time: 5:53 am
awoken from slumber, i lay still,
my eyes open, slightly strained because i still keep the lights on.
as it stands, mentally, i'm not myself.
my drive for passion seems more like a chore,
especially when i pull all-nighters to achieve it.
returning back to my bed, i ask myself the question, "is this real?"
i wonder this, as i cannot recall when i first fell asleep.
my memory is lost from me passin' out due to exhaustion.
that's what i get for having crazy dreams, isn't it?
overworking myself to the point where i can't sleep during normal hours of the night...
now i'm just subjected to starin' at the ceiling,
reflecting on the position i put myself in,
only to remind myself why i did this in the first place.
