I have never used Obliviax in my campaign. I havent even looked at their entry in the Monster Manual II in quite a few years. I never used them when i was young and running campaigns because my gaming group prefered hack and slash back then. NOW, they love mysteries, puzzles, and actual role playing. I simply have to use these in the next adventure i write. Thanks for sharing this one!
I've been borderline obsessed with the Obliviax and the Wolf-in-Sheep's-Clothing since the 80's, quite pleased to see discussion of it to help drive inspiration ^^

I remember running into this as a player. My character, not so much.
lol
Obliviax sounds like a Marvel supervillain name
Cool story. Reminds me of the time when, uh, you know... The thing with the, uh other thing. You know, no joke.
That one time at band camp?
@jasonjacobson1157 Sometimes, I forget things.
@@migueldelmazo5244 you'd remember that one time at band camp if you knew the movie reference.
@@jasonjacobson1157 it's American Pie, but the mold took my memories... See video above. :)
Thanks for the video! Never used this one. Sounds fun but tricky, like doppelgangers.
I completely forgot about this thing.
