox drive shaft seal oil leak when servicing

we have a 2005 Kontiki and its an ongoing project. bit like a house ( we are full time) so gets really used ! still annoying tho when things pack up.

@@EscapeintheMotorhome work on getting the niggly bits sorted, carry a small selection of tools, electrical tape, duct tape and cable ties. They will all come in handy at some point and enjoy xx
Dan Mate , 1 roll of self amalgamating tape from ANY screwfix , Electric shop ect , WOULD STOP water leak immediately and ANY idiot can use it . And only a couple of £ , BUY IT & KEEP IN VAN . Great Vlog .

We have problems with our 28 year old (35k miles) motorhome all the time. So pleased be reassured it’s not just you. The list last month was Glowplugs, leaking water pipe, leaking shower head, wiper motor, indicator light hanging off on the M4 (it did survive phew!)
We love watching your videos as they show the reality of motorhoming, but also how it’s worth it in the end.

@@EscapeintheMotorhome Yes all sorted now thanks, thanks to a very handy neighbour and a steep learning curve for us. We had a lovely ‘problem free’ trip to Caldicot Castle today and Wales even stayed sunny for us.
Possibly buy Sammy some dog bone biscuits haha soon funny episode this week had me LOL

@@karlmabe1649 good lad! It's really weird as Sammy isn't destructive... hope it isn't a nerves thing... he gets more walks when we're travelling too.
@EscapeintheMotorhome it's a girl shandy 33 kg and just been sterilised so she's still resting up she had keyhole surgery at great expense sounds like a motorhome repair

Did you buy your van off a garage or private seller? Wonder if whoever sold it or part ex it knew of all these niggles & sold it before having to spend money themselves? Keep smiling Guys & enjoying your adventure 😊
It was a private seller but I think they only used it now and again. I think over ten years it has just got very temperamental! Hopefully Daz has sorted the tap now 🤞🤞🤞 thank you for watching! Xx
