One of the best bands I ever heard that for some reason failed to hit the big time . They were phenomenal as The Jerry Kelly Band and after that Dakota . I saw them both when they were The Buoys . They used to even come up to Watertown occasionally .

I've just recently discovered Dakota as a young guy, why did they guys not get bigger? They have an incredible sound!

I saw them in Syracuse NY in 1982-ish... at a bar called " The Lost Horizon " they were absoulty AMAZING,,,,,what happened ?
growing up in Wilkes Barre, this brings back memories of The Staircase, The Hearthstone and others .Another great tune
Wow, the Staircase lounge ! .......great times back in the 80’s
Those others,Club LEE,The Station,The 25 th hour,The VOX BOX and for those under 21, The Factory.
One of my fav LP's of all time.
Saw them open for Queen at the Onondoga County War Memorial in Syracuse NY on Queen's "The Game" tour 1980.
Me too. I recall that Queen pranked them by having their roadies start pulling the gear offstage during their last song.
This is one of my favorite Dakota songs...did I mention that Dakota is one of my favorite bands? Thanks for posting this!
This is good music to try and do a tricky task of DIY to " If it take s all night were gonna get right "
I was there
Great Stuff!
My left ear enjoyed this, but my right ear was pissed.
