I hope you guys all enjoyed the split screen/multiple angles at once! It was a tonne of work, so if you enjoyed it, please drop a comment, give the video a like and share the video with someone!! Let's get the channel back on it's feet!
thought the split screen was cool that looked like a heap of fun a good challenge but not so hard you have to brake your truck that Nissan at 16:40 goes hard
Love the split screen and having live voices as it happened. So very satisfying to see your channel evolve over the years and also to see the Discos holding there own amongst much newer trucks. keep up the awesome work guys
What a fun day out. You two really are a great team. Good communication and you both worked so well together. I value my marriage too much to try this with my wife. ;)
Thanks man, ah it felt so good being behind the wheel rather than just the camera! So thankful for everyone who helped film so I could still get a video on it all too!
Good stuff Tim. Glad you're back to making videos. I found your channel earlier last year when I picked up a project '95 Disco with no sunroofs, cloth interior, manual transmission and the 3.9 V8. Hope to start working on it this year and making some videos of the process. Cheers from America 🍻
Excellent video, you left your tree trunk protector on a tree at around 21min. Ilsa did a top job, you two work so well together , and you must be proud of both your efforts 👌 No just needs a 4.6 in her, and you better sneak in a locker or 2 😮 All the best from Tasmania AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 Cheers Rob
That looks like a great event, specially for a road going car. Ilsa is a great co-driver, to handle that anchor and run as she did!!! RFC potential rite there. The rivalry with Matt was quite obvious lol
It is a great event to give people a taster of racing, without destroying your club truck! Can’t wait to do it again this year. And yes, she did so well!!! Haha yep it was game on!
Go team parkin! Bloody cool video watched with the wife and we agreed to do one in the zuk one day ! Great to see the other half of the video where Matt mentioned his auto locker haha
Mate. It looks like you guys had a blast. Could look into a front horizontal mount for the land anker with a separate spot on the side or top to have a length of about 5 meters of rope. that way you can just leave it on the winch to save some more time.
We did indeed! And yea if we were comping regularly/aiming to be super competitive then I’d definitely move it up front, but for just the casual event, idk if I can be bothered haha!
You need to put a cable tie on your seatbelt. Not tight, just so it's a D shape. That way it's already out when on an angle🙃 Great vid, love the split screen/live voices.
I in Italy in the province of Florence have a small Suzuki Jimny 4x4 all original with a 1.3 LT gasoline engine m13a from 2001 that I use to go to the countryside and to the mountains on dirt roads and forests and I use it to tackle dirt roads with mud. I use a set of retreaded tires from the Ziarelli brand, model Mud Power m + s 205-70-15 and then I have a set of Hankook Dynapro off-road tires. atf RF 10 m + s in original size 205-70-15
Greetings from the province of Pontassieve in Florence, Italy, I see that many 4x4 off-road vehicles in this place are not equipped with specific mud tires, it seems to me that they have All Terrain tires that are not good on these dirt roads with the presence of mud?

That bloke driving the black disco is a handsome chap😮💨
Haha and an annoyingly fast one! Not to mention sneaky 😂
🤣
I think you must have a faulty screen.

The multiple camera angles was really cool to see. Can tell that in addition to a great and successful day a lot of work was put into this one.
Glad you enjoyed them!!
awesome video mate, good to see all the hard work on the tools paying off.
Thanks, yea it was awesome to get some seat time finally!
Ilse is a weapon! Good work !
nice filming, really enjoyed the different point of view
Cheers man, glad you enjoyed it!

Great video
You make a great team.
I liked the door screen format - though on an iPhone the 2nd one was pretty small.
Superb, had me on the edge of the seat, whilst eating my dinner, the 2 camera angle helped alot, ilsa did spot on job, practice makes perfect, 👍
Well done guys and great co driver
Great videoing and Elsa did a top job as copilot, well done
Good to see some disco vs disco action even deisel vs V8 looked like a blast
Haha yea the V8 took it out but only just! We had a blast!
I am loving this so much seeing you competing after all those times just filming it’s the best 😎👍
Thanks man, ah it felt so good being behind the wheel rather than just the camera! So thankful for everyone who helped film so I could still get a video on it all too!
What a triumph effort by Ilse, awesome effort
She did so well! There was a lot more winching which didn’t make the video, had her completely worn out by the end!
Love that your uploading again, a lot different to the terrain we get in the uk!
Heaps more videos coming!
Great stuff, Tim. Super well-done Ilsa; lots of running for you!
the filming and switching between shots in this is very well done :) great vid
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it

If you get the Td5 mapped it ill be better then a 4.6 mate
@Dasdil Except, Diesel is only good for generators 👌🤪😂🤣

I think I am more!!!

Great vid, love the split screen/live voices.
It’s a great tip, we usually have them but in the rush of prepping for the event, I completely forgot!
Would love to see some events like this in the lower south island. I would be very keen to try out my d2
It’d be awesome to see more Enduros in general… you should consider coming up for this years one in March
I will remember this mass amount of running and lugging when picking a co-driver. Everyone can tell Ilsa is the real athlete.
She did so well! Was super proud of her!

Your wife is awesome!!!!
I reckon!!!
Phwoooaaarrrrrr
Tidy bro, the old girl handles herself well.
And the truck did too 😊😅😮😮
@ 😅😅 definitely referring to the disco

A real race spec D2 would have some hard cut and bellowing out soot 😉
Hahah that’s still loading. Gotta get the boost leaks sorted first 😂
please tell me about that radiator!
